The store is reasonably clean and has a good selection (especially when you need to satisfy that "junk food" craving). My only advice to management - the incense can be a bit strong at times!

You can save up to 10cents. This station was the cheapest in the area and much cheaper than around my home for sure. However, I did not notice before stopping, there is a price for cash and a price for credit. I hate when gas stations do that! I always pay credit so I had to pay a little more. Something went wrong with the pump and it selected premium instead of regular. I couldn't figure out how to cancel. So I went inside. I explained the situation to the lady - what a grouch. She basically told me that I musta picked it and that's the only way that could have happened. The man then stepped in and was quite helpful. He explained that perhaps as I was putting the hose into the gas tank that the hose hit the button. Ah yes, that could definitely be it. He said that it would reset, that I could start all over again, and still use my Kroger points. He even came outside and made sure everything was OK. Thanks! :-) Much better customer service than the lady!

I stopped by this QT to fill up after visiting nearby Smoke Rise Country Club. In general, I'm a fan of QTs because they have reasonably priced Top Tier gas, plenty of pumps, and relatively clean gas stations and convenience stores. This is an older QT. You can tell by the design of the building. I guesstimate it's been around at least 10 years, maybe double. However, even the older QT stores have been retrofitted over the years to feature the nicer "QT Kitchens" brand food and drink including this one. There are 24 pumps at this station. I used pump 8 and it was in OK condition. It was showing its age as the displays were hard to read. I couldn't tell if one of the digits in the price was a 5 or a 6 -- the effects of LCD burn-in. Like all QTs, this one is open 24/7 and has free air for your tires.

I'll even go out of my way to get gas here because it is usually much cheaper than surrounding stations. I noticed they recently changed their little thing that allows the gas to auto pump from the metal kind to plastic. I've used it there a few times while I cleaned my car out with no issues. Today I, like millions of Americans do all the time, had it auto-pumping and went inside to grab a drink. I then heard another customer run inside and say that the gas had not stop pouring when the tank was full and now gas was all over my car and all over the ground. I purchased my drink and went outside to find my card had been charged $41 instead of the usual $25. I am SO grateful to whomever stopped it and hope they didn't get covered in gas. I went in and calmly asked the manager if he could give me a partial discount and he spoke to me very loudly and rudely and said I should have stayed there and paid attention, I have no proof the problem is the pump and not my car, no one else has had that issue all day, etc. I said "that's ridiculous and I'll never come here again" and he just said again loudly as I walked out "You pay attention!" Obviously my glee of finding a station that was going to save me a few cents a gallon went out the window when I ended up wasting $16 and now have to pay for a car wash. I'm mostly upset by the way I was talked to. Even if the manager couldn't offer me a few dollars back or a gift card for a future pump or even a "that sucks. I'm sorry that happened to you," he could have been nicer.
