How embarrassing! i try calling and im on hold for a long time. Rep comes on, i give her account info and tells me im not on the account and do i have poa? what? ive never had trouble with this account... she puts me on hold again and then says she has to xfer me to back office. Mind you. im still waiting at the dealer. on hold again. New rep comes on, i have to explain again and shes typing away what i say. She tells me that they will not lift the lift on my debit card for the day and to use my credit card or get a cashiers check. im at the dealer and only have my debit card and nothing else. Even if i did have my credit card, i wouldnt use it because its an extra 2.5% to use. i asked why they wont increase the limit for the day and she says they wont. i asked again, give me a valid reason...she tells me they decline debit cards at dealerships and they wont accept it. im beyond mad at this point. ive been a long term mbr in good standing and you treat me like this? i had to leave and drive down to my other nice credit union, Mission Fed. that values me and my money and get everything taken of no problem, and then drive all the way back to the dealer. Thanks for wasting my time SDCCU! We have been with you for decades and this is how you treat your long time members? No thanks! You've become all about profit now and not customer service. Long term mbrs mean nothing to you now and you are just another big bank! There are plenty of alternatives out there and Mission Fed will now be my main financial institution. I have personally ever experienced in a bank and we've been with the Navy Federal Bank for 30 years. My mother is elder Bedford. Her debit card wasn't working. She hasn't drove a vehicle in 20 years. They wanted her to get a identification card, which is fine. That took a week remind you there's no food for her. There's no medicine for her. There's nothing her kids had to figure something out the following week go back into the branch. They literally give this 80 year-old elder so much obstacles just to unlock her debit card and get her money, it was absolutely asinine the disrespect we got from that branch and the people working there was diabolical. Again on her son, and they looked at me like I was literally a criminal who should not be in there when in fact, I'm the one who's been taking care of my mother for the last 20 years I took days off work to go in there to solve this issue so we can get her medicine. They told us basically go get another bank account from another financial institution find 16 different forms of identification, even though the woman told us she knows my mom was the woman but there's policy and that's the problem. Navy Federal's policy basically is elder abuse it needs to change because there's no way an elder woman should be waiting almost 2 weeks to get her money and then go back in to have more obstacles to have to deal with just to identify her even though the branch lady says she knows the woman in front of her is the same woman. Again, I'm going to go as high as I can to complain because these people just shoved us out the door and could care less I highly advise nobody to ever go to that branch or ever deal with Navy Federal again we had to go to another bank to open up another checking account to come back to Navy Federal to prove identity. I always come and do my usual business at this location, but I had this lady employee (whom I've never seen at this branch) who had an ugly attitude I'm not sure if she was having a bad day. I got her and told her to "have a nice day" because I'm not sure why I was treated with so much disrespect from her, she wasn't even the one helping me with my transaction, Helen (the new employee who is always great) was. However, Helen had a question/clarification in regards to my transaction and she went to her coworker for some assistance. This lady, her is DEVIN, comes up explaining that I can't do my transaction because xyz ( I won't get into detail) but she continued on to say that they aren't liable especially since they informed me about a policy. I COMPLETELY understand the policy. I have been a Navy Federal member for 6+ years now, you would think I would understand protocols and policies. She was just very nasty going back and forth with me about stating I couldn't do such transaction even I've always done it and there were no issues. I am disgusted and disappointed in this branch. I first contacted them in late July after her passing and followed their instructions to mail the required documents. Despite sending the packages to the address provided, I was later told nothing was received. Over the next month I emailed and called several times, but responses were slow, sometimes taking several days if at all, and the information provided was often incomplete. Each time I thought I was making progress, they would never respond to confirm it. After weeks of delays I decided to drive from Los Angeles to their Mission Valley location in San Diego to resolve the matter in person. When I arrived I was told I still needed additional documents. This was especially frustrating because I had emailed the day before to confirm everything was in order and was not informed of this. The only positive part of this experience was working with Tron at the Mission Valley branch. He went above and beyond, even staying after his shift ended to help me complete everything. He was empathetic, efficient, and made sure I left with the situation resolved. I want to acknowledge him by name because his professionalism and compassion stood out compared to the challenges I faced with member services. Overall I would caution others who need to handle account transfers after a family member's passing. Be prepared for delays, lack of communication, and missing information. Unless you go in person, expect a long and frustrating process.

I had to put new tires on it; I had to replace the driver side CV drive axle, and now I had to replace the throttle body and pedal. I have put about $2,500 into this car in the 11 months I have had it and paid $6,000 for it. The KBB value is half of that! Although everyone that works there is very kind, the cars they sell are not!
