Easy checkout with the techs. The store itself is also really nice, clean, well stocked in cosmetics, OTC medication and snack area. Love that there's a couple of self check-outs at the front as well. I'd definitely come back to this location for a prescription! Since I'm from out of state, I'm unaware of local rules regarding liquor. I get a cart and start putting beer and such in my cart. I hear someone scream from the front, "HEY!!" Didn't see who and didn't know it was directed at me. I kept walking. Again, "HEY!!!! YOU CANT BUY ALCOHOL AFTER 9PM!!!!!!!" I saw the guy, red faced and looking ready to explode. I chuckled and said "Nice welcome." I then walked out. Did I look like a degenerate? No, I'm 64, wearing a blue blazer and a crisp white shirt. I wonder, was there a better way for the owner to handle this situation? Maybe say, "I'm sorry sir, state law prohibits us from selling alcohol after 9pm. Come back tomorrow and we can take care of you." But, I'll never find out. Maybe the guy is going through a rough time in his life. I wish him the best.

They have clean bathrooms - a Women's room, a Men's room, and a large family bathroom. They also offer fresh-made drinks at their cafe counter. You have to check out the Concord Zoo while you're here. It's to the right of the store across the parking lot. There was a staff member feeding the animals while we were there, and the enclosures looked pretty good from what we could see. This will definitely be our go-to rest stop the next time we drive this direction.
