Then, when I got home and started to leave, I found a huge puddle of oil in my driveway, After noticing the leak, I pulled the oil filter and found it completely dry. Now I'm missing my trip because I can't reach anyone after hours, and my hotel is non-refundable. I had my baby loaded up and everything. I'll update this review depending on how the issue gets resolved.

No discoutn, promos, or nothing was offered. Once calling out the high price that he was quoted, he said that's on par if he just took his car to the dealership for an oil change. He was told it's a quicker service here though. He unfortunately left due to the high quoted price for an oil change and took his business elsewhere. Maybe prices have increased or changed since I've been here. If so, that's a bummer. They should consider doing some promos or discounts to be more competitive.

They answered the phone within a few rings and in a very friendly way said to bring it. Upon arrival I was greeted and had all paperwork done within 5 minutes. I was told it would be about 20 minutes before they would be able to check the brakes. In 20 minutes I had their inspection findings. Since parts were had to be ordered I was told it might take 2-3 hrs.. two hours later I received a call that my car was ready. Pricing was good, Service was exceptional, the staff were friendly. What more could anyone want? Six stars on a five star rating system. This is the place that truly delivers more than what they promise.

I requested an oil change and a tire rotation. The last two times I've purchased this service, the…read morecost has been $56. Today I went in with a $50 gift card that had been sent out in a mass mailing by Speed themselves. First, they did not know what to do with the gift card. The man behind the desk told me, "Our marketing department messed up with this because it should not cover an oil change and tire rotation." But the card only says that it can be applied to any service over $50. Then the price magically went up to $109. When the $50 gift card was applied, the price dropped to $66, which is what I paid. I'm not Einstein, but . . . . Maybe I do not understand how a gift card really works. I walked away suspecting that I had purchased an oil change, but that I had given Speed a $10 gift card. The help assured me that I should be grateful because he had removed the entire cost for the rotation and labor, and there was no other category to remove from the bill. Their parting words of consolation were, "Well, at least you got your oil change and tire rotation out of the way." That I did.

This place has the most expensive energy drinks on earth and they are dishonest. This most recent…read moretime the Mexican lady short-changed me and admitted to it. The Red Bull was $5.40 (see pic below). She gave me my paper bills change back but not my 60-cents. I stood there and waited and she said "oh, you want your coins?", as if it was only a couple pennies and she could keep it. I said, "of course I want my change back". She then gave me 35-cents back and I left, only to realize she still owed me 25-cents. Is this lady nuts? I will NEVER go back. Also they sell hoodies that only a burglar would wear (see pic).

We'd gotten an obscene estimate from VW to replace the car's heater (core?) in 10/2008 and since my…read morehusband stops by this particular Chevron all the time he decided to ask the mechanic what he thought and get a quote (and a good quote it was!) They "back flushed" the coolant system and we only paid $187. VW didn't want to even try the flush. They wanted to just replace the heater core for a good 1K. We were extremely happy! But every single trip to their garage since then has left us spitting mad! 1. We took my other car in this time for a quote when it had a check engine light on, but whose code I'd already extracted (P0342, Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Low Input). Plus I needed an oil change. He charged us for the diagnostic test ($78) that was completely unnecessary since I had given him the diagnostic code myself. When I argued this point he said the fee would be cut in half when I return to get it fixed. I called my husband and he called bullshit. 2. It's a month later and I can afford to repair the Camshaft Position Sensor plus get an emissions test. But they charged me $10 for a new wiper blade "because it was drizzling out and it was hard to see". If you are going to charge me for new wiper blades without telling me, give me TWO! No they did not reimburse me for the diagnostic test. 3. I recently took the VW in for a last-minute emissions test, he turned me down because they were busy. When I hesitated to agree to bring it back the next morning like he was suggesting, he literally reached out and touched/held my face with both hands and told me "oh, can't you bring it by first thing in the morning?". I was stunned and I asked for the bathroom (it was very clean by the way) and stayed in there a bit. I didn't tell my husband about the incident because he'd already told me he didn't want to go back to this place but I argued it was cheap, and the dude already knew our cars/history, and it's not like we knew of anyone else + I needed that emissions stat! We drop off the car the next morning around 9am. He tells us he cannot do it "right then' (while you wait), that we have to leave it with him, and they will call us later in the day when it's done. We don't hear back from him at all until we call 20 minutes 'till closing and they tell us "it's been ready for hours" but that they are closing now and that we'll need to pick up the car the following morning. We are LIVID. We pick up the car the next morning and to my husband's horror they left grease smudges and greasy finger print marks everywhere they touched! The car has leather seats, and they were FILTHY! Oh yeah, and they broke the handle to the glove compartment and just left it in the cup holder for him to find. WHAT WERE THEY DOING IN THERE?! These are just a few of the examples I can remember. There's been more. I can't say that I've EVER had a good experience with ANY mechanic. The whole auto industry is a F'n racket! They are all the same. They would get 1 star but I've received worse service.

There was no hesitation in there response and they looked into it on the spot, no reservation. Initially thought it was the drivers side tire since there clearly was a nail in it, nope. Pulled out the nail, checked for leaks, all good. Ian didn't stop there, he found nails on 3 of my 4 tires and finally found where the pressure was leaking. They could of used this to there advantage and charge for another tire.. Nope, was pleasantly surprised to hear, "that can be patched" and at no cost. Customer service at there finest!
