Really good pad Thai. We have been here several times and have really enjoyed it. The curry has nice flavor and aroma too. I do recommend the Tom yum soup over the clear veggie soup. It has a more flavorful broth and the spice is to die for. The Tom yum noodle soup is really good too. There are many complex flavors that make it really enjoyable. I came here with my friends and I ordered a chicken pad Thai level 4 spice. One friend ordered hers with tofu and the other ordered their pad see ew with pork. Our orders came out and I got tofu and my friend got chicken. The protein we ordered was completely switched. I think our waitress maybe wrote the protein we wanted too close to each order??? Pretty disappointed about eating tofu with my pad Thai but I was able to let that go. The pad Thai had a very odd flavor to it that I've never had in other places. This is definitely one of the better Thai places I've had in Fort Worth. Previously, I had only eaten at Kin Kin and Thailicious. I'm glad I tried this place though. Food - 4/5 1. Yellow curry w/ chicken - they are SO generous with the chicken. There was more than 2x the chicken compared to the other Thai places in Fort Worth. The curry itself was also very flavorful. 2. Pad thai with chicken - This is the first time I've had pad thai in Fort Worth and actually liked it. The portion was also very large. I only ate half 3. Bamboo shrimp - These are shrimp wrapped in an egg roll wrapper and deep fried. It was tasty, but overpriced at 6 for $9. 4. Thai tea - It was cute and came in a mason jar. It was too sweet and had too much condensed milk. I barely tasted any tea. 5. Thai ice coffee - This tasted just like Vietnamese coffee jello to me. Went to lunch at Spice with the wifey and had a great time. We both had the lunch specials with wifey ordering the orange chicken and I had the green curry with pork both with brown rice. This came with a salad and egg or veg spring roll which were great accompaniments. I found the green curry to be more creamy than I was used to initially but mixed in with the rice it was just right. The wifey enjoyed the orange chicken. Overall great value for money will come again to try their dinner fare. read more

Food was okay service was okay. Thai tea - I love Thai tea and theirs was good. Crab rangoon - big bites, filling. But a little too light on the crab. I could only taste the cream cheese, which is yummy, but not what I want in a crab Rangoon Som tum (Papaya Salad) - not a fan of their papaya salad. I don't think the green beans add anything to flavors. The dish would be way better if the peanuts were crushed rather than whole. The flavors were just not close enough to a traditional papaya salad nor were they a good spin on a traditional papaya salad. I would not recommend this dish to anyone. Green curry (chicken) - lacking depth in flavor. Too bland which is very unusual for a curry. Pad see ew (pork) - This was the only dish we ordered that I liked. Nothing special but done well. They don't give you an option for how spicy you want anything. Even though I went during slow hours the service was lacking. Came here for lunch on a Monday around 11:30am and it was packed! It's not a big place so people were having to wait on their small entrance area. I really liked the food here and the atmosphere and interior is really nice. The same "industrial chic/contemporary feel" type stuff that has become super popular in recent times. We did wait 20 min for our cocktails though until getting another waiter to ask the bartender, and he ended up bringing our drinks for us. That was slightly irritating. I definitely enjoyed my lychee mojito though! I love lychee and thought it was a good mix. Lunch special was nice, everything was $10 and you get a salad, egg roll or veggie spring roll and the entree size is pretty big. My friend and I also shared the big portion of Tom Kha soup ($12) and it was a LOT! And super tasty!! I always get this soup in every Thai restaurant I visit , and this one had plenty of chicken and mushrooms and didn't disappoint. We split it and I took some home to go as well. Ended up taking half of my pad Thai home too because it was a big serving. The Pad Thai is good. Compares about the same to others I have tried at other Thai restaurants. Nothing extraordinary I would say. My friend said her Thai fried rice was also good, and the egg roll was nice, crispy and meaty (and a extra bit of grease too lol which I liked). One thing that was a tad bit upsetting is that they had a patio and since the inside was busy, my friend and I were hoping to enjoy another mojito on this nice beautiful spring day on the patio. The manager however stated that the patio was closed and we weren't allowed in. I thought that was quite strange considering the weather was gorgeous and the fact that we were wanting to give them more business but we get turned down because they couldn't simply open the patio. I'm not a restaurant owner though so there could be plenty of reasons why they couldn't, I just found it upsetting. Overall the lychee mojito stood out, and I appreciated the portions but I've been to plenty of Thai restaurants and this one didn't particularly stick out to me enough to care to come back. Came here after looking online for a Thai food establishment. It is a smaller venue but has great food. The food is as closest to real Thai as we have had in the area. The service was outstanding. I was expecting more from this restaurant after reading their reviews but was sadly disappointed. We got the basil fried rice and tom kha soup. My friend who got the basil fried rice said it was bland and lackluster compared to other Thai places he preferred dining at. I ordered the tom kha. The menu listed the soup size options as either a bowl or a hot pot. Normally restaurants list soup sizes as a cup (if you want the soup as a side dish for a larger entree) or a bowl (if you want the soup as your entree) so I was confused. I tried to clarify when I ordered and the waitress told me the bowl was a good size for one person so I ordered that size. $8 for a bowl seemed pretty pricey for a tiny side dish of soup, plus the waitress said its fine for one person so I got that size. Sadly, it turned out to be the scrawny side dish size. I even got an addition of rice noodles (the soup doesn't come with rice or noodles) and the waitress knew I wanted to add them to the soup so I thought she would've picked up on the fact that I was expecting the soup to be the size of a normal entree. The side of noodles turned out to be bigger than the soup itself. Both flavor and value lacked in my experience at Spice, I won't be coming back especially with all the other food places to try in Fort Worth. read more

I've been here between 5-7 times. Pickup and Eat in. General consensus is eh. Not great. So so so over priced. Not the nicest wait staff. Food isn't anything special. Portions are small. I paid 7.95 for a take out of burnt Crab Rangoon. 5 little burnt wontons with 1/2 tablespoon of cream cheese and (maybe?) crab. Not sure if there's any even in there. I'm no expert in Thai food but I have to say this place was excellent, mainly because the food was not heavy and it tasted very fresh. I ordered the pad ginger from their lunch menu and with it comes your choice of spring or egg roll as well as a small appetizer salad. I ordered my salad with their peanut dressing which is basically the same sauce in which to dip your spring roll. While the spring roll was meatless, it was good with only veggies. I have to say that the peanut sauce, while tasty, was too sweet for me. I ordered my pad ginger with beef and white rice. The pad has lots of veggies with fresh ginger and thinly sliced beef - though the beef was a bit on the tough side. Overall it quite good. While this was a lunch menu, prices run $10 for their lunch items. The restaurant itself is small and I understand they can get very busy. Come early and park in the back is my best tip. I had the opportunity to try Spice at a business lunch this week. It's a small place but seemed very trendy and the food and service was great! I had Pad Key Mao (Drunken Noodles). It was delicious with a lot of veggies. I chose chicken for my protein but all of the lunch specials come with your choice of protein. This place is just near my employer, actually walking distance and I come here often. Their peanut sauce has a sweet roasted flavor and pairs great with the spring rolls. You can also try it on their salads. The first bite into their spring rolls you can taste the cool cilantro, which I love - fresh! They have great tea which is fresh brewed and served with a lime and pellet ice. Don't let the outside fool you, they have plenty of seating and serve food fast. The tables are small but they will accommodate any size group, just be sure to go before 12 - that's when it picks up! read more

Came into spice today and instead of ordering my delicious Thai Tea they offered a new strawberry cucumber lemonade! Boy let me tell you.. I have a new favorite drink. Food is good (I'd say about 3.5 stars) but the service was terrible. And this is not at all the fault of the wait staff, because they were trying. I'd blame poor management. All of the waiters also seemed to be the bartender, busboys, waiters and hostess. There seemed to be a lack of order or a system and those poor staff were running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. The waits were ridiculous. The wait to be seated, a waitress approach or table for our order and the wait to get the check were all over 20 minutes. Spice lost a passionate customer today. This is for management: I am in town again and thought I'd visit Spice. We waited 20 mins without ANY acknowledgment at the "wait to be seated sign". During this time the staff walked within 10 ft of us at least 50 times. Got up and informed the waitress and she seemed to care not one bit and made excuses - no apology, nothing. This is not acceptable. I am allergic to capsicum (bell peppers), so I ordered without the peppers. It arrived with peppers (after a 30+ min wait) so I sent it back. Waitress returned 1 minute later with the same curry with the pepper taken out. I literally confronted the waitress "did you just pull them out?" She hesitated until I told her I am allergic and she sheepishly said "yes we did". Then a new dish came 5 mins later, and was the worst thing I have ever had at Spice. This is not acceptable, and it is dangerous to cut corners like this when dealing with allergies. Management should be ashamed, and I look forward to hearing from them. Usually at any restaurant I would get an apology and offer to take a bit off the check (which I would not accept - but expect to be offered in a major service failure). No apology. Nothing. The staff and service was completely clueless. Still waiting for response from management about what happened. read more

Great atmosphere and great sever!! I felt tended to and taken care of! I ordered the kamikaze drink which is excellent! Truly the reason for the 3 stars is because being a picky eater, I ordered the lo mien. This was because the menu did not merino any veggies: I thought it would be best instead of having a complicated order to order this, however, when it was brought to me, there were more veggies than anything else. I'm more than willing to try this place again but I think they need to be more specific in their menu. read more
