This is a very convenient place to park if visiting the Lincoln building and Library
While visiting the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois, we decided to use the nearby museum parking garage and found it to be a very convenient choice. The garage is located only about a block north of the museum and library, so once we parked, it was an easy and relatively short walk to the sites we wanted to visit. Getting into the garage was straightforward, and there were plenty of available spaces during our visit. The payment process was also easy to understand and use, which is always appreciated when you're visiting an unfamiliar city and just want to park and get on with your day. This is a paid garage, so you will have to factor the parking fee into your visit, but I thought the convenience of being so close to the museum made it worthwhile. The garage also provides a good location if you plan to spend some time walking around downtown Springfield and visiting some of the other Lincoln-related attractions in the area. We did notice a few homeless people across the street from the garage, which may make some visitors a little uncomfortable, but we did not have any problems during our visit. Overall, this was a good place to park. It was easy to enter, easy to pay, had plenty of parking, and most importantly was very close to the museum and library. If you're visiting the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, I would certainly consider parking here for the convenience alone. read more
