Very good and strong tasting espresso. It will give you the jitters for sure so be careful. I got an iced latte. Their small has two shots and large has four shots of espresso. It's a really small shop with three chairs outside. They also have some baked goods. A bit on the pricey side. And extra $1 for oat milk and syrup made my latte over $8 which is insane. read more

Jake and Devon make a great team at this downtown location. I was driving through during a cross-country trip and needed coffee. This cute storefront offers snacks, multiple coffee and espresso options, souvenirs, and coffee essentials for home brewing. The location is compact and does not offer seating or restrooms, but it was bustling when I stopped by. Well, in Louisville, this is messed up as it gives you the opportunity to walk around downtown and also enjoy sitting and sipping coffee across the street in the public seating area. read more

If you work downtown and only have a few minutes to get a cup of coffee, this is the perfect kind of place! We are fortunate to have several good locally-based shops in the Central Business District, and this is one of the better ones. The baristas are very friendly and work quickly. It is a small space inside, so don't be intimidated by a line out the door. You will get your coffee. I've had a few different types of lattes, but their summer special, coconut, is my absolute favorite. It's going away soon to make way for fall seasonal, so I'll be there at least one more time this week. If you are looking for a place to leisurely sip coffee and get some work done, there is a table outside along 5th Street. But otherwise, this is a get-in and get-out shop, which for me on many mornings is exactly what I'm looking for. read more

I've officially been to all Sunergos locations, unless they decide to expand. We walked in here about 30 minutes before closing on a Friday just before World Fest. It wasn't busy. We were the only ones in there. It's a small space. Mostly for grabbing your coffee to-go. There are two small tables outside though. I can see this place getting busy, since it mostly serves the workers downtown. I ordered a 12oz iced coffee with almond milk and a pump of vanilla. Yum! Never fails. It was honestly almost $5! I support local, but I can't lie that Starbucks actually makes this same exact drink at almost half the price. I order a grande at Starbucks and it's almost $3. My sister got the guava lemonade coffee soda. A seasonal drink. It's got guava juice, fizzy lemonade, and espresso. Fantastic! I'm not sure if I'll be able to return to this location but I will most certainly be at the other locations around the city! read more

Popped into Sunergos for a quick iced oat latte to go. Service was good! My latte was up in a flash and we were on our way. This is a tiny spot, but I'm not the sit in a coffee shop all day to mix and mingle, work or read type. I want my coffee to taste good, do it's magic and I don't require much more. If you're my local shop, know my name and order after a few visits, easy peasy! We stopped in for coffee and some baked goods, it was a cozy space with a lot of seating options and the service was great.

The hot coffee at the downtown location was amazing. I never say that because I actually don't like coffee that much and generally require booze in it. I did get some chocolate in this one, but it wasn't all that sweet. So delicious, no booze required. My husband had the caramel variety and it was also super good. The employees were very nice, upbeat, friendly, cute and talented with their froth designs. I wish I lived in Louisville for this place alone. read more

This Sunergos Coffee location is great! I have an office downtown that's walkable to this spot, so I have visited on many occasions. This spot is small, without any seating, but if you need to enjoy your coffee inside there is a small bar near the front window where you can stand. All of my experience has been with grab-and-go orders, but that's never an issue because the baristas are super nice, really knowledgable, and always quickly prepare orders. I haven't tried much from their menu, but the items I have tried have been delicious. I really enjoy stopping here to grab iced white tea in the summer, or lattes in the colder months. Everything is always quickly and freshly prepared, so you can have a delicious beverage on the go. They also usually have a few bakery items on the counter, sometimes including bagels and/or some dessert options that they source from other local spots (like Nancy's Bagel Grounds). The venue is cozy and narrow. The employees are warm and engaging. The coffee game in this town, overall, sadly is pretty weak....so to speak. The S.O. and I both had a standard drip coffee. She takes hers black. I, the snowflake that I am, dumps my fair share of sugar and cream into mine. The condiments unfortunately didn't help in the flavor department. The coffee, while rich, had a very subtle 'chickory-like' flavor to it. Yeah, yeah, I know, most coffees should have this component to it. Mebbe just my snowflake roots showing through.
