Came here for lunch on a Monday around 11:30am and it was packed! It's not a big place so people were having to wait on their small entrance area. I really liked the food here and the atmosphere and interior is really nice. The same "industrial chic/contemporary feel" type stuff that has become super popular in recent times. Service is a little shoddy though, but it was busy so that could be why. We did wait 20 min for our cocktails though until getting another waiter to ask the bartender, and he ended up bringing our drinks for us. That was slightly irritating. I definitely enjoyed my lychee mojito though! I love lychee and thought it was a good mix. Lunch special was nice, everything was $10 and you get a salad, egg roll or veggie spring roll and the entree size is pretty big. My friend and I also shared the big portion of Tom Kha soup ($12) and it was a LOT! And super tasty!! I always get this soup in every Thai restaurant I visit , and this one had plenty of chicken and mushrooms and didn't disappoint. We split it and I took some home to go as well. Ended up taking half of my pad Thai home too because it was a big serving. The Pad Thai is good. Compares about the same to others I have tried at other Thai restaurants. Nothing extraordinary I would say. My friend said her Thai fried rice was also good, and the egg roll was nice, crispy and meaty (and a extra bit of grease too lol which I liked). One thing that was a tad bit upsetting is that they had a patio and since the inside was busy, my friend and I were hoping to enjoy another mojito on this nice beautiful spring day on the patio. The manager however stated that the patio was closed and we weren't allowed in. I thought that was quite strange considering the weather was gorgeous and the fact that we were wanting to give them more business but we get turned down because they couldn't simply open the patio. I'm not a restaurant owner though so there could be plenty of reasons why they couldn't, I just found it upsetting. Overall the lychee mojito stood out, and I appreciated the portions but I've been to plenty of Thai restaurants and this one didn't particularly stick out to me enough to care to come back. I know other Thai restaurants with better service and BYOB which I think I'd prefer since apparently I can't even enjoy lunch other with drinks on the patio at this place. read more

I was expecting more from this restaurant after reading their reviews but was sadly disappointed. We got the basil fried rice and tom kha soup. My friend who got the basil fried rice said it was bland and lackluster compared to other Thai places he preferred dining at. I ordered the tom kha. The menu listed the soup size options as either a bowl or a hot pot. Normally restaurants list soup sizes as a cup (if you want the soup as a side dish for a larger entree) or a bowl (if you want the soup as your entree) so I was confused. I tried to clarify when I ordered and the waitress told me the bowl was a good size for one person so I ordered that size. $8 for a bowl seemed pretty pricey for a tiny side dish of soup, plus the waitress said its fine for one person so I got that size. Sadly, it turned out to be the scrawny side dish size. I even got an addition of rice noodles (the soup doesn't come with rice or noodles) and the waitress knew I wanted to add them to the soup so I thought she would've picked up on the fact that I was expecting the soup to be the size of a normal entree. The side of noodles turned out to be bigger than the soup itself. Both flavor and value lacked in my experience at Spice, I won't be coming back especially with all the other food places to try in Fort Worth. read more

Spice - Thai Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Been a while since I'd been here and I thought it was time to give it another try. I went with a couple of friends on a Friday night & we got a table immediately. Our server was friendly & attentive. We each ordered something different and agreed everything was good - especially love the little pyramids of sticky brown rice & think they do this better than most anywhere else we usually go for Chinese or Thai. We each had enough to take some home and the prices were pretty good considering you're on Magnolia St. The ambiance is very chill (dark & posh compared to most Asian restaurants), but if you're more interested in quality & quantity of food, there are better choices. read more

What an amazing lunch! It was a bit of a drive, but well worth it. I had the yellow curry. DELICIOUS! and my spouse had garlic chicken and veggie dish. It came with a salad which I scarfed down, and the entree came with an eggroll which was perfectly done as it was not icky or greasy. The staff, what can I say...all of them are utterly amazing and thoughtful. I return to Seattle soon but will mark this is a return destination! read more

The food was great, the service was good; however, when prompted for payment, I was hit with this really awkward payment system. They refused to give me a check and refused to take my card. Made me pay on some weird wand thing and tip while the server was yelling at me. Never again. read more

Just stopped in and picked up pineapple chicken and spicy noodles. The place is clean and the food is so delicious so good I had to stop eating and send them a message that it's delicious and we will return often. Very nice and quick service. Go try it out! read more

Spice - Drunken noodle and Tom Kha! - Thai Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

I've been here between 5-7 times. Pickup and Eat in. General consensus is eh. Not great. So so so over priced. Not the nicest wait staff. Food isn't anything special. Portions are small. I paid 7.95 for a take out of burnt Crab Rangoon. 5 little burnt wontons with 1/2 tablespoon of cream cheese and (maybe?) crab. Not sure if there's any even in there. Drive to Arlington and eat at Thai House. Now that is delicious!!! And authentic! read more

Spice - Burnt crab Rangoon that's SO overpriced - Thai Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Great menu. Inside seating was small/limited but well spaced. Super cute outdoor seating that I believe is only open on the weekends. Service was not above and beyond but was appropriate and nice. Loved the Tom Kha soup. Pad thai was pretty standard but tasty. Coconut ice cream was mediocre. Didn't get a chance to take pics because we ate too fast! Would recommend this restaurant. read more

Really good pad Thai. We have been here several times and have really enjoyed it. The curry has nice flavor and aroma too. I do recommend the Tom yum soup over the clear veggie soup. It has a more flavorful broth and the spice is to die for. The Tom yum noodle soup is really good too. There are many complex flavors that make it really enjoyable. Side note: We did see them at the art festival selling Thai food. Even though it was all pre made for the festival the stuff was good. read more

Spice is the best place to order takeout from on Magnolia! When I moved to Fort Worth, I tasked myself with finding the best Tom Kha soup and Pad Thai in the city. Which, I am confident I found at Spice. I love coming here and ordering those items! The portion sizes are great, and the staff is friendly. My only critique is that the pad thai spice level varies a lot, so you never are sure what to expect. But it is always delicious! read more

I came here with my friends and I ordered a chicken pad Thai level 4 spice. One friend ordered hers with tofu and the other ordered their pad see ew with pork. Our orders came out and I got tofu and my friend got chicken. The protein we ordered was completely switched. I think our waitress maybe wrote the protein we wanted too close to each order??? Pretty disappointed about eating tofu with my pad Thai but I was able to let that go. The pad Thai had a very odd flavor to it that I've never had in other places. My friend didn't really like what she had either. Maybe will try again in the future, but as of right now, no. read more

It's okay. The atmosphere is nice and the AC is pleasant. They were confusing to talk to over the phone, though. The table service seemed rushed even though there was no one there. They got my order wrong, giving me chicken instead of tofu. Their food was pretty good. Thai select (the original restaurant from these folks) is a lot better, I'd recommend going there instead. read more

I am continually amazed at the variety of culinary choices in Fort Worth. Spice is a wonderful choice for Thai - service was pleasant, efficient and non intrusive. The meals were perfectly prepared and quite savory. This has my official stamp of approval - it's not a big place and is easy to miss. It's in the corner of S Jennings and W magnolia. If you enjoy beer try the Changs. read more

Went to lunch at Spice with the wifey and had a great time. We both had the lunch specials with wifey ordering the orange chicken and I had the green curry with pork both with brown rice. This came with a salad and egg or veg spring roll which were great accompaniments. I found the green curry to be more creamy than I was used to initially but mixed in with the rice it was just right. The wifey enjoyed the orange chicken. Overall great value for money will come again to try their dinner fare. read more

Spice - Thai Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Food was okay service was okay. Thai tea - I love Thai tea and theirs was good. Crab rangoon - big bites, filling. But a little too light on the crab. I could only taste the cream cheese, which is yummy, but not what I want in a crab Rangoon Som tum (Papaya Salad) - not a fan of their papaya salad. I don't think the green beans add anything to flavors. The dish would be way better if the peanuts were crushed rather than whole. The flavors were just not close enough to a traditional papaya salad nor were they a good spin on a traditional papaya salad. I would not recommend this dish to anyone. Green curry (chicken) - lacking depth in flavor. Too bland which is very unusual for a curry. Pad see ew (pork) - This was the only dish we ordered that I liked. Nothing special but done well. They don't give you an option for how spicy you want anything. Even though I went during slow hours the service was lacking. But sometimes people are more on their game when places are busy so wouldn't be surprised if it was just a one off. Everyone was nice. read more

Delicious! Space is limited but waiting time is minimal. The service is ok, not extremely friendly but attentive staff. I ordered the drunken noodles and my friend ordered a type of curry. The noodles were great! The curry was ok (in my opinion). This was my first time trying Thai food and it was great! Will definitely come here again in the future. read more

Came here after looking online for a Thai food establishment. It is a smaller venue but has great food. The food is as closest to real Thai as we have had in the area. The service was outstanding. The team is very friendly. Lot of take out goes through here. The menu offers a lot of choices. Everything was prepared to our request. We heard no complaints only praises from other guest here. We will go back I am sure. read more

I really love the food. Everything tastes fresh and is a great gem for anyone looking for quality Thai food in Fort Worth. The only downside is cost. This place is one of the more costly Thai restaurants, for sure. If they made their food more affordable for TCU students like myself, my review would be all the much better. read more

I'm no expert in Thai food but I have to say this place was excellent, mainly because the food was not heavy and it tasted very fresh. I ordered the pad ginger from their lunch menu and with it comes your choice of spring or egg roll as well as a small appetizer salad. I ordered my salad with their peanut dressing which is basically the same sauce in which to dip your spring roll. While the spring roll was meatless, it was good with only veggies. I have to say that the peanut sauce, while tasty, was too sweet for me. I ordered my pad ginger with beef and white rice. The pad has lots of veggies with fresh ginger and thinly sliced beef - though the beef was a bit on the tough side. Overall it quite good. While this was a lunch menu, prices run $10 for their lunch items. The restaurant itself is small and I understand they can get very busy. Come early and park in the back is my best tip. Overall good experience and I will definitely return! read more

Delicious food. I love their spicy drunkun shrimp noodles. Be careful on the number spice you choose lol cause it is hot hot lol

Positives: great outdoor space, wonderful Thai tea with cream, great pot stickers Negatives: meals and salad dressings; The meals tasted as though they were cooked yesterday as the noodles were mushy. The shrimp in my pad see ew had an odd smell to me, so for fear of getting sick I ended up eating very little. Asked for ranch dressing but was given the peanut, very thick, did not personally enjoy. I do appreciate the owner reaching out in response, customer service was on par. read more

It was spicy and not just spiced as in seasoned. The food was just not to our liking. We prefer others in the area.

Awful... do not eat!!!!! So rude!!!! I paid for extra, the lady said it was extra. Then took my food to the back for 5 minutes just to bring back out the same food but put half in another container. The chicken was raw in the middle so check your food!!! The rice was hard and not cooked plus you can see last nights ceggies mixed with the newly cooked ones!!! DO NOT EAT THIS TRASH! I used to love this place but the service is bad and now the food. $20 wasted (crab ragoon was soggy)! read more

Food is Great! Rating is purely because the food is bomb. Like super bomb! If you want friendly service... not your place.

I like crab fried rice and tom yum soup. Lots of real crab meat and soup is very tasty.

I used to enjoy this place quite a bit. However, the last time was awful. Disappointing service and food. I'm surprised it's still open.

They have the best Thai food in Fort Worth! The staff is friendly, the food is AMAZING, and it's a cute spot with great atmosphere.

I had the opportunity to try Spice at a business lunch this week. It's a small place but seemed very trendy and the food and service was great! I had Pad Key Mao (Drunken Noodles). It was delicious with a lot of veggies. I chose chicken for my protein but all of the lunch specials come with your choice of protein. You also get a small salad ... try the lemon dressing ... and an egg roll or spring roll. I'll be back next time I'm in the area to try more dishes! read more

This place is just near my employer, actually walking distance and I come here often. Their peanut sauce has a sweet roasted flavor and pairs great with the spring rolls. You can also try it on their salads. The first bite into their spring rolls you can taste the cool cilantro, which I love - fresh! They have great tea which is fresh brewed and served with a lime and pellet ice. Don't let the outside fool you, they have plenty of seating and serve food fast. The tables are small but they will accommodate any size group, just be sure to go before 12 - that's when it picks up! read more

Do not even stop here. Went during lunch waited 40 minutes and still did not get to eat. The waiter did not send our orders to the kitchen and there was no apology or anything. Came into spice today and instead of ordering my delicious Thai Tea they offered a new strawberry cucumber lemonade! Boy let me tell you.. I have a new favorite drink.
