On one trip the kid manning the register was clearly very new and it took him approximately 10 mins and 100 pushes of buttons to ring up our 2 drinks. It was kind of unbelievable. Then he didn't (know he was supposed to) serve my boyfriend's drip so that took even longer than my latte. That is the worst the service has ever been... Not rude or bad, just frustrating and inefficient. I was also here earlier in the week and noticed that most of the tables were covered in crumbs. I was there for 2 hours and it got slow and there weren't very many customers so the staff certainly could have taken the time to wipe down the tables. But they didn't. It is located in Mapleridge Mall so you can get some other stuff done if in the area. This shop has a fireplace, which will be cozy and lovely very soon. I always like Caribou's branding, it is cute and clever.
