Speedway is usually…read morea solid option, especially if you're a rewards member since you can get 5 cents off gas, and they have them all over the city. The gas prices are usually pretty fair too. I pulled right up to an open pump as it wasn't very busy when I stopped. I used the Speedway app to pay for my gas, which is one of my favorite features. The app is easy to use, makes paying quick and convenient, and you can also earn points to redeem for items at Speedway. I also noticed that most of the pumps were working. Sometimes you come across gas stations with several pumps out of order, but that wasn't the case here. One downside: I like printing my receipt and pumps are hit or miss with it. This one was a miss.

Found this gas station/restaurant on Yelp to try for lunch while in the area. Full disclosure: I…read moredidn't realize it was a gas station until I arrived! But I was intrigued, so figured I'd check it out. Now I had no idea what Leo's offered until I went in. Think gas station/convenience store offering locally made food items, freshly prepared bowls/drinks and kolaches. Second guilty admission: never had a kolache. The nice woman behind the counter helped me choose (they were buy one, get one free)! So I chose one egg and cheese, and one spinach and cheese. They were warmed in an oven while I went to grab a coffee and use the restroom, which was very clean and well-stocked. Pro tip: if you want a latte or another specialty coffee, order at the counter. If you want to make your own, go to the coffee bar. It's less expensive, plus they have a variety of sweeteners, Torani syrups, and assorted creamers (including plant-based). The cash register employee let me know when they were ready to go, and my grand total was less than $6. I picked up a few hot sauce packets from the condiment bar and sat down in the dining area to eat. The kolache itself is essentially a small, light sandwich. The bread was soft, with a hint of sweetness. The egg and cheese combo was perfect for my light lunch! I had a bite of the spinach and cheese kolache before I left, which was even more flavorful and cheesy! Can't wait to have it tomorrow morning. The cafe also features freshly prepared smoothies, coffee drinks, salad/potato/pasta bowls as well as soups, with a rotating soup of the day. There's truly something for every taste. I was really pleased with this fun gas station mash up, and will absolutely drop in again when in the area!

For made to order food items, you put in your order on a screen and a little ticket prints out. Then you go pay at the cashier or self-checkout and come back to wait for your food. I opted for a an iced Carmel macchiato and a bagel with cream cheese. My brother tried the French toast breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious. I'm glad I heard them announcing to another customer how it works since I'm not sure I would've figured that out on my own. When your order is ready, they'll call out your number. The coffee did come from a different side than the food so you may have to wait at both stations. It was super clean and well organized. There was plenty of parking between the front and the back of the building. But, we noticed there wasn't any seating inside or outside. I didn't interact with employees much since I ordered at the screen and did self checkout, but they were friendly and did a good job explaining how the process worked when making announcements.

The store is clean, orderly and efficient. I am deducting one star due to an experience we had here years ago. Am I holding a grudge? Maybe just a little. We were returning from Kentucky on a Sunday and stopped here to pick up some Yuengling to take back home. We walked around the entire store with 3 cases of beer in our cart, passing several employees, and NOT ONE PERSON told us that Indiana does not permit the sale of alcohol on Sunday. it was not until we went to checkout that the person cashiering clued us in. Would I stop in here again? Of course I would. Just not on a Sunday. 42/2025

Like I mentioned, it is a gas station, one of the pumps had the pumping mechanism pulled off, I'm not sure if that was an accident or otherwise. But their gas prices are generally pretty competitive, especially with another gas station across the street. The village pantry had lots to choose from and was displayed very well, as I mentioned, the person behind the counter was really friendly and took care of things quickly. They have a large drink station as well as a very large coffee and pastry area. There is also a refrigerated area in addition to all the racks with chips and candy.
