I loved salad bar and hot items available! 9.99 a lb for salad bar and hot items! They even have a taco bar. I got 4 Panko crusted shrimp, mashed potatoes, 1 boneless small short rib, Mac n cheese, carnitas, pico, tortilla chips. All of this in a bowl for under 5 bucks! You can't beat this deal! I really liked this grocery store! The energy and dark atmosphere here is its downfall. The energy at kowalskis down the road with its friendly staff is a better environment. I will be back here. The food options are just awesome and well prepared in the hot bar and salad

I love this store! They've got a good selection of everything. The produce is amazing as well as the pre made items (salad, sandwiches). I always use the self checkout and it's super quick. But the absolutely best thing about this store is it's carpeted. I have never been to a store with carpeting. It's awesome and makes the whole place cozy.

There's a scene in World War Z where Brad Pitt drives his family to a random grocery store to stock up on food and medical supplies. (It's before the part where they meet a Latino family that helps them for a minute that later decides not to follow Brad and co. out of the zombie-infested city.) If I lived in Woodbury and the Zombie Apocalypse happened, I would definitely swing by this lovely grocery store to prepare for the end. However, instead of a gun, I'd probably carry my dad's battle staff (used to cut the legs of horses) or his katana. Maybe both? Ooh, and some nunchucks. Just one, though. In the land Hoodbury, aka the suburb where almost every damn 3M employee lives, every major chain is on steroids. And this Byerly's is no exception (although, most Byerly's are in the burbs)... And in this case, bigger is better: +A million of everything. +Spacious (since it took over a Cub Foods, I think.) +Friendly staff. +Sales everywhere. +Reasonable prices that aren't much different from their competitors. +Tons of parking. I also learned that they'll soon be housing a US Bank. That means, I can stock up on food, medical supplies, and withdraw some cash before hitting I-94 on out of the TC.

I love lunds as an option for a quick dinner! They have so many freshly prepared items, and my all time favorite is sushi Wednesday!! 6.00 sushi and it is DELICIOUS! I was always very wary of grocery store sushi until I tried this! It was soo good! This lunds is always very clean, and has a Starbucks inside. I enjoy going, grabbing lunch, and studying at their fantastic lunch area. So many tables, and so many options!

Yes yes I still feel very strongly about loving HyVee…read more TOP quality FRUITS and vegetables -- bananas especially tasty and last almost a full week BIG daily restocked selection of nice green generous sized fruit. LOVE love SUMO ORANGES - - my most favorite of all fruit. We lived last 5 years in Florida ( moved back to MN in January) and had incredible fruit / became enamored especially with the deep especially juicy rich flavor of the Sumo orange. There's nothing like them. Now can't eat other oranges- - nothing compares, highly addictive! Amazing with bananas and sweet pineapple cut up and eaten with 4 % milk fat cottage cheese with a generous teaspoon of mayo on top of the cottage cheese. Amazing! Fresh fruit and fresh veggies provide our bodies with the VERY best nutrients and vitamins of all other food groups. Steaming not boiling veggies also preserve the highest level of vitamins. ( Dad was a Prof of Biochemistry at a med school.). We are basically what we eat. Fresh meat fresh chicken fresh seafood cooked at home are the most nutritious way of eating . Vitamin A found in the greatest level in fresh apricots and beet green tops helps fight and prevent cancer. Lunds is a gorgeous store but way way too expensive for me. Target is a great option for super low prices but stock/ variety are VERY limited and fruits veggies are extremely limited/ manhandled a lot by customers. Flavor is lacking in potatoes yams and in a lot of Targets fruit which is picked when green. Target runs after the cheapest resource. Their quality is not great. Then CLEANLINESS is essential to me. HyVee aces this. I love the WIDE spacious aisles, the extremely high ceilings and non glaring softer lighting. Thus you have a calmer more relaxed ambiance - - rare today in grocery stores. I come EVERY week here. Their daily sales on beef chicken and pork in special cases, some seasoned thus ready to cook, are excellent FRESH QUALITY! GREAT SALE PRICES too. Their homemade giant variety of FRESH BRATS are pure heaven - - cheddar and original are my FAVORITES! Their " drug store". Cosmetics Liquor store and kitchen dining products are beautiful with a wonderful selection. GIANT selection of tiny hand held liquor bottles at $.99 each too! ENJOY!!!!!!

With less than 24 hours' notice, Kayla made the most beautiful cupcakes for us. The cake she decorated exceeded our expectations, and we were genuinely impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail in the design. 10/10 experience--huge thanks to Kayla and the Oakdale Hy-Vee Bakery!

Am I missing something here? I don't live in the area. I don't even live in the state. However, I…read moresaw a few reviews that captured my attention and I wanted to see for myself. I truly wanted to try the pre-made foods. We walked in and the lights were dimmed. It felt more like I was walking into an art gallery than an Asian grocery store. No one shouting. No funky smells. The produce section was what I walked into first. I was met with 4 green onions, 2 onions, a bag of bean sprouts, and a few fruits but all the produce were all wilted. At least everything else was neatly organized. Then we went to the sauce area, then to the ramen, then to snacks and so forth. All the products were at least 25% or more, higher in price than what's available in the grocers in St. Paul. Yes, you're paying more for the ambiance. Make the drive over to the hundreds of other Asian grocery stores there. I don't even live close and I make the effort to do my big grocery shopping in St. Paul for the price and variety. Anyway, I didn't see any or much SE Asian grocery items that would help me cook my dishes. Most items were catered to East Asian cuisine. Their precooked food area was sad. The pre-cooked rice looked mushy. The breads were dried and flaky. Disappointed to say the least. As an Asian person, I wouldn't frequent the establishment even in desperate times.

I was thrilled to see that there is an Asian grocery in Woodbury and it's just down the road from Costco. So I gassed up with some cheap fuel, bought a vacuum that I probably don't need (Costco, amiright?) and swung into United Noodles with my ramen recipe. The store is immaculate and well organized. The woman working the counter was super helpful and showed me where all my ingredients were located. They have an impressive selection of Asian and Hawaiian brands. I'm looking forward to shopping here more often!
