I had the most awful experience. Upon arriving at the office and filling out the paperwork I asked a question about a COVID consent form which required my signature and which stated IN BOLD that the office would only treat in an emergency or urgent situation, etc. My situation is neither emergency or urgent so I disclosed that and asked about the form. I also asked if the office had any recommendations for detoxing from the x-ray exposure I anticipated that day. Staff was kind and answered my questions to the best of their ability. I waited for the appointment. Then Dr. Eager himself came out and told me he wouldn't treat me because he was uncomfortable with my questions. I asked for further explanation. He ultimately said he didn't like the "vibe" of me asking these questions and walked away. I don't understand how asking questions about the office forms or health can be considered a bad vibe by a dentist. But, that is what happened and I was refused treatment. Therefore, If you are considering it, I'd think twice before going to this dentist office. I witnessed two other patients passing through the lobby unhappily too but I don't know their stories. read more

Worst experience I've ever had with a Dentist. He left me on nitrous for 1.5 hrs without even checking on me. He hit a nerve and caused me severe nerve pain for 2 weeks without even calling me back for several days to see how I was doing. My bone is still poking out from the root canal he pulled and he tried to tell me this is normal! He's way overbooked and doesn't do a thorough job. His receptionist Jaz is extremely RUDE, unhelpful, and uncompassionate. I highly suggest going elsewhere! I went here because he calls himself biological. There's nothing special or protective about anything he does. He is not a certified biological dentist. Don't be fooled! read more

I travel from Utah County to Gateway Oral Health in St. George for my dental care. I appreciate the attention given to my overall health and how it relates to my oral health. I struggle with severe dry mouth and Dr. Eagar is the first dentist that has taken a serious look at what might be the underlying issues. He and his hygienist, Heidi, have given me great ideas that have really made a difference in my ability to manage the problem. I also really like the extended time Dr. Eagar allows for cleaning appointments. Cleanings at my past dental office had minimal time allotted and were very rushed. Heidi is an excellent hygienist. She is friendly, kind and extremely gentle, yet very thorough. Dr. Eagar's staff are so friendly and helpful. They make a great team! I will continue to travel the distance for my dental care! read more

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU STRUGGLE WITH DENTAL FEAR OR ANXIETY!!!!! They do not accommodate that and consider it a "bad attitude." Again....Not a safe place for people who are uncomfortable at the dentist I went into this office curious about Biological Dentistry and went to get an old filling looked at that hurts from time to time and info on all my old amalgam fillings. I was interested what a "Biological Dentist" would say. At first impression I was underwhelmed by the condition of the office (dingy) and the entire laptop they handed me to balance on my lap to fill out paperwork (couldn't read the small writing). I was willing to look past those two things, just to see what a biological dentist was all about. The front desk girls were nice and the dental assistant was nice as well. The problem arose when she was asking me way too many personal questions and kept PUSHING me to answer questions, even after I gave short answers hoping she'd pick up the hint that I wasn't in a place where I could converse very much . She even asked about my siblings -I'm a 45 yr old women. Why is she so uncomfortable with someone being quiet during an appointment that she has to ask about my siblings -TWICE! When I realized she was not able to read the room I (as POLITELY as I possibly could) told her about the anxiety I was experiencing and that I could not really talk because I struggle at the dentist and the best thing for me was to be able to focus on my breathing and that I just needed to be quiet. I told her I was sorry and that I wasn't trying to be a b**ch. She THANKED ME and said she totally understood. I told her thank you and she finished up her x-rays. Evidently she ran to the dentist and told him that I had an "attitude." Because after he gave me an assessment (no work needed/said I take great care of my teeth) the Dentist said because of my "attitude" he would not take me on as a client. This dentist and staff had ZERO regard for dental anxiety and quite honestly the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. He said I had an attitude after I told his dental assistant I was struggling. Think about that! Do they not have training in that area? Wow. Not being "accepted" was totally fine with me. I already knew I wasn't switching from my regular dentist (who I like very much) until I find a capable Biological Dentist. Eagar didn't offer any new info or different perspective -even though he's supposed to be a "Biological Dentist." Someone can learn more from following any number of Biological dentists on Instagram than what I paid for in office today. **He encouraged me to leave in all my old amalgam fillings!!!! I was shocked. Don't waste your time here. There's newer, cleaner and better places to go in Saint George and better Biological dentists that aren't too far away. They have ZERO regard for people who are anxious about getting dental work, especially if you don't act all chipper while having a panick attack. Lol. *if you're new to the area looking for a dentist Platinum dental, Common Sense dentistry and Riverside dental are all great! Good luck! read more

I recently had an abscess in my upper jaw that was very painful. When I contacted Dr. Eagar's office, they scheduled me for the next available opening. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the most pleasant and kind front office staff! They were each very nice and made me feel at ease. Next, the imaging was quick and simple. Then, the assistant made sure I was comfortable... What really was important was the fact that Dr. Eagar took the time to explain my situation and discuss all options. I was impressed by his honesty. The only thing I felt was 2 tiny injections to numb the area. From the extraction of a broken molar to the bone graft, and closing sutures, I did not feel a single thing! That's why I want to share my excellent experience! Hats off to everyone at Gateway! read more

Dr. Eagar is very professional and courteous. I have my dental work done in his office and he has been extremely helpful in getting my dental appliance made to fit perfectly.
