We moved to Denver in November and I started at Manic right away, recommended by a friend, and I couldn't be more thankful. There are people there from all walks of life and fitness levels but you work as hard as YOU can with no judgement. Pete (the owner) will push you hard, and the workouts are hard, the payoff is worth every second! I can feel a difference just if I skip one day. I have lost 14lbs in 4 months. For those of you who have injuries this is a great place to go! Pete works around all injuries and strengthens muscles to help your injuries. I have a spine issue, spondylolisthesis, that I got while playing sports in high school. Since having kids I have been in severe pain, some days I couldn't stand straight up and ended up getting steroid shots in my back. In December I was scheduled to have a procedure to numb some nerves in my spine to help with the issue but after going to manic and strengthening my core and legs I have Zero pain and ended up canceling my surgery. To say manic changed my life is an understatement. Highly highly recommend!!! Try it out!

There's a lot to love about the workout -- it changes each day, takes 45 minutes, and is designed to generate results. This particular location has a really awesome roundup of coaches and good vibes from the members overall which amps up the experience. The days vary in focus, with some catered towards strength, some cardio, and some hybrid. I particularly love the strength days and could feel myself getting stronger week after week. They also have a body scan machine that members have access to at anytime to see how your body is changing and run regular challenges for members to push themselves. Like most gyms nowadays, the unlimited membership is pricey but worth it if you come frequently. They also have other class pass cards (and are on ClassPass) for other options. Overall, I'd recommend trying it out if you're curious!

For this reason making it near difficult to book classes we gave up. I give 3 stars because the app is terrible, the classes are okay, (very tight quarters if working out with strangers) and the hoops you have to go thru to cancel your membership. You must keep for a minimum of 6 months, I was told to pause my membership then told again to keep paying until my 6 months were up. $79 and $39 for my daughter. The amount of times you have to call and text to get a straight and clear answer as to how to cancel is tumultuous. Before committing to a 6 month membership I suggest (((try before you buy. Try a class or 2 for us it wasn't worth the hype.)))

Roger, the owner, has made several improvements since I started going and continues to build the community feel. He's very supportive and it continues to be a place that inspires me. I haven't been able to go due to an ankle injury but I know that when I walk through those doors I will be welcomed back. The gym equipment was outdated, the facility often felt dirty, and there seemed to be very little enforcement of basic cleanliness, including making sure equipment was wiped down after use. The classes were also disappointing and did not meet the level of quality we expected. In addition, the membership upgrades were extremely overpriced considering what was actually offered compared with other local gyms. What was even more frustrating was the billing experience after we canceled. Despite canceling our membership and contacting Chuze multiple times, charges continued to be withdrawn from my bank account. I was told the issue would be corrected, but the charges continued. I ultimately had to cancel my debit card and close the bank account to prevent additional unauthorized withdrawals. Based on my experience, I would strongly stay away from this gym. It is dirty, nasty, over crowded, and overpriced compared to what other much nicer nearby gyms offer. Be aware!!​
