I hold my foods to a higher standard - coming from New Orleans, and many times Trader Joe's is one of the few options I have to sustain myself in difficult places. Cape Cod definitely being one of those. The salt and peppered cashier gentleman was a definite plus at this location, he understood my silly bag collecting at all the Trader Joe's I visit, and he and another gentleman went out of their way to find out if there were other Cape Cod themed TJ bags (other than the lobster one that I was purchasing). Such a kind gesture goes a long way. Clean and well stocked, all my favourites, got everything I came for and more. I TJ's.

Amongst so many small liquor stores in the area that jack up the prices knowing you may be a tourist or they are conveniently located in a shopping plaza, finding Luke's was a relief! While some items I saw were still more than I was hoping to pay, their selection and fair prices overall are impressive. Luke's seems to be a great place if you are in need of a personal restocking, but I would highly recommend it as the place to go to stock your party!

I asked if I could toss out my empty coffee cup and got a flat "no." The person went on to state that they "don't accept people's personal trash." Five minutes later, I was at Northside Liquors where my same inquiry was received with a "sure, no problem!" Now I know where to go going forward for my wine and liquor. The other people commenting on this place's rude staff are absolutely correct.

NO hand cart wipes to be had when entering the store. NONE! They no longer supply customers with wipes anymore. With flu season arriving early this October and the exceptionally bad virus going around right now that is knocking people, young and old on their backs for well over a week, what are Albertsons and United thinking? Perhaps when they are painfully shortstaffed once employees start calling in sick and can't come in for days on end they might get an idea, perhaps. I am a local. I will not be returning to this store until they revisit their policy on hand wipes for customers at the entrance to their store. I will be letting everyone I know about this new and dreadfully shortsighted policy. FYI - Market Basket in Sandwich tried this and failed. They lost business and lost important staffing due to illness. Then they got an idea. Rather than lose business they now have wipes for customers at the entrance to their market. Such an important revelation though they were late to the party. I used the ladies restroom. As I went to wash my hands and turned on the faucet, the central water spout popped off the sink base with water shooting out from the base of the sink. Clearly, this was not the first time this has happened. It came off way too easy. It's too bad, it could be such a nice store. Instead management is letting this place become a health hazard for all creating a filthy bacteria and virus infected destination for locals to buy food and inadequate bathroom facilities for customers to wash their hands. Stop & Shop and Friends Market may be more expensive by some price margins, but at least you won't fall ill for weeks on end after walking in and through these other stores.
