On a rainy morning before hitting the I-40 towards Vegas, I needed to fill up in Flagstaff, AZ…read more I received triple rewards filling up here on November 23, 2025: Circle K, double cash credit card, and Rakuten. The pump & card machine were both fast. Clean station outside. Good spot for big rigs too. Fuel prices that day: Unleaded = $3.20 Plus = $3.57 Premium = $3.87 My youngest and I needed to use the restroom. It was awkward to see an old man and a young boy (probably grandpa/grandson, though) walk out of the clearly marked women's restroom. Alas, it was mostly clean.

Pilot Travel Center is always a solid option during road trips!…read more My husband and I were on our way to Sedona and decided to stop at this Pilot Travel Center for some more affordable gas. This location is not as big as some of the other ones across the country but it was still pretty good equipped with all the basics. The bathrooms were very clean and I even noticed they had a baby changing station. They also have a laundry room for pay across from the bathrooms. This location also has a Subway and McDonalds attached to it, and I even noticed they have this section of pre-made sandwich subs that you can grab and go in case you don't want to wait for your order. Highly recommend stopping by this gas station if you need to get some rest from the road or just need some extra snacks!

There should be a special award for "Helping the Tooth Fairy Stay on Schedule," and Elizabeth at…read morethe Safeway on Cedar absolutely deserves it. We had not one, but TWO kids expecting a visit from the Tooth Fairy, and somehow we'd managed to have exactly zero cash in the house. I made a late-night dash to Safeway under the very convincing excuse of "Mom's bringing home a treat," only to realize it was after 8 p.m. and the regular checkout lanes were closed. Normally, cash back at self-checkout would've left me with one lonely $20 bill...not exactly Tooth Fairy-friendly when you've got two little believers. I spotted Elizabeth, explained that I was in the middle of a full-blown Tooth Fairy emergency, and without hesitation she smiled, opened a register just for me, and saved the night. I'm sure it seemed like a tiny act to her, but it meant everything to us. People often say it takes a village to raise kids, and whether Elizabeth realizes it or not, she became a little part of ours that night. In a world where everyone is busy and no one is obligated to go the extra mile, her kindness made all the difference. So thank you, Elizabeth, for helping keep the magic alive for two excited kids, and for reminding me that our community is still full of genuinely kind people. Safeway is lucky to have you!
