I have been here twice now. It is a comfy little place, pretty perfect for a rainy day. The staff is very kind, I ended up talking to the person at the counter about local music for a little bit, which was very nice.
I have not tried the kava yet, because I don't know how it affects driving ability to be honest, but the other menu items are really good. I really liked the ginger kombucha. It was a little spendy, but everything else on the menu is not very expensive.
The menu has some interesting items, such as adding kratom, kava, and CBD to a smoothie. I will definitely be back to try some of that!
It also has a zine library, where you can read zines while you hang. There's a really good selection of work by local artists. I am a zine enthusiast, and even still, there were a lot of works that I had never heard of before! You can also purchase zines, cassettes, and other cool merch.
It is very obvious that they support local art in there, which I appreciate. They have events there periodically (music shows, movies, etc). I have been to one music show, and it was the perfect small space for it.
My one complaint is that it is sort of out of the way. There is not a lot of other shopping or similar stores around the area. This is fine, it's just one of those places that is sort of a destination, rather than a stop on a day out. read more
