Very friendly service. Never have an issue with whoever is working. But I was just there and there were several customers blatantly not wearing masks (did not see one on their faces) near the soda machine and saw several bringing in their own cups for refills (one had a Big Gulp cup). While I will still get gas there, I'm going to think twice about going inside unless necessary. If they aren't going to enforce their own policy of no cups for refills, I'm not going to risk my health. read more

This is one of the closest gas stations to me so I come here quite frequently. They have a lot of pumps which is nice because you never have to wait. The prices are usually always some of the cheapest around town outside of HEB gas which I never use based on a mechanic's recommendation. They have a Subway and a Mexican restaurant inside and a pretty good selection of drinks and snacks. They also have an iced machine which is great for the kids in the summer time. They have a great car wash for $5 and free vacuums to use in the back which is awesome. They also are part of Plenti which every Exxon is so you can get rewards like a few dollars off gas every once in awhile which is a bonus. read more

Car wash only: I chose the $9 car wash, vs the standard $5 one. The trees over my driveway are lovely, except for all the birds wreaking havoc on my truck!! Sometimes I can't keep up with washing my truck off, so one morning, after getting bombed over night, I came in here to rinse the shit (pun intended) off. I like that it's not "touchless"! You enter, put it in neutral, and the chain guides you through. It's got rollers and high pressure water. I had 2 small spots that didn't come clean, but the rest was a solid wash! Free vacuums, supposed to be for car wash customers only, had plenty of power, and there is a trash can at every one. I had no intention of cleaning out my truck.... but I did! Lol Will I be back? Never had an issue here. This is the main place that I get fuel and a vehicle wash. They do offer a variety of items inside as most convenience stores do. They do offer the Texas Pecan coffee which is one of my favorites. They also have a Subway inside which is a great place to grab a sandwich as well as a Tacos Frescos which is a great place to grab breakfast tacos or burritos. The fuel prices are generally competitive and the car wash prices are reasonable. The car wash isn't the greatest but it does a fair job. For those who complain about it, if you want better, then wash your vehicle yourself as it's an automatic car wash which isn't perfect. They do offer a bug scrub area which has brushes and chemically treated water in a 55 gallon trash can so you can get the bugs off your mirrors, windshield and grill before you drive thru the car wash. This is free of charge whether you use the car wash or not. The store is generally clean and the staff is always friendly. Sometimes when I stop by early in the morning (4:30am) I'll get a free coffee. I'm not sure if they're just giving it to me as I'm a senior, or if it's because of my veteran cap that I wear. Either way, it is greatly appreciated and it's one of the main reasons that I do a majority of my business here for fuel and vehicle washes on both my personal vehicle as well as my work truck. read more

You can get almost anything here your heart desires, like a new purse. If you are in to rhinestone studded fake crocodile jesus crosses purses. Frames, calling cards to mexico, amazing breakfast tacos and subway. All in one place. If this place had apartments above you'd technically never have to leave. The car wash is the reason you see me here every two weeks. It's $5 if you didn't get gas ($3 if you did) and it's one of those long ones that pulls your car through hands free while you write your draft yelp review on your iPhone. And then it spits you out at a long line of free powerful vacuums with huge trash cans to throw the kids fries that have been sitting under their seats for two weeks away. The employee then came out and started messing with my car without my permission and forced me to continue through the car wash. As I continue, the car wash did more damage to my car. Once I was through I went to talk to the employee. He blamed me. He tried to keep the part of my car the machine ripped off. I gave him my information and said is manager would call me. They did not. I am in Round Rock about once per week for work, and I stopped here to grab something to drink. $3 car wash? No gas purchase necessary? I am sold, and ready to roll up my sleeves to get this car (which I purchased almost brand-new and then proceeded to neglect for 10 months) clean. Honestly, not so much out of laziness but out of a general dislike for the combination of cars, needing quarters to clean cars, and well, heat. But...this amazing deal on services is enough to have me sweating in the heat of the day. The car wash was thorough. As I pulled my driver's side tire into the track, I realized, that, not only was there an attendant to guide me along, motioning to me to move forward as I read the sign: "hands off wheel," "foot off brake," and "car in neutral," all with the appropriate graphic icons to illustrate the commands, but that i was about to get a pretty good car wash for three dollars...big burly mop-headed brushes and all. Suds, brush, rinse and power dry..the car wash was over. On to the free vacuums. Are you skeptical when you hear that? "Free vacuums" ? So was I, but these vacuums were so powerful that I feared I might accidentally let my hair get involved, as I struggled to rearrange the clutter and handle the powerful cleaning machine that was all mine, for as long as I needed it. This place consistently has the rudest female staff that I have ever encountered. The location is very convenient when I am visiting friends yet every time I have been inside to get my weekly lottery tickets I always swear I will never return. I would enjoy a nice big lottery win but do not want this store or its management to get any sort of bonus as a result. Never again. THIS PART OF MY REVIEW IF FOR THE CAR WASH SECTION OF THE SPEEDY STOP ONLY. Later I will add a review below of the store itself in all its disgruntled employee glory. PART 1. - The car wash...... Let it be known, the ONLY reason I gave this wash 2 stars, and not 1, is because my truck was clean when I exited the backside. It did a fine job washing the dust of my truck, so I don't know how good a job it would do on an actually dirty vehicle, as mine was just covered in a thick layer of dust and pollen for a few weeks and it was bothering me. I probably could have done that myself in 10 minutes with a water hose in my driveway but I have MS, so being out in 100f+ weather doing anything halfway strenuous is out of the question. Now that I told you the good I found in this place, allow me to let you know the reason for not giving them any more yellow squares. I paid for my ticket with a credit card at the kiosk so I didn't need to walk inside the store(that's another positive I forgot to mention, those with disability's will like the fact you don't need to get out to pay) and I drove up to the start of the wash, only to be greeted by a young black guy with a real shitty attitude. I didn't realize he had a shitty attitude till I rolled down my window and asked him if he wouldn't mind removing the antenna off my truck, I usually do it myself but I completely forgot till I pulled up to him, and most car washes with attendants will ask you if you want them to remove it anyways, due to the fact washes like this can, and do bend and or break off metal antennas all the time. Anyways, I asked him that, and he just silently stared at me like I told him I was on my way to a Klan rally. I mean a weird "I hate you" kinda stare, that LITERALLY lasted a good 15 seconds, if you don't think that's weird, stare at anything and slowly count to 15, it was a long while.. so I said, "Never mind, is it ok if I jump out real quick and take it off myself"? He said "yea", but then I realized I was already on the contraption that pulls your car along the tracks and inside the wash. Then.. Me: "can you make this stop so I can get out" Him: "just put on your brakes" At this point I assumed he meant set my parking brake and that would keep the rollers from pushing my truck inside while I got out of my truck to do his job. So I set my parking brakes and opened my door to get out. Guess what that does? Makes the fucking roller slip under your rear tire and make a bump and a lot of noise like the whole thing is coming off the tracks. So I slammed my door shut and asked him WTF? Him: "I meant the other brake...." I was confused by this so we sat another 15-20 seconds in silence. Me: " So how in the hell, am I supposed to hold my brake down and get out at the same time to remove the antenna on the outside off my truck" That is when the homeless/disheveled and dirty looking guy, tells me.. Him:"look, you gotta wait for the space between the rollers to come around." I've never worked one single day of my life at a car wash, I never knew that the rollers had a gap someplace between them along the line that was long enough to give someone time to jump out and remove an antenna. Yet this asshole acted like that was just common knowledge and I was there just to interrupt the weed smoking going on inside the office. Well, I managed to get out of my truck with my own pair of pliers(I forgot to mention how he threw me some real nasty looks when I asked if he had some pliers I could borrow real quick, then told me he didn't have any, then half ass pretended to ask if they had any, then I just said fuck it and found my own pliers back in my toolbox) I know I'm not the only person that removes the antenna or has ever asked them for pliers, every single drive through wash with big brushes in it I have ever used, always ask if you want them to remove the antenna. Anyways... I took it off myself, jumped back in and went through the wash, thinking to myself. Self: "damn I'm glad that's over with, at least I can use the vacuums at the end to clean the inside real good in peace" This was around 4:30pm, I don't know what time they close but it's way after 5pm I know... BUT, I pulled into a stall, but before I could even get out to put my antenna back on, much less use the vacuums... some kid came around and snatched my hose off the machine, then proceeds to remove all the damn vacuums.. again, I was like WTF?! I used to be the kinda guy that would get out and end up in a fist fight with every employee at this place, but instead I just said fuck it and drove home. I'm glad someone opened that other big wash down on Sunrise, because I won't ever be using this car wash ever again. STAY TUNED FOR MY REVIEW OF THE STORE ITSELF. read more

This guy was a thin African American male at the register close to the subway. i went to check out the cashier was rude and unprofessional. i would rather pay 4 times more for gas at another gas station then return to this location, the guys name was James L. he just stood stared at me then continued talking to his coworkers joking around inappropriately, i greeted him, no response so i asked if he was opened he just shook his head up and down, he continued talking to his coworkers he just ingored me, he didn't greet me or say thank you for coming he just took my transactions and continued chatting, i said have a great day. he didn't even bother to say anything worse customer service, i come here at least once a day other days i stop by a few times. read more

Do you need a quick rinse on your vehicle? Look no more and come to Speedy Stop! I've been here a few times to get the $5 car wash. A month ago I bought a brand new car and now I'm obsessed with it looking good and being clean. For a $5 wash it does the trick. It's not going to be immaculate and spotless clean but it makes your car look a little bit nicer than when you first arrived. You don't have to get a gas in order to get a wash. There's an easy automated machine where you make your selection and pay right there. There's an attendant that will guide you and make sure you're inline with the track. Then you put your car in neutral, take your foot of the brake and the steering wheel. Once you've been through the wash whip around and get your car vacuumed free or included with your wash. However you want to think about it. Honestly that's the main reason why I go for the $5 wash. I have a dog and he get to enjoy car rides often and he always leaves hair everywhere. This isn't your rinky dink vacuum either. This is your legit suction power hose vacuums. I haven't done the mid or the high tier car wash but I'm sure it would get my car cleaned up a little better. While I enjoy the rewards, the friendly faces and the convenience of the location...I will NEVER enter into the car wash at any of their locations anymore. The inner office communication concerning my vehicle from the management on up to the "claims dept" was poor. I was in the car wash with another vehicle, my vehicle began vibrating very bad. The car wash then came to a complete stop...it shut down. It came back up moments later. I didnt think nothing of it until I got to church the next day and looked at my rims. In the same location on every rim is the same scuff marks. I filled a report, finally there weeks later a lady called me and said we determined that those marks were already there and are more than likely curb marks! REALLY? On all four rims? What kinda curb was that? Lol I went to their site and complained. This time someone contacted me sooner. This gentleman's exact words were "As far as we're concerned the claim is closed" they sent me the picture's of me entering the car wash and guess what?? The marks I'm talking about are NOT there. I asked the lady to compare those photos to the ones the kid took with my report. She said she will pass the message...I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING ELSE. Seems weird to review a convenience store, but there are some that are nicer than others - and we all need petrol at times. This one has a bunch of pumps, three entrances/exits, and a plethora of beverage options. Subway, Taco stand, and quick grab and go entrees are inside, too. I come to this car wash about once a week. It's cheap and the offer free vacuums. I always vacuum before I wash as to not get dirt back onto my washed car! Today the inside of my SUV had dirt in the back. I pulled around to the vacuums like always when a big dude approached my car acting all security officer on me... Said you can vacuum before you wash.
