It was a pleasure meeting with Ronni. She is nice and very friendly. I am sure that I will come back to this place, if I can.

I have been using speedy cash for YEARS. Paid in full today and WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Writing one more bad review to add to there big file of unhappy clients. Some workers are not friendly customers read more

Not speedy at all. The attendant spent over 20 minutes processing the paperwork needed which wasn't my issue. My issue is I didn't receive the services I came for. In the end she didn't cash it due to the type of check. Although I called ahead of time to ensure they could cash this type of check, she ended up saying they can't cash it. Wasted my whole lunch hour and didn't even receive the service I came for. Very frustrating and disappointing. Won't be returning. read more

Stacie is the best. She always professional and greets customers with a smile always. The store is always nice and tidy, all ladies are wonderful read more

I had a really good experience at Speedy Cash. Daisy helped me out, and she was honestly great. She was patient, explained everything in a way that made sense, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. It just felt easy and comfortable. Really appreciate her help. Daisy and the team. If you are reading this. You guys are fabulous! read more

I not one to write reviews, but I must say, the staff is really friendly. And a special thanks to Ronni, who is very kind and happy demeanor is very contagious. Thank you for you help. I'm grateful read more

Susan was Awesome!!! She helped me from walk-in to leaving with what I needed for. I had an amazing time with the staff everyone was comical and loved compliments. I give this location a 10 of 10 THANK YOU LADIES!! read more

Great employees and got approved quickly for a payday loan and they gave my daughter a little kangaroo so cute!

Yesi was amazing! Such a big help from beginning to end definitely made our experience go super smoothly and fast! Definitely will be coming back :) read more

Was a new customer and filled out all the paperwork. I was told they need to verify my place of work. I gave them the # and even after talking to payroll they still couldn't figure out how to cash my check. They asked for references and even called them and still couldn't verify my check. I've been working there over a year and been cashing my checks without any issues. After telling them I'm going to be late for work and be in trouble with my boss they kept telling me to wait a few more minutes. I had to get serious and asked for my check back sternly. I lost 30 mins of work time just waiting for my check back after their approval process couldn't figure it out. Word of advice use money tree a few streets over. I've never had issues with them. read more

Love this location! The customer service has been consistent. Everyone is always nice and friendly. My husband and I both go there. We have had nothing but great experiences! They are so quick to help I even come during my 30 minute lunch and get everything done with time left over on my lunch!! I would highly recommend this location read more

Jose at Speedy Cash Loans has above all AMAZING Customer Service. Thank you for your time and help.

I went out on Disability because of Back. Waiting for the State to get their shit together on my benefits. It was unexpected. I ask to change the date and whatever. Speedy Cash is Oh yeah no problem blah, blah. Well this morning. Lol. They took the whole 300 out of my account so now my account is all screwd up....avoid using these guys. Cash Central is a better alternative... read more

I just have to rave about their payday loans. The money is instantly funded to my debit card in less than 5 minutes each time. I have Chase/J.P. Morgan and never had an issue. Their fee is a bit high, but it's worth it when you need quick cash. I always do their payday loans online because I feel like going in the actual establishment is bothersome. There's never lines, but it's just faster and more convenient to do it online. I always sign that clause that has then automatically take the money out of my acct. I do this so I'm never in debt and I always pay on time or early. I will continue to use Speedy Cash if I need another loan! read more

Waiting in line and there is a girl sitting behind the desk taking a break. When a break is taken your best practices should be in the break room. Not sitting up front where customers can see you. While Laura takes all the customers, this place sucks!! read more

Speedy Cash - A rep hiding behind the computer - Check Cashing/Pay-day Loans Near Me - El Cajon, California

So far this place been really good to me. The employees are usually nice except one of the girls.. yall need to get rid of her with her snooty self like she never made a mistake before. Therefore, I docked a star because of her attitude. But any other lady are friendly, I just hate when I come in and I get anxiety when I see her. read more

My boyfriend came in to apply for a loan and the process was really easy and he received cash right away! We called so many other places and this was the only place that allows you to use your debit card to secure your loan instead of using checks!! We are really happy with the service we received. Thank you Speedy Cash!! read more

I have had this loan for an unfortunate amount of time. Only payday loan company I have used that will not extend to you to your next pay date. Also will not allow you to put your loan into a pay off plan unless your loan is not in good standing. But today pissed me off when 2 separate times I was told I would receive a callback and have yet to hear anything. So if you are not a current customer don't go here moneytree and check into cash are much better options and they will work with you. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service, terrible management. Calls are recorded but they make excuses over wording or pretend they don't have a call from me. That's fine, I have it on my call records, I don't need to lie. They ran a payment that they weren't authorized to and then tried to charge me a late fee for it not going through. Manager gets back to me and made a bunch of excuses. Just don't give them any business, they're SHADY! read more

I would rate this place no stars if it was possible. I'll tell you all this much, this place is a waste of space and the employees waste your fuckin time. I purchased a prepaid card from them at this location. I bring it in to reload it and they say they can't reload it! Why promote and sell a prepaid card you can't do anything with?! I come here normal business hours only to find the door locked and the employee on the phone! I came in a different time to cash a paycheck from the same employer I had cashed here before to only be rejected. I asked if there was a problem with my last paycheck I cashed here and the employee said no but couldn't or WOULDN'T provide me with the proper information. At this point I'll NEVER come here again and I strongly urge all of you to do business elsewhere to save yourself the unnecessary bullshit hassle! read more

Borrowed $800 at the beginning of Covid -19. By September I owed over$1200 after paying close to the 800 I had originally borrowed. I called and spoke to everyone in that company except for the person that could help me. Do not do business with this company. read more

The process way very easy. Liz was very nice and professional. Thank you Liz for making the process pleasant

never will i use speedy cash again. your company steals from people and when you make a "case" about the stolen money they like to make you wait more than two fucking weeks to have someone of their off shore team tell you won't be receiving funds. you stole from my husband $600 and wont refund us back! this is stealing and we have proof of all the transactions. dont ever use this loan place. read more

A couple of days ago I was called by Marlen for an interview for a position they have available. She was extremely nice and courteous on the phone, and she set my interview for Tuesday at 1 pm. After graduating from college this past May, I was very excited to finally be getting interviews, and I showed up to my interview at 12:45. What I'm about to say is still a shock to me because I've never gone through this before, but when I walked in I immediately felt a cold atmosphere. I was not greeted with a "Hello, welcome" nor with a simple smile by either Marlen or the other two ladies working at the time. I walk up to the counter and I say, "My name is.... and I have an interview with Marlen at 1". I glanced down at her name tag and low and behold it says "Marlen". There was no "Oh hello, I'm so-and-so and I'll be handling your interview" none of that. Only "Fill out this application and when you're done bring it back". I was confused because I already filled out an application, she already had my resume, why would I need to do this process over again? Anyway, I finished the application and stood in an EMPTY lobby for a full 5 minutes watching Marlen and her other team members laugh and joke about nonsense until one finally decided to notice me. She took my application and said rather dryly, "Have a seat and she'll call you back when she's ready". 5 minutes pass. 10 minutes pass. And then 20. I have never felt so disrespected in my life! I got up and I walked out of there. I called the corporate HR to let them know of this experience and she was very helpful. She told me that she would forward my situation to the branch manager. My thing is this, over the phone I sound like a completely different person, like a lot of us do, so I don't think she was expecting a Black woman to walk in there for an interview. This was/is a clear case of work place discrimination and I will not stop raising h*ll until Marlen is fired. Imagine how many other qualified people like myself who have experienced this type of behavior from supervisors. I will NEVER go back into this place and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone! As a matter of fact, the branch will be hearing from me every single day until that racist woman is fired. And ONLY because I have to I will rate this place 1 star. read more

Tried to pick up a MoneyGram thought I was just gonna need to give them my drivers license but instead they wanted me to fill out a full application with my social security number they weren't very nice at all. read more

Literally trying to get a loan here the girl Jennie doesn't even greet me or start a conversation I'm at her window and turns always n helps someone else. I been here for almost 46 min and still no conversation or anything and still bitting her nails! Where is the management. read more

Customer service is horrible my wife put me down as a referral but since she put it on the wrong line witch she was told to they didn't honor the one on El Cajon blvd way better customer service read more

Super fast service! The woman that helped me was Melissa! She was so nice! She was quick to answer questions. I was in and out in no time!

I had to be out of work because I was sick. I sent an email to customer service to see if I could move my payment to the following week. I was denied even though I have never asked to do that before. I would think they could work with people when things arise out of their hands. read more

I have never been turned down 4 payday loan before but this place put my information in wrong ran my credit totally screwed up in there for the payday loan and they totally screwed up my credit they they raining Curry's that they just completely unprofessional this is the worst place in town read more

I received excellent service from Daisy, who took care of my every need in a friendly and positive manner. See you guys next month!

This place is horrible and the staff doesn't know what they are doing. They make an error, and charged my card, and then instead of giving me my money back, they tell me it will be 3-5 business days to correct their error!!!! Very unprofessional and honestly that's bs. The girl MARLEN, said she is the only one in charge and no one is above her, when I asked to speak to someone else. She then gives me a phone number and actually says "but they don't really deal with store issues or know anything about the store, just online." Really?!! This is common sense: I go to pay off my loan which is due on the 7th. I ask to re-loan, and she says, did you want it due on the 7th? Ummmmm I just paid off my loan due on the 7th, why would I pay another charge and take out a loan for the same date. Instead of admitting her error, she says people do that allllllll the time. I told her that my payment was due 20 days later in the past, and She then basically calls me a liar and says that "no, our system wouldn't do that so that's not possible. I said it would be in their records....she says their system doesn't show dates in their records. So I pulled up MY bank records and proved to her, and her response was "well then they shouldn't have done that. " You can't pick and chose what protocols to uphold and which ones to ignore, and then tell me that what Im saying never happened. People like MARLEN shouldn't be in customer service if they don't know how to deal with people and don't know how to do their job. read more

I came in for a loan today after having an unpleasant experience elsewhere and was very pleased with the service I was offered, as soon as I walked in I was greeted and called up to a window. I was notified that since I was a new customer I had to fill out an application so I did. When I came up to the window a teller by the name of Marrah was very helpful with the process, She was very friendly as well and was very interested in helping me out, I had completely forgotten I needed a check with me but she notified me that she did not need it and she could use my debit card instead. I was so amazed due to me always having to get checks for payday loans for other companies. Their business is very professional and friendly, I most definitely will be coming back. read more

NEVER get a loan here. I promise you will regret it. I called customer service on Sunday to ask for an extension and they told me it would be extended until Friday. The day after I called I checked my online bank account and Speedy Cash had taken 300$ out. I was then negative 250$. I called customer service and they told me that they never contacted the branch to update my due date. They basically told me there was nothing I could do. In order to pay what I was negative I had to go into the Branch to take out another loan. When I got there they had no notification that I was coming in to get my money. I had to call customer service again and they had never transferred my application to the branch. Now I am out 300$. I am extremely upset, I was robbed by them. And mind you, this is not the first time this has happened with them!!! Horrible people!!!! read more
