Customer service needs serious improvement…read more While the vehicle itself is great, the customer service experience was disappointing. Tyler Ramirez was quick and helpful in some areas, but came across as overly aggressive when explaining the total cost. His tone felt more confrontational than helpful. Courtney in the finance department started off great, but when we politely declined certain warranties due to cost concerns, her demeanor shifted dramatically. She responded with an attitude and unprofessional comments, saying things like: "I don't see why you would want to go without a... warranty." This was said in a rude, dismissive tone, despite us being polite and simply asking reasonable questions. Additional issues: We were never provided with our financing paperwork at the time of purchase. We were told it would be emailed, but it's now been two days with nothing received. Attempts to contact the finance department have been unsuccessful. When we brought up our concern about misaligned or uneven headlights, we were told all vehicles come that way because they're "human made," which felt like a dismissive excuse rather than a proper explanation. After experiences with several other dealerships, this one unfortunately ranks at the bottom in terms of professionalism and service. I would not recommend this location and would rather work with a different Toyota dealership in the future.

Left the car for two days for these services to be completed. When I picked up the car, odor was only thing resolved. Car had not been cleaned and dent not addressed. Service rep stated they had no information about the dent but could have easily repaired if they had known. I could not leave the car longer due to the fact that I live out of state and had to return home. The salesman Jon Fortenbury stated the spare tire installation kit could not be obtained that quickly but that he would have it done at a dealership in my home state. We continued to have ongoing texts regarding the status of this over 3 months each time he stated it was on its way. Finally I called the sales manager Norman. He informed me that Jon was no longer with the company but that he would look into this and call back. I have now left two more phone messages for him that n a weekly basis with no response. I only gave two stars because the service department was exceptionally professional. I do not recommend buying from the dealership as they do not stand by their agreements and avoid customer service follow ups.

For the past months we've been tracking pricing on new Kia Soul vehicles to gauge the right time to trade our 2013 Soul. Earlier this week I shopped electronically at all my usual suspect dealers from in the region from Houston to Baton Rouge. Then fortunately we ended our search at Classic Kia in Beaumont, in spite of my misguided bias about better pricing at the big town dealers. And I am so very happy to have dealt with Classic! Shelby was our contact person and guide at Classic. He and I had started the deal earlier online as Shelby furnished to me several choices of new in-stock Kia Soul models. In the meantime, I found some pricing backup from Consumer Reports. So having chosen the car we wanted, loaded with backup data, my wife and I went over the Classic Kia location, met with Shelby and eventually with Eric, his boss. And cousin. Shelby was most engaging and refreshingly quirky as we hammered out the pricing issues. We eventually agreed to a deal after an epic round or two of negotiating and arm-wrestling. Our deal was the best I had seen based on pricing quotes I had gathered from a bunch of regional dealers! And right here in our home town, don'cha know? And I was so impressed the with comfortable design of the showrooms and offices. In short, the layout of the sales floor plus the engaging and knowledgeable sales staff made for the most professional car-buying experience I have ever encountered. These guys have been to the county fair a couple of times and truly know what they are doing!

It stated "MSRP INCLUDING OPTIONS" but this WAS NOT TRUE! When I signed papers, $3,450 had been added ON TOP OF THE PRICE for a Classic Protection Pkg. This was NOT REFLECTED IN THE PRICE ON THE STICKER and was for more options that I did not ask for: Ceramic coating, Interior Protection (?), Wheels Locks and installation (which I will return), 4 Oil Changes and 4 Tire rotations (I WILL NOT USE). In addition, I WAS NOT TOLD they added a 5 year Insurance Policy (without my knowledge) from a company called Ally for $1,150! I will file a complaint about this. I was not provided a copy of the contract, etc., for 23 days! I called several times for the papers, but to no avail. The only reason I found out the $1,150 insurance policy was added to the price was when I got copies of the documents 23 days later! When I drove off the lot, I was not aware that all 4 tires only had 27 PSI. The front tires should have 35 and the rear should have 33. I have NO CONFIDENCE in their Service Department. There is more... I was contacted by the Finance Manager as a result of my negative responses to their Survey. NOTHING was resolved. I told him the ONLY bright spot of the whole transaction was dealing with Jasmin, the Sales Rep. He said she would be the only one negatively affected by my Survey comments and suggested I fill out a new Survey (Blackmail?). All I want is a partial refund of the $3,450 added to the sticker price for the Classic Protection package I did not want. I will be returning the Wheel Locks and I WILL NEVER BRING the car to the Classic Kia Dealership for the 4 oil changes and 4 tire rotations. Since I am 76, I honestly feel they intentionally took advantage of me.

I will never go back to even discuss buying a car wiht them, in fact I will never even deal with any kia dealership again, this was the first time I ever looked at a Kia car in my life and it will be the last time. I have never dealt with such crooked scam artist and total assholes in all my life. I'd avoid them and deal with a real car dealership that knows how to do business like professionals not like kids.

**DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!**…read more I purchased my vehicle and traveled down from Dallas to pick it up. The low tire pressure sensor came on within an hour of leaving the dealership. I stopped to fill up the tire, not thinking much of it. After driving for another hour, the sensor came back on. I had been in the car for 10 hours when I got home (5 hours there and 5 hours back). Upon inspecting the tires, I noticed that one tire had recently been patched, and bubbles were coming from the area. (Note: the most common way to check for air leaks is to apply soapy water to the area and check for bubbles). This was done by the dealer. It was too late in the day for me to take the car in for a new tire, so I went to bed. The following day, the tire was completely flat. My new (used) car has four-wheel drive, and the other tires have about 10% tread left. With one tire completely damaged, I didn't want to replace just that tire and leave the others, especially since it's a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Less than 24 hours after purchasing the car, I found myself getting four new tires at the shop. Yes, I understand that three tires didn't necessarily need replacing, but I wouldn't have been in this situation if they hadn't sold me a car with a poorly patched tire. Things got even worse when I informed the dealership about the situation. The car salesman, Carlos, showed no sympathy and immediately shifted the blame to me. He claimed that the service department did not patch the tire and suggested that the bubbles were remnants from when the car was detailed as if I were clueless. Really? Does the detail shop clean the center of the tire? What a joke. They knew about the issue; otherwise, bubbles wouldn't have come from the patch. Carlos also mentioned that the car was perfectly fine while parked at the dealership. Let's assume that's true--driving two hundred miles on a tire is entirely different from it sitting in a parking lot. The patch might not have been an issue initially, but the movement and pressure from driving likely compromised the seal around the patch due to poor installation. All they had to do was say, "We are so sorry about your experience. How can we make it right?" Paying for new tires isn't a problem for me. However, the ridiculous excuse about detailing and shifting the blame to a customer shows the character of those who operate this dealership. I cannot stress enough that you should STEER CLEAR of this dealership and take your business elsewhere!
