I have been going to this cleaners for many years. Today I went to pick up some clothes. I pulled up to the sliding doors and for 5 minutes no one came to help me. I did a quick honk of my horn, waited and still no one came. I got out, opened the sliding door, and said loudly "Hello". Someone responded "Yes" ( or something like that) but still no one came. I walked to the front door, waited, no one came. I said "Hello" again, no one came. I walked to the other side of the shop, said "Hello" again. Everyone I saw continued working in the back. I said "Hello" again, and a lady saw me, continued working for a second, then came up to help me. I told her that if they had no one working the front to help people, I would not come back. She said (not friendly), "Sorry, I have to work in the back." She game me my clothes, and again I told her that I have been coming here for 20 years and will not come again. read more

I always am satisfied with my pickups here. I even get tips on cleaning sometimes when I drop things off. Prices are right.

Store is ran very poorly. Clothes constantly get misplaced and staff always seem to have trouble with their computer system. It causes issues with the credit card machines, and printers. Store is always dirty looking. read more

This is an amazing cleaners. I dropped off 5 blouses for my wife. They checked them in and quickly rang me up. They have a $10 minimum charge. If your bill comes in less they will still charge you the minimum but the will carry the charge till your next visit. This is the 3rd time I have used their service and I have been extremely pleased each time. I will be back! B read more

So while the there are 500 million signs that say Face Masks Required, one can only assume this refers only to patrons. I popped some new items in to use my credit on file(bright spot: my credit was in the system so I did not need to keep my receipt as previously stated by the young woman who checked me out). The items totaled approximately the amount, though I had a few cents left over that were not mentioned. My drop off was pleasant. The lady who helped me advised of the credit on file after I tried to provide her with the receipt I was told to hold on to. My pickup was concerning. Neither of the ladies working this evening 01/18/2021, were wearing the "required mask" as indicated by the sign. I sat in my car for a few minutes so as to make them aware that a customer was in the parking lot so mask up, but that did not help. I walked in with MY mask which prompted the lady who assisted me to grab hers. The other girl just looked and continued her work in the front, maskless. I was skeptical about returning after my initial visit. Now I KNOW that Spencer Cleaners is not for me. Public health is important. I gave a two for my drop off. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I brought my husband's pants in to get rehemmed for a wedding this weekend (he's a groomsman). I was assured they would be ready by 5pm on Friday. I went today (Saturday) to pick them up and the teenager that was helping came back over and said to come back MONDAY. I told her "no I have to have them today." She goes and talks to the man doing alterations and then she comes back and says "okay come get them today after 5pm." We are leaving town today for the wedding so I told her no I need them now. She argued with me saying they weren't done and I told her I didn't care I need them now. She brought them back to me and walked off. Didn't say a word. No apology or anything! AWFUL customer service!!! I will never be using them again. read more

Found a button ripped off of a pair of pants after having them dry cleaned. Took the pants back for repair, and was told there is no way they could have caused the damage. Obviously, customer service is not a priority, and they think so little of their clientele that they assume we would lie in order to get an inexpensive repair for free. read more

I've been going here for a while and I noticed that my shirts were shrinking or my arms just keep getting longer. I asked if they were sure they were being dry cleaned and they said absolutley. Yet it continued so I brought a brand new shirt in there to be dry cleaned. After taking it in there 5 times as an experiment the shirt shrunk about an inch and half in the arms. I think they are being laundered but charging for dry clean. I've started going somewhere else and the problem is gone. read more

I've had different degrees of service here. For alterations, such as moving buttons, the work has not been of the greatest quality. Getting shirts and pants dry cleaned here is a pretty good deal. There was one instance where I needed to bring the shirt back to be cleaned again. The shirt came out great the second time around. I learned that if you let them know where you might have tough stains, they will mark it and direct more attention there. I recently had a designer shirt with a stained collar and brought it in. They marked it and when I picked it up, the shirt was stainless! read more

We used this dry cleaners because of convenience. We've had some hiccups but overlooked. December we took bedding from Ashley's to be dry cleaned and they shrunk the comforter and decorator pillows. We gave them the opportunity to stretch, didn't work. Then they promised to make good but it's been 4 months and we keep getting the run around. One set of cleaning they lost for a whole year. Guess this will be going to small claims court. read more

We had been using Spencer Cleaners for a couple of years. There would be the occasional oops where the service did not meet expectations, but those were worked thru. Last week's pick up included a shirt that had four spots that were not there when we dropped it off. We returned it to have the problem rectified. We also dropped a couple of other shirts. When we returned to pickup, the first shirt was in exactly the same condition it was when we dropped it off the 2nd time. One of the other shirts was returned to us with a stain that did not exist when we dropped it off. The counter person was not interested in taking the necessary steps to mitigate the issues. Looks like we will be looking for a new cleaner. read more

AWFUL! I shouldn't have given them a second chance. I don't know if they've switched owners but the people there now are not friendly whatsoever. The time before last, my clothes came back smelling like they left it wet for a week before drying it. Every item of clothing smelt like mold. I chalked it up to a one time mistake and didn't complain. This last time, one of my expensive jackets was missing the zipper. A whole zipper. And of course I didn't notice until I got home and went to put it on. I brought it back in hopes that they found the missing zipper because any other zipper wouldn't match the jacket as a whole. The left me waiting then came back to tell me they can't find it, it's not their responsibility, and that regardless of the condition of my clothes when I bring it in to get cleaned, whatever condition it's in after is not their responsibility. Since they clearly don't know how to do business, I'm not going to give them mine. read more

I had been taking our company vests there for quite some time and the day before Thanksgiving I drove in right behind a truck. They serviced the truck customer but when I pulled up to the window a different girl came out and said they were closed. I explained that the truck and I pulled in at the same time and the girl even noticed me and didn't say anything and kept me waiting behind the truck. They apparently closed at 2pm and I noticed it was 2:03 pm as I asked for the manager. He was rude, said they were closed and didn't seem to care about what happened. So obviously if the manager doesn't know how to treat good customers then he has one less customer. read more

We've been taking our uniforms there every week for the past three years but over the last three months the service has gone down and the prices have gone up. The final straw came when they charged me 5.50 per pair of pants because they had cat hair. read more

We've been taking our dry cleaning here for many years. We always ask for my husbands shirts to be dry cleaned without creases on the cuff. Over the years, many shirts have been returned with the collar buttons either missing or ripped off, leaving a hole. In addition, we were always charged for the repair of the hole. Though not charged to sew on a new button, we ran out of the extra buttons provided on the shirts many times, resulting in needing to find buttons off of other shirts that would match (my husband buys the same brand of shirts). However, the most recent dry cleaning pick up had huge holes under the arms of both sleeves on one of the shirts and previous hole repair at a collar button ripped so large that it could not be repaired. After talking with the management, they said I would need to provide the little blue tags to prove they had actually cleaned the shirts. I went home, retrieved the tags, took them back up there and was told that the shirt must be defective and their records indicated we had only had one repair and had been a customer only since 2016. We've used their services since at least 2012. After essentially being accused of lying, I took my last two ruined shirts, out of at least half a dozen other ruined shirts, and left their establishment. The convenience they provide certainly doesn't override being called a liar or getting your expensive dress shirts ruined multiple times. read more
