But the best part of this hidden gem is the Del Sol Mexican deli. The food is amazing and people travel from all parts of the Twin Cities to eat there. Its amazing, authentic and will keep you coming back for more. Here's a picture of the tacos I got there today! I highly recommend you head over and say hi to Mo the owner and order some tacos or burritos - you won't be disappointed!

Ooh Wee. The menu posted above the kitchen says they make other sandwiches as well and they seemed to have wings, chicken strips and Catfish Tilapia at bargain price. This deli has had a different menu about 3-4 times in the last year alone. Come to find out, the Deli was leased to others who were cooks but the grocery owner has now decided to keep it in the family and has his wife cooking up the delicious Philly. How do I know this? When I checked in thru Yelp, I supposedly was going to get 1 Free small Fry and it also said "All Yelp customers dining with us will receive 15%". I found out this was "maybe, put on Yelp by the previous cooks", that's what the guy behind the register said. Yelp also seems to think that '$15 for $20 deal' It still is advertising is probably good. Tip: Call to make sure they're open. The deli hours are supposedly 10-8pm. They were not open at 1:00 pm in the afternoon sometimes.

If I could give it a negative star I would. This Cub announces in every way that what they would…read morereally like to do is to sell groceries without any customers. They have decided that the solution to their high theft problem is to lock up every household product with a dollar value above 99 cents. This "solution" means that you cannot look at the product you intend to purchase, nor can you carry it to the checkout yourself. Additionally, the already over-worked employee forced to baby sit you is not interested in the fact that you may need more than a nano second to consider your options before making a purchase. Let's not forget, that as the burdensome task of waiting for you to decide on your product falls to this presumably union employee, this arrangement forces them to treat you as a potential shoplifter. This allows them the space between you and them since, as you can imagine, they spend their shift being yelled at and generally crapped on. Well, Cub, at Midway. This is your grand plan to make money, is it? Have all your products behind glass, and then, if anyone has the audacity to point out how ludicrous this is, the only option is to complain to an employee who also realizes what a complete waste of everyone's time and energy this but is forced into compliance lest they complain and risk their $13.21 an hour, no benefits. So, I think it goes without saying that I won't be shopping at this Cub again. But I know the decision-makers don't read these reviews, nor do they care. Because if they did, they would have retracted their ridiculous plan of babysit shopping behind a glass wall, one employee shift after it began. As no one with actual power will make any real change, this review is for you, dear reader. If you had any doubts about exclusively shopping on Amazon, and I certainly have my own problems with that, consider that the final brick and mortars aren't soliciting any feedback. Or, perhaps to the union Cub employee. Consider the power of your union. Are you actually seeing the benefit of those union dues, while you're forced into trench warfare with your own customers, knowing full-well corporate doesn't listen to you either? Hey, Andre Persaud, CEO, you said you had to earn customer loyalty; Or was that just a good talking point? In a food desert that is midway, you don't even have to do that. You just have to be the only option. Congrats being some people's only option. But, I for one, am able to buy everything I got there today online. Hope your glass walls protect your empty shelves when the company goes for broke in 3 years.

While staying in Minneapolis, I stopped into a close-by Walgreens to get a few items. I have alway seen locations in downtowns and this one was right around the corner from where I was staying. I am always pleased when I am properly greeted when I walk through the door. I am especially happy when a clerk or cashier look up from what they are doing to acknowledge a customer walking through the door. This store, like other Walgreens is big and bright with clean isles to navigate through. This incredibly delightful staff was over the top in greetings. Happy to see a customer. Happy to help a customer. Happy to speak with a customer. I needed a few items ranging from water to shaving cream. They had plenty of items to choose from and I pleased that their house brand is a substantially reduced price and the same item. Check out went very quickly and I received the same cordial greeting as I left as when I came in. The team member behind the counter just personified the model employee of engagement, spreading happiness and loving to be able to help. Kudos to a wonderful team here at Walgreens.

Walgreens, please hire some more capable associates to take care of your customers. The staff members you have seem overworked and frazzled.
