Just found this place for first time. Friendly and professional staff. When I told them it was my first time, they did a quick overview of services, hours, special time requests, and drive through. They do all their services (except alterations) in-house. Prices were fair and turnaround time was satisfactory. Had several nice shirts and a special little fur hat. If I could I would give negative stars. My husband gave one of my pre-wedding events outfit to this dry cleaner and they ruined my dress. They not only cut my outfit but ruined all my feather hangings. I told the owner but he got defensive and started yelling at me. Was kind of worried because of previous reviews, but those seem to be old and out of date. So, down to the brass tacks: Super nice staff. They take good care of your garments and have never let me down. I happened to meet the owners and they were very personable and kind. Recently brought my suit in for a wedding and it was perfect. I have to dry clean my uniform for work all the time. However, I wouldn't never go back here. They were able to clean two of my three pieces on time, but they couldn't finish my jacket. DO NOT GO TO THIS CLEANERS!! I had 8 items for them to clean and after picking up a day after they were scheduled to be ready they tell me one of my items isn't ready and to pick up tomorrow. The manager was rude as hell and I asked her to give them to me as is and and she said "I'm not going to stop my washers"! These are my clothes but they wouldn't give them to me. After letting her know I was going out of town and I needed my items, she said come back in an hour!! Will NEVER return to this establishment. Oh and they ask for cell number for drop off, but no one would call me to say the cleaning wasn't ready! So frustrating! read more

My rating is based on price and information. I am used to a "pay up front" dry cleaners. My first (and last time) at this facility, I was provided ample information on pickup times, drive-thru and what they perform in house versus not. When I asked if I needed a printed ticket to pick-up, I was told I did not need it, but they could give me one if I wanted to wait. My gut told me at that time it was going to be on the higher price side. Sure enough, when I picked up 21 items later, a mix of regular shirts, a few polos, one sweater, nothing fancy, I paid $135. I tried this location because we moved closer. But I will be returning to my previous dry cleaners where the same items cost less than $75. Who I assume is the owner was pleasant enough, however I cannot help but speculate the fact that the price was withheld intentionally. He offered up so much information about all other services, but not the price. I should have asked as well. When I picked up, he said that they had been in business 25 years, which I don't doubt. I just feel like they have become comfortable charging "convenience" prices versus genuinely offering the best deal to their customers. Perhaps they are not forced into a position to have to be competitive because of the location. This may be the place to go for some, but not me. read more

Terrible at alterations. I took my purse in to have the zipper replaced. They replaced the zipper on my gray purse with a brown zipper. The zipper was stitched in so closely that every time I moved the zipper it would catch the lining inside. I took it back and explained this, and asked them to fix it with a gray zipper. Weeks later I go to pick it up. Not only is the zipper still brown, they didn't even fix it. All they did was stitch the inner lining, I guess in theory to stop the zipper from getting stuck. So now it's going to be even harder for someone else to fix. On top of it all they charged $37 for a terrible service. I gave them a chance to fix it and they made it worse. read more

No major problems with the cheaper service but my clothes were noticeably better cared for and ironed. I read a negative review which got me to write my positive review. With regards to regular laundry and dry cleaning services, these guys are definitely on top of their game. Reasonably priced, great location, friendly service; no issues thus far over the last six months since I've gone to them. I have had no need for any sort of alterations, so I cannot comment on that aspect of Phoenix Cleaners, but they are great when it comes to laundry and dry cleaning services they have provided over the last six months. Outrageous! 10 pieces tops and jeans nothing special $45.24!!!! When I dropped off my clothes they asked what day I preferred to pick them up. Not worth it really doesn't matter because if you want starch/sizing in your denim jeans it takes extra time! When I expressed how expensive they were and I was unhappy having to come back agin a day later than profanely planned to pick them up the lady said "thanks for trying us". Really that's it? Friendly customer service, but the prices are weird. I had a knee length dress and a knee length dress coat. The price for dresses said 4.99 and up and the price for coats said 8.99 and up. The lady said I would be charged 9.99 for the dress and 18.99 for the coat. She said the price for the coat was based on the length and because it had buttons. LOL! So apparently the only way you get the price on the sign is if you bring baby clothes with no buttons. Otherwise you're looking at at least double the price per item, if not more. read more

I visited this dry cleaners for the first time last week and dropped of four items, including a new Tory Burch blouse that I paid $250 for on sale last month. The attendant explained that the blouse was a "special care" item, with which I agreed, and assured me that the item would be well cared for. I was appalled when I picked up the blouse and noticed that THREE of the Tory Burch logo buttons were missing. The buttons are the distinguishing part of the blouse and the reason I purchased it. I asked to speak to the manager, who immediately pushed blame elsewhere (i.e. "the buttons were not sewn on properly") and said she would try to find the buttons. No offer to reimburse me a portion of the purchase price. No offer to refund the money I paid to dry clean my items. If this is the treatment one receives as a first time customer, I can hardly imagine the kind of treatment one might expect as a regular customer. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

After picking up my order, I open the bag and see one of the shirts is torn in two places. I took it back the next day and they suggested that deodorant breaks down fabrics and that might be why it ripped. The tears weren't in the arm pit and the shirt has only been worn a half dozen times. In twenty years of having clothes dry cleaned, I have never had a ripped shirt and if something was damaged, There should be a note on the bag. Worst customer service ever!! Brought my wool coat in to be cleaned. I needed it for a trip. They shrunk it. The owner tried to "fix it" twice. She refused to give me the $28.00 back for the dry cleaning. She yelled at me and argued with me. That is how you are treated if some thing goes wrong there. Stopped in to ask if they cleaned outdoor patio cushions and, asked questions like... dry cleaning won't hurt the cushions? Will it hurt the Sunbrella fabric? Answere... "No, No, No problem... they will be fine." The cost, $24. $24. and $22. Thought this was quite high but, figured they would be professionally cleaned and look as good as new when I got them back. WRONG! When I picked them up they were semi adequately cleaned but, the insides were bumpy and lumpy. Talked with owner, explained how the gentleman who I talked with said that there would be no problem. She said, "oh no, you run the risk of this because they have to go through the machines." That was never conveyed to me whatsoever. One cushion, in particular, was very buckled inside. She said she would take it apart and fix the inside and sew it back together and it would look like new, "no problem." (again) I had to pay for the first two cushions, and could pick up the other one when it was done. Two days later went to pick it up (thinking in my head, she shurley wouldn't charge me), it was better, but still lumpy. Expressed to owner again how unacceptable this was and that I couldn't believe that she wouldn't, at least, give me a discount. Nope, no discount. Smiled at me and said, she's "sorry" as she charged the ridiculously high prices in the first place. Told her that I will never be back, and everyone I know woulodn't either. So, I'm stuck with some lumpy cushions... Never go there! read more
