Sure enough there were a couple of decaf options. I choose a peppermint tea that was nothing special and she asked me what size, so I assume I was going to pay more for a larger cup of water so I said small. I will definitely be back to try some of that! It also has a zine library, where you can read zines while you hang. There's a really good selection of work by local artists. I am a zine enthusiast, and even still, there were a lot of works that I had never heard of before! You can also purchase zines, cassettes, and other cool merch. It is very obvious that they support local art in there, which I appreciate. They have events there periodically (music shows, movies, etc). I have been to one music show, and it was the perfect small space for it. My one complaint is that it is sort of out of the way. There is not a lot of other shopping or similar stores around the area. This is fine, it's just one of those places that is sort of a destination, rather than a stop on a day out.

I finally made my way to Sunergos in downtown Louisville, and this place has officially earned a spot in my Louisville rotation. The coffee was good, the atmosphere was welcoming, and then there was that beautiful cinnamon roll. Warm, sweet, and exactly the kind of thing that makes you forget you ever said you were going to "just get coffee." But THEN I went back and discovered the Blueberry Latte. BABY. When I tell you that latte was everything I have been missing all my life! I don't even know why blueberry and coffee work together that well, but they DO. It was different, delicious, and one of those drinks you take a sip of and immediately know you're coming back for another one. And I did. A few weeks later, I went back specifically for my Blueberry Latte only to discover that it was OUT OF SEASON. Excuse me?! We had just found each other! Trust and believe, I will be asking when that Blueberry Latte is coming back like it's my part-time job. Sunergos, somebody needs to put me on the notification list.
