Convenient location for a quick coffee and the Subway. Overall a fairly clean quick pit stop for the necessities.

This gas station has been in the center of Morristown, IN for a very long time, and although it has…read morenot really been updated, it does sell many of the basics someone may need. It is open 24/7 and they do serve hot meals such as pizza made to order, and other hot deli type items. The fuel prices are pretty much the same price as everywhere else, and this is the only 24/7 place in Morristown, so it can be very convenient at after hours times. The pizza taste better than frozen but not as good as a real pizza shops, but then again, it is low priced too. So I guess you get what you pay for. They also stock candy, snacks, beef jerky, smokes, soda pops, chips, fresh pre-made submarine sandwiches, oil, kerosene, and much more. So if you need a fuel or have the late night munchies and don't want to cook, come here for a quick bite to eat. The store is kept pretty clean and organized, and stays very busy during the daylight hours. The staff has usually always been friendly to me anytime day or night I would go here.

They curse in front of customers and talk about drugs and how to pass drug test. This store is in a small town and normally gets a lot of business but the way people are treated the regulars stop going unless they have too. I use to go at least once a day but now go to the other station. This store also can't seem to keep the coolers stocked either but yet you can see all the product behind them. If you ever come to Morristown don't stop at VP. Go to the other station or drive to the next town.

After…read morespending the weekend down in Madison Indiana with some friends on our way back to Indianapolis the said we needed to stop at rural king. This store is located in Shelbyville Indiana; just off of 74, when you walk into the store there's lots of plants and outdoor activities equipment outside, walk in and you can get some popcorn to enjoy as you walk through. Seems to me that there is just a bit of everything you might need located Inside. A large selection of causal and work clothes, several different types of shoes. The rest of the store has guns, pool, hunting, fishing, and farming equipment. I think if you have a dog up to a horse you might find something you need in the pet section and rural king. Interesting place! Not sure when I'll be back but a good experience

I recently bought a new (I thought was new), RK Performance 450 UTV from the local Shelbyville In…read more Rural king. The next day while going through the contents of the bag I was given at the time of purchase I found the title. It shows the unit as a 2021, being three years old. I'm guessing this is why the cashier said "Hey some one finally bought it!" I thought this was due to the 8,999.99 price tag not including tax. I called the store and asked for the manager. She was nice but said she could not do anything but would have some one contact me. A couple of days later a guy called me already apprised of the situation. I explained to him my issue of paying for a new unit, not one three years old. I suggested a refund based on depreciation. These units depreciate 15 to 20% the first few years according to the market. Since I was the first purchaser I suggested one years depreciation which would be 1,400.00. He said "absolutely not". He told me I could clean it up to look new and return it for a refund. One, this doesnt address the issue I bought what I felt was a new unit, not three years old! And two, there was not another unit available. Since this unit replaced my 87 year old Dad's broken down unit, this wasn't much of a option. This would also explain why the engine isnt running smoothly. I was told "the units were very well maintained and that didnt make since". I feel like this has been very poorly handled by Rural King, and I am surprised they would handle it this way. I will never return to Rural King, not even for their free pop corn. Lee Pope

After stopping in for gas at numerous other stations, its nearly unbearable to walk into a station that clearly doesn't give a hoot about their store, their customers, the "Shell" experience, nor convenience. People stop at gas stations for fuel and for a restroom break. Those two things should be NAILED at every location every time. Restrooms should be clean. Um...stand and pee Girls! Pumps should work. They got this one right! Period. End of story. No one wants to buy "pleasure" in a flipping bathroom dispenser! Really?! Toilets shouldn't be cracked or dirty. Floors should be clean. Sinks must have adequate soap and paper towels. Third thing people come on for is beverages. Coffee in the morning. Not ONE decanter of coffee but regular and decaf at a minimum with basic condiments and the coffee should be fresh every hour. Finally, newspapers or reading material. This location had a local paper. That's it. Want cigarettes? They gottem!

It has all the standard mini mart items such as hot and cold beverages, snacks, lottery tickets, smokes, and other items. They have had 1 pump broken for many months. Be certain to check the expiration dates on the food if you buy any here. As being so slow they do not sell much, so things can expire quickly. Sometimes the pumps work very slowly too, not sure if its because their under ground fuel tanks are getting low or if its just older, worn out pumps.
