They knew I had anxiety and claustrophobia and made sure to talk me through everything and literally the most painless numbing I've ever experienced. They actually care about you and make what would normally be a terribly uncomfortable experience one that I am singing praises over. My previous dental history: I have had straight and healthy teeth. Some grinding wear due to bruxism (I have had since childhood, but wear a mouth soft guard to prevent damage at night, and I have worn it since adolesence). I have always seen a dentist 1-2 times a year since childhood for preventative care. When I was a child and teen I had 3 cavities, which have been filled, but other than that, an otherwise healthy dental history. No wisdom teeth present, etc. No pain or issues. My Review of my visit: Pros -the office staff were friendly and professional. The office was clean and welcoming. Dr. Julie Buchanan was friendly. Cons - was told by Dr. Buchanan that I needed full veneers. Was told that I should have all of my previous fillings taken out and replaced, because they were "old and may fall out sometime". The quote was thousands $$$$$$. I have never had another dentist request that I receive veneers and replace of all my fillings. They have always told me my teeth were healthy. They asked when I wanted to set up a time to do that. I did not set that up and did not come back. After my appointment with Dr. Buchanan I received 2nd opinions. I was told none of those procedures would be necessary. I continue to see a dentist 1-2 times per year for regular preventative care. Fast forward 6-8 years. I did not get veneers and did not replacing my old fillings. No pain and I am healthy. Fillings are still there and causing zero issues. I am told I have healthy and straight teeth. Felt like I was being sold something $$$$ I didn't need.

The back office staff was so accommodating to my comfort and overall experience. My provider had such a calming and caring way about him. I was very impressed with the time he took to be sure I didn't experience any discomfort. It was amazing to me how without any topical anesthetic I wasn't able to feel the numbing needle at all.
