This place was really good and huge portions. I like how attentive the server was to me he was the African Americans gentleman filled my water and the service was super fast I had my food in like 5 -10 minutes after order was placed. I had some left overs to go with how big the portion was I also asked for extra chicken which came with a lot of chicken. read more

Spice - Chicken Pad Thai - Thai Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

GREAT food! Atmosphere is perfect, service was great. Parking available-which is a plus for this area! Went with a work colleague from Houston that said his Black Pepper Chicken was the best he has had. I had Samon Curry with sauteed veggies. Everything was favorable. Soups were tasty. Prices very reasonable. I will definitely be back. read more

The food was good. Although my pad se ew noodles were basically bottom of the box crumbled noodle pieces. The flavor was still right on and the boyfriends lo mein was excellent. Definitely on par with Thailicious or Thai Palace. On to service. Not so great. Absolutely no communication between servers and staff. After placing our order for drinks some one else came back asking what we would like to drink. Shortly after drinks were served we placed an app order and once again some one else returned to the table asking if we would like any appetizers. A different person put app plates down and it wasn't until the apps were served and they started to put more app plates down that they realized someone had already brought some. Twice after we were finished eating someone attempted to serve us another tables food. This was during an early dinner with only 3 couples eating and one party of six. They definitely need to work on their service but the food has great potential. Hope this one can make it. read more

We had the fried sampler, Tom Yum noodle soup, green curry, and a Thai tea. Dropped over $50. Service lacked. Food extremely expensive. Tom Yum was so bad that I did not even eat it. I should have asked for a refund. I left with my bowl full. The green curry and Thai tea was mediocre at best. read more

I had lunch here with a friend. Service was good and the staff pleasant. They checked in often enough to be helpful but not interrupt the conversation. I had the PaNang Curry, with chicken, spice level 2. The sauce was excellent. However, the slices of chicken breast seemed overcooked and dry. My friend ordered the Three Mushrooms dish, also with chicken, that seemed off to her as well. The spring rolls and salads were lovely and the peanut sauce excellent. I'm going to try them again but am definitely avoiding ordering their chicken. read more

The food here is delicious and you can't beat the prices, especially at lunch. The Pad See Ew is the best although spice levels can be inconsistent. Sometimes a level 3 is great, sometimes it's really spicy. The staff is all very friendly. read more

I ordered to go and it was great, the food quality was amazing and the service is great, also it was made quick and ready by the time I pick up, definitely this is my new favorite spot for Thai food. I got the C-5 curry and the wonton soup. I love it! read more

Food is always of good quality . Nothing but positive experience. Be careful on the spice level. A 3 level is pretty spicy, but not too much heat. read more

Real bad service! We came got out drinks and one appetizer. 25-30 minutes we waited on our table and no one came to check on us to see if we wanted to order, we had to ask them for a manager or supervisor. Once someone came I said "we been ready to order for 25 minutes" she said oh do you want to take to go, I said no we came to dine in with my family, she said oh then what do you want to do. I said I want to order, the I asked for my check, it was ridiculous.... other people that came after us had their food already but us! This was our first and last time here! read more

I love the food, the atmosphere and the employees!! They are always so patient with us and let us take our time to order 10/10 would highly recommend ! read more

As a Thai food fanatic, this place definitely lives up to its name! It's more of an upscale Thai place, but still has an authentic feel and the prices are reasonable! I got the Massaman curry with brown rice (my favorite Thai dish), and my husband got the pineapple fried rice. The curry was phenomenal, but the pineapple fried rice was a little bland in my opinion. (Granted, I prefer quite a bit of spice). We also tried the spring rolls and cucumber salad, both of which were very fresh and tasty! This place is a perfect date night spot, and I definitely plan on coming back in the near future! Plus, the magnolia district of Fort Worth isn't a bad place to be. :) read more

I've came before maybe 3 times in the past two yrs or so bc the food was good but the service I received was very rude today, I had to cancel my order and leave. they didn't even apologize or try to keep my business .. I had several questions and was a little confused about the order I had just placed and they just gave me annoyed looks. the guy taking my Order even grunted very loudly and was so annoyed by me.. I only had questions about the noodle Tom yum soup bc it said it has noodles and vegetables and it turns out it doesn't have vegetables n it just has basil and sprouts??? Other times I've ordered it, it did come w mushrooms too. And they wont sub the noodles for vermicelli noodles either?? Which they've done before too... and the lady said "not us we haven't done that" n she pointed at herself and the guy. when I said that I mean the restaurant!!!! I just politely told them to cancel my order and left!! I work in customer service and you don't make your clientele feel as if they are an inconvenience to you... and it was very slow in there too so I don't understand the extreme frustration! I kept my cool while u you guys are just trying to charge extra for everything!! I won't be returning..being courteous and polite is a must and answering questions is a given when you don't know a cuisine or the menu very well... read more

The food was excellent! It is definitely some of the best Thai food in Fort Worth. We were there on a Friday night so a wait was expected, but still it ended up being really long. After we were seated it took 45 minutes to have outlet order taken. They were busy so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I can see myself eating here again. read more

Great spot tucked away from the bustle of magnolia. The pad Thai and curries are very good and better than other Thai places in the area. Parking can be a pain but there is always street parking. They have a great lunch special of all the favorite items that is very reasonable for lunch read more

Great food, but be warned; the spice scale is no joke. I got my curry on a 5 (on a 1-5 scale) and OH MY GOD!!! I've had Thai food in Thailand and this was the spiciest I've ever encountered. It was excellent, but HOT. If you're not used to spice, consider a 1 or 2. :) read more

Food was very flavorful. Menu had a lot of lunch options. For $10 we got a spring roll, side salad and our entree. Not a bad deal! We wish the waitress was more attentive, friendly and did a better job explaining the menu to us since it was our first time there. Not greatly impressed but we will give it another try soon. read more

Came to Spice with my husband for a rare date night at 730 on Saturday night. Drove 20 minute from home and had a reservation. We were seated immediately upon arrival, and then.... nothing!! We sat at our table for exactly 25 minutes without being acknowledged. We waited as all the tables around us were vacated and servers cleaned them up and not a single person would even look at us so we could get their attention. At one point 3 servers were cleaning the empty table next to us and it was like we didn't exist. We were so frustrated after 25 minutes that even if someone had finally waited on us, we would have been too upset to enjoy our meal. So we got up, left our table at the back of the restaurant and walked through the restaurant past servers who still failed to notice us! It was just unbelievable. read more

This is one of our family's favorite go to spots. Really everything is delicious - from their curries to the larb, duck salad, Thai fried rice, soups - and a decent selection of wines to go with. Lunch is a great price and includes a side salad and egg roll, be sure to get the peanut salad dressing. The staff is attentive. Atmosphere is normally nice but during COVID seating is somewhat limited so lots of take out orders. read more

Food was awesome. I was surprised to see how busy the place was on a weekday ( Wednesday evening)

FABULOUS lunch today at Spice! Took a friend for birthday lunch, and Chat, before he even knew we were celebrating a birthday, took excellent care of us. In addition to exceptional service and an entertaining spirit, he brought ice cream with a candle to her for a desert, and I didn't even ask him to do so. He was wonderful and added a positive vibe to the celebration. The meal was excellent as well. read more

We've always loved spice and ordered pickup for years even before covid (and even more during covid to be supportive) but tonight my husband went to pick up and they asked him for money for our extra peanut sauce. I don't mind paying for extra sauce, but $1 a tiny container seems extreme, especially without warning. If it's that big of deal perhaps add extra sauce to the menu with a price vs begging my kind husband for money? read more

This is the best Thai food I've eaten point blank period. I visited San Francisco and none of the Thai places could touch Spice. The flavors just pop from the different spice combinations and fresh ingredients. The drinks were also refreshing and nice proportions. read more

The atmosphere here is awesome; modern, but cozy and inviting at the same time. Location is great, service is great.... ...but the food is pretty mediocre. I liked the egg roll that came as a side, but the rest was kind of disappointing. I've tried the green curry, which is more like grey curry and much too heavy, and I've tried the pad Thai which is too sweet for my taste. Also, for a place called "Spice," there was really no heat in my food! They didn't ask me if I wanted it mild, that's just how it came. I don't know if all dishes come this way, or if they saw a blonde white girl and just assumed I couldn't handle it. Either way, that's a demerit from me... I'm glad we tried it, and we had a pretty good experience, but we probably won't be coming back. read more

First time here. Food was amazing, service perfect. We had drunken noodles and a curry. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Social distancing, masks, thoroughly cleaning in between customers. We will be back! read more

Foods good. Barely makes up for the horrible service. Waiters have been decent but owner is incredibly rude and dismissive. If you're big on good service don't go. recommend the gang pak read more

NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! When I tried to call to place my order, I called 4 times with no answer. I ordered off Google and while I waited (over 30 minutes after my pick up time) in the restaurant, I constantly heard the phone ringing. So many employees, no answer to the phone. It's great food but the pick up service is sub par :/ read more

yummy food great prices. Went on a sunday. I loved it. going back today. I got a curry dish level 2, just the right amount of kick. the spring roll was good. try the sticky rice desert, there's enough for like 6 people, to share. it comes with slices of papaya and the rice is flavored. very good. husband got pad thai and he liked it. also try the thai tea, its delicious. read more

INCREDIBLY GOOD DELICIOUS FOOD! The service was great also. The presentation of the plates went with their taste. I strongly recommend the chicken satay apettaicer. As an entree I had the teriyaki chicken with brown rice:) Love it. read more

I went Friday night to have dinner with my friend. The food was good but not to die for. I think my biggest concern was the uncomfortable feeling of having a different waiter every 5-10 min. We didn't have just one waiter but multiple people. Different waiters kept stopping by asking us if we were ready to order, if we had finished with our plates, and if we needed the check. We felt like they were trying to rush us out of the restaurant. if you'd like to try it, I would recommend an order to go; to enjoy at the comfort of your place, rather than been disturbed every 5 min. read more

I so enjoy Spice. I love their vegetarian and gluten-free choices. This time I had the Pad Asparagus, oh so yummy. The tofu and Asparagus cooked perfectly. The wait staff was attentive and our meal arrived quickly. They have Sunday lunch specials, this means the menu is smaller but unless you want something way out there you should be able to find something you like. I gave it 4 stars because I did feel queasy by the time I arrived home. There may have been some cross contamination with gluten. Overall it was a nice lunch. read more

Best Thai food in town! You're not going to find a better Thai restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing. I order something different every time I go, and have never been let down. We stoped at Spice after enjoying Artsgoggle in Magnolia. For how crowded it was they welcomed us very friendly and sat us down quick. My girlfriends and I ordered 3 diff appetizers because we couldn't make our mind with the great menu selection. We had spring rolls, egg rolls and chicken satay, all which were amazing. I ordered the drunken noodles for main entree and they were delicious! Very flavorful and fresh. Great place for Thai! Must try :) read more

They closed at 10, we showed up at 9:30 and they refused to serve us. Is this typical for all restaurants? I feel like 30 mins would be more than enough time to order and leave in time for them to close. Ruined my blind date. read more

We hadn't been here for quite a while, and I'm really glad we came back. I like that in addition to the usual coconut milk other heavily-sauced curries that you can get at any Thai restaurant, they have specialties that you don't find everywhere. Tonight we had the spring rolls (with the wonderful, not too-sweet peanut sauce), calamari, and the Gai Yang - Som Tum -- the grilled half chicken with crispy skin and a papaya salad on top. We also shared a bottle of the sparkling, peach-flavored saki. Great meal for the end of a hot day that left us feeling satisfied, but not logy and overstuffed. read more
