I headed to the building to pay cash, and saw more notices posted, with some lame excuse about payment network, and another notice that said they were closed. Door was indeed locked. Other people were coming in and wasting time before coming to the same conclusion and leaving. Judging by how out-of-date the gas prices are, I'm guessing it's been closed awhile. They should at least turn off the gas prices sign and change their website to show closed, rather than incredibly good prices. OTOH maybe they don't plan to re-open, and don't really care.

I entered through the door into the McDonald's, and all of the employees seemed to be very familiar with the customers that they were serving, which made me feel like this must be a pretty tight-knit community. The restrooms were clean, and I was happy to see that they had real doors, not the kind with the gaps on the sides. The privacy was appreciated. It was no Buc-ee's (aka "the best lil' outhouse"), but it was a close second.

I only come here for the convenience of a scale near where I load at to make sure it's illegal before I get too far down the road.. other than that I don't really make any special trip just to come here at all cuz there isn't that much for me at this one... but about three and a half Stars I tend to keep it down and not round up just because sometimes it's not the greatest when I leave shopping experience

He told me not to bother with the machine by the car pumps. He said it only works part of the time. He told me to head over to the diesel truck pumps. He said those pumps work and are free. I appreciated the looking out for customers. Restrooms were clean. This stations also has showers. Convince store has more than drinks and snacks. There is an aisle with various chargers, headphones, and other stuff for electronics. There is a selection of gifts. They also have a restaurant attached.

But what a…read moregreat store...starting with the barrel of pretzels for $.50 on sale at the front door when we walk in. Bird seed...a focus of what my folks and I were looking for today. Lots of birdseed options, fair prices. And if birds are your thing, hopefully there are some baby chicks in the tubs in the back when you come for you to view and goo goo over. On this day, they were on sale for $1 and thus flew off the shelf or rather out of the tubs quickly. Layout is open, bright, wide aisles and lots of merchandise from fencing to footwear and Ariat to seasonal selections....a bit of something for everyone really, including a city girl like me. I walked out with a cool t-shirt and also a barrel of pretzels for $.50. I found all staff to be very helpful and kind. Very quick to explain the layout of the store and point things out. Libby, the Assistant Manager, was particularly helpful and friendly. Rural King is lucky to have her. Being more of a City Queen than a Rural King, there is room in this market to have please all.
