Although I have to admit some jokes are a little corny, but they are still fun and the kids keep on laughing. I thought it was a good overall performance. My kids were engaged the whole time and they laughed throughout the show. I don't know the cost or how far he travels, but I am considering him for one of our kids' events. This party was in the east bay but I see that he is usually based in South Bay.

Our Woodside-based equestrian group, Los Viajeros, hired Spencer to entertain us at our campout in the middle of "nowhere". He had no hesitation agreeing to the job and braved a rather difficult narrow dirt road to put on his show at Jack Brook Horse Camp in Sam MacDonald Park. Everyone was blown away by his energy and his mix of comedy and magic. He was playing to an adult Bay Area crowd who were fairly tired from camping and riding in hot weather and he had everyone laughing and happily participating. Spencer has a magical way of engaging with all ages. His energy is infectious. No one at the party wanted his show to end and could have watched him for at least another hour. Afterwards the guests kept coming up to me asking where I found him. He was easy to connect with and apologized for a small delay in returning one of my emails-he was working so it was absolutely ok, but by being aware that one may be nervous about keeping in contact he made me feel completely at ease. First off big thank you to Spencer Grey for an amazing show and his wonderful professionalism. I'm new to Yelp and began using it to find an entertainer for a family event I had coming up. Found several magicians on here with great reviews but all seemed to be garden variety entertainers with not much originality. His show is of a modern style with great tricks, comedy, and showmanship. He had several family friends and relatives ask for his information so I'm sure this will not be the last time I get to see his show.
