I stopped to fill my car, today on my way home from work. The pump was glitchy- kept turning off…read moreagain and again- so I applied minimal pressure until I had enough gas to at least get to and from work tomorrow, & then gave up and decided I'd just get more gas later in the week, because it was so frustrating. The pump read $15.07. Then I got in my car and started driving home, only to notice the gas guage hadn't budged. No gas had actually gone in my tank. I went back and interrupted the kid in the station from his scrolling, telling him what happened. His response? "Well, if that happened, it'd be the first time I ever saw it-" as if I'd make it up. I said, "You can go try the pump, yourself." He says, "I wouldn't have anything to put the gas in" (as if any gas would be coming out). I said I'd be happy to drive my car over to the pump, and he can use my car to put the (nonexistent) gas in. Again, he implies it just isn't possible that the pump could read that 4 gallons had been dispensed, becuase, hey, in his 18 years he'd never seen such a thing. He said if I wanted my money back, I'd have to come back on Friday and speak to his manager. I asked for the manager's name and number, and alpha Bro Jr. said, "He doesn't like me to give it out." I asked him to tell the anonymous manager I would never buy gas there, again, and I'll make sure no one in my family does either. Really lousy "customer service;" very sketchy management. No wonder it's never busy, there.

You won't see the sign up high on a pole from far off. It's at ground level. The Sunoco station is located east of downtown Saline and State Street. It's on the south side of US-12, opposite Walmart. Inside they have an ATM, coffee, subs, pizza and other snacks. Outside they have DIESEL at the regular pumps under the roof, another diesel pump away from the other pumps, vacuums for your upholstery and air for your tires. They even have a pay phone and clothing donation boxes. A little island of convenience.

I swiped my speedy rewards card and the 24 cents and 11 cents standard roll back was shown for the gas price. However, when I inserted my credit card the price reset. It wouldn't allow me to get that reduced price back at the pump so I went inside to the cashier and she said she would do it from inside. She also said she couldn't get the 24 cents to "reappear" but said to pump the 25 gallons and contact Speedway to get your $6 owed to you. I tried contacting Speedway on several occasions using different means to no avail... It gets very busy during weekdays afternoon (lunch hour) and evenings .. Line moves quick as there are more pumps and both sides can be filled .. The dispensing hoses can be extended over the top of the car, even if the gas tank is on the opposite side.. You must own the Costco membership to fill gas here .. Payment can only be done using Visa card or Costco Cash cards, no cash accepted .. Hours are limited as they close by 9.30 pm on weekdays and 7- 8 pm on weekend .. No convenience for washing windows or checking air or oil.. Clean gas station and totally worth it ..
