One thing that stands out was that this is near where I55 and I72 converge, and the traffic lightened up substantially after this stop (come from the Chicago area). So it's a good place to stop with relatively easy in and out access, and the chance to get off I55, with overall pretty clean restrooms. Not bad.

She was as kind as can be! When I was buying candy bars, she proactively pointed out their clearance table which had the same bars at a lower price. How nice of her! I thought that was such a kind and thoughtful gesture--I ended up buying them all out to give to others. ​The only slight drawback was one of the other workers trying to engage me in a political conversation, but overall, this was a perfect, efficient stop with exceptionally kind service. 1 Star I've stopped…read moreat a lot of Love's locations over the years as a professional driver, and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. After fueling, I pulled my truck away from the fuel island and into the staging area so I could run inside and grab a drink. There were no trucks waiting behind me, several pumps were open, and I was not blocking anyone from fueling. While I was already inside the store, my truck was called out over the PA system and I was told to move it. What made the situation ridiculous was that another driver was still parked at Pump 17, inside buying food and socializing, yet apparently that wasn't a problem. Nobody called his truck over the intercom. When I addressed the issue, a tall female employee wearing an earpiece spoke to me in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. Instead of treating a paying customer with basic respect, she chose to yell and act confrontational. If there was a concern, it could have been handled professionally. Instead, it felt like I was being singled out for no reason. The problem isn't that I was asked to move my truck. The problem is the blatant double standard and the disrespectful way I was treated. Professional drivers spend a lot of money at Love's and help keep these locations in business. The least we should expect is to be treated with courtesy and consistency. Management needs to take a hard look at how customers are being treated at this location. Based on this experience, I'll think twice before stopping at Store #687 again.

It felt understaffed on the day we came, and took a little bit of time. Not enough to cause any real issues, but everything was coming out a bit slow. My BB chicken wrap was really good; some of the menu items on the ordering kiosk had robust descriptions, and some didn't, so I don't remember much about it other than it tasted good. Sauces were tasty too. The fries were great, glad we got some for the table. My daughter really wanted a burger and we didn't realize it was spiced and different than what she'd hoped for (not necessarily that spicy IMO but it was to her). The fruit smoothies were good and enjoyed cooling off and ending the meal with those. Nice, healthier option and overall a good experience!
