Just today I came to get a car wash, and I also placed a pizza order. I marked my parking spot/arrival location as being in the car wash line, which I knew was a bit of a challenge. They didn't quite make it in time, so I called to let them know I had pulled into the wash. I said "I know I gave you a challenge there (while laughing)" and they laughed with me and just told me to pull up next to the front door when I was done. They watched for me out the window and brought the pizza out promptly when I pulled up. The pizza was handed off with a joking "we'll have to charge you more for this one" comment. Overall super friendly and great service!

Bonus - you can bring your own mug to refill! If you stop in week days between 7-8 the parking lot is very congested. A lot of moving size delivery trucks stop to fill up and for food. Cashier Kim is AMAZING! She remembers my regular items so it is a nice personal touch. I would say it is fairly clean for how busy it is, but could use a little extra TLC. Overall I highly recommend stopping here

I have been here a few other times, years ago, when I lived in the area. (About 18 years ago.) The store looked about the same to me as previous times that I had been there. The pharmacy was in much worse shape. The doctor had ordered the prescription through their computer system. There was a lot of confusion about it. The tech told me it was "just ordered." I said, "Oh, I thought it would have been ordered about half an hour ago, when we were leaving the doctor." She said, yeah, we only got it a half hour ago! So I don't know. They were moving pretty slow, but it was very very busy. Every person who went up to pick something up (or drove through the drive in, which was quite busy!) it seemed like they just had so many questions and needed a lot of help. There were also 2 people they had to turn away for being out of stock for their medication, which isn't great either. It makes them seem even more disorganized. That being said, the customers seemed to be more of a problem than the staff. The staff was very patient, even when explaining things multiple times in multiple ways. But they were maybe a little too nice to keep things moving at a good pace.

I don't expect much out of gas stations (I don't think many people do), so we were both kinda floored by how NICE the interior of this gas station was. Like practically upscale fancy (for a gas station), clean and well-lit, with a decent selection of REAL food (produce, milk, eggs, etc.) in addition to the typical junk fare. I was also impressed by the tap smoothie and protein shake dispensers alongside the coffee brews and soda fountain. Bakery items were actively being discounted when we arrived, and were extremely tempting flavors like pumpkin white chocolate chip. Perhaps needless to say, we walked out with more than hubbie's cup of coffee. X'D Making your shop look nice (while staying affordable) works y'all! Honestly this trend of gas stations that TRY is refreshing; it doesn't have to feel like you're slumming it or one step above peeing on the side of the road. Next time I need a quick something, I may in fact prioritize Kwik Trip over say Holiday or Speedway. Also the employees working here were friendly and efficient. So even the help really seemed a step above the rest when it comes to gas stations. My kudos to them!

There was a woman wandering around the store and an employee by the name of Mike approached her. He said to her "I noticed you came from the storage locker area, are you hungry?" He was in the process of cleaning off the rollers where the food was. This kind gesture made me tear up. I commended his actions & as he said, it's the right thing to do. I told him, but it isn't the common thing to do. He did not have to help this woman, he could have thrown that food away. You need to know that this employee went above and beyond, and he should be recognized. I will be doing a Google review on your store as well.

Tom Thumb would wage gas price wars back in the day, but Bill's stays reasonable on its own. The cashier staff is half weirdos, half nice teenagers. I don't mean 'weirdos' in a bad way, but I do prefer nice teenagers. If you're buying an item that, unbeknownst to you, is buy one get one free, they grab another one for you. They wish you luck when you buy a lottery ticket. I'm feeling a little Lake Wobegon as I describe them. The fountain soda/coffee to go area is well-maintained. As a frequent roadtripper, I wish all gas stations had the wherewithal to keep the urns full. I've never had the balls to try the hot food, though. I look at the hot dogs and flash back to Apu (from The Simpsons, naturally) dropping a hot dog on the floor, blowing off a little dirt, then returning the hot dog to the display. Shudder! I'm taking a couple stars off because it can get dodgy 'round these parts at night. Kids tend to congregate outside and the rent-a-cop can only be in one place at a time. They sell Heggie's pizza! When I first saw it on the sign at the corner, I nearly got my car on two wheels in a Heggie's-induced frenzy. The pumps were just replaced a few weeks ago and they're much easier to use.
