Speedy is the correct name. I was in an out in less than 15 minutes. However, the price for a 99 and older vehicle to have it smogged is WAY too high. This place was the only game in town with a functioning dyno so I had to take the financial hit. One thing I was not pleased about with was that when he opened my door in the bay he smacked the wall. I've come here 2x the first time was two years ago and I came here a couple days ago. Both my experiences were great. The smog guy gets you out pretty quickly. I'd definitely recommend this spot I went to a smog place on g street 2 years ago and the guy sent me home said to come back tomorrow my mom also went there and that guy said the same thing to her. You can call this guy two minutes in advance and get a price of $55 and when you get there he will tell you it's $70 after the job is done. I cannot recommend this place. It's not so much the money part that bothers me, it's the PERSON who you are dealing with. read more

Called Before I went over to see how busy they were. He said not too busy and that when I get there I shouldn't have to wait longer than 10 minutes. If I could give this place a half star I would be generous, took it in to get my smog done last week. Guy seemed chill nice and respectful until it didn't pass smog he said I needed to replace the Catalytic converter cool, I replaced it plus did a tune up on the car. Took it back in he didn't even run the vehicle he said " you didn't change anything it didn't pass " kind of weird it didn't pass if I just replaced the stuff he asked. Went a 3rd time since he states " it's a free retest UNTIL it passes " B.S he doesn't want to retest anything, to top it off he said " take it somewhere else, you don't want to replace the stuff I'm not going to waist my time again on your car " after he pocketed the money of course he wants to be a A-Hole about it. Also stated that he can not tell me where to take my car to get fixed by state law! But, told me to take it to the muffler shop behind the building and see what a Catalytic converter looks like! This guy is a Fraud. Just want to take your money and acts nice. read more

i took my impala in for a smog check ready to wait about a half hour and was in and out in about 10 min.i filled out the paperwork and my car was serviced right after. they even honored a coupon i had that was not from them but a competitor that had the wrong info on the website showing speedy smog check. customer service was excellent. best place ever...definitely recommend ! read more

my wife took my truck in to speedy auto smog to get a smog, i forgot that i had a performance chip on my truck, now mind you that the thing is mounted on top of my breather box (air filter),in plane sight he could've just told my wife hey this thing will fail you need to take this off, and no problem, but no he runs the smog test fails it and charges my wife $40 and tells her it's going to cost another $40 for a retest, my fault for leaving it on, but that's a pretty scandalize way to make money i will never go here or suggest it to anyone again read more

Took my diesel here after another shop I have used for quite a while failed me due to an inexperienced tester on diesels. Speedy Auto Smog tested it and passed it because they know what they are doing. Speedy Auto Smog is my new smog shop for all of my vehicles. On their business card it says "WE SMOG EVERYTHING". So I asked if they do motor homes, he said "yes, we smog everything". Thank you for knowing what you are doing Speedy Auto Smog. read more

I found Speedy Auto Smog to be deceptive in their business practices. I was never given a verbal explanation up front as to what happens should my vehicle fail or receive a reading of "NOT READY". However, I did read that there would be a $30 retest fee on the pink copy of the form. Anyway, they told me "$50. out the door" which by the way is more expensive than most places in town. The individual that took my information had a "WE GOTCHA" attitude when he gave me the "NOT READY" verdict as he was taking my $40.00 for the failed test. In addition, he told me that it would be another $40. to retest the vehicle which contradicts the $30. retest fee on the pink copy of the original write up. The representative (rep) took pleasure in saying the following: "by the way, we keep your keys should you decide not to pay" I did not give any indication that I was not going to pay. Did he really have to say that to me??? I am a calm, cool and collective person. Can you imagine what would happen if he said that to a hothead. I,m sure the owner would not appreciate this tactless excuse of an employee. This young man clearly lacked the tact it takes to represent your company. No TACT, No RESPECT. The rep also seemed to be pre-occupied with activity outside the shop rather than giving his full attention to the customer. Remember, a successful business starts with the representation. Long story short, I decided not to return to this facility for the retest. I went to another facility and for a price much lower than your retest fee, The vehicle passed with flying colors. CHANGES YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING for your REPS Implement the PASS OR DON'T PAY POLICY (Your competitors do!!) Verbalize the RETEST FEE to the customer should the vehicle fail (BE UPFRONT w/Customer) Make "OutTheDoor" price compatible with surrounding smog facilities (TOO HIGH) read more
