That's about all I look for when it comes to a gas station. However, like other reviewers have mentioned, the lot is very small and the location is very busy. The lanes aren't quite wide enough for them to be two way, but they are set up to be. I warn you to be careful of inexperienced drivers taking wide turns. As one of the only two Holiday locations in Minneapolis, this is issue is unsurprising, but for those of you planning ahead for your next stop, I'd recommend going to a gas station with more space. This spacial issue is especially prevalent when your truck battery dies and you need to get it jump started. I was on my way to a job sight when I noticed my gas tank was on empty. I stopped at this gas station because it was the closest. After filling up, I tried to start the truck again and it wouldn't start! Not to worry, this issue was quickly remedied but a helpful stranger willing to help jumpstart the truck! Thanks again Ty! Overall, I enjoyed my unexpectedly long trip to this Holiday though I hope I don't end up in this situation again.

The gal was on the phone, the guy stuttered for a long seconds with "uhhhhhhhh.....it starts at $35". I asked him why does it costs less than an oil change, the stated price on the sign board, in their shop, for $30. He said: that's inside. I said: What's the difference between inside and outside? He replies: well...that's the advertised price inside, in the event that we run a special. Normally, an oil change costs $70. Really? They're in the business of slashing 60% off? Terrible liar. After sensing a complete bait-n-switch with a flavor ful of up-pricing, I just leave. How hard is it to move 2 tires from the back to the front, and vice versa? And, for $35? Ha! I tried looking for a drink and it wasn't there, he passed by and I asked him if they had it. He came back with one. I then asked if he minded if I had another. Without hesitation or looking annoyed/frustrated he went right back to the cooler and got it for me. It's nice not feeling like a burden in certain situations. It was a busy day and they had 3 people on the registers, Chris immediately went behind the counter to start helping out - I love seeing that! At this location I have yet to try their coffee or hot foods, but they look delicious and are on my list to try. Since COVID is still present in the area, they have little "6 ft away" stickers on the ground for places people can stand to maintain distance. Their "start here" line for the cash register can be a bit confusing as the divider to guide people to the registers is off to the side and most of the time I go in here the line is always in a different direction. Not a dealbreaker but just something I've noticed whenever I visit. All that matters is we all form some type of line and get the items we need! Visited this location recently and once again had Chris when I was checking out, he's very kind and friendly, greeting everyone that comes to him! I love that there are so many options from "make your own coffee" to hot goods on the rollers (hot dogs and the like) as well as sandwiches on the other side. The bakery section is always stocked with doughnuts and sweets, as well as their AMAZING muffins! Like most gas stations they have snacks, chips, all sorts of drinks, and misc items. This location is always packed/busy when I go but they are really efficient at keeping the lines of customers out the door quickly! Location: It is on the corner of Lake near the on ramp to 35. At the pump, I looked to see if there was a sticker saying you had to prepay (cash) before pumping. There was none. I lifted the nozzle, chose Pay Inside and the grade of gas I wanted. The screen said, "Waiting for Cashier Approval". I waited and waited and waited and waited. Suddenly a large African American man came around the corner of my truck and yelled, "What's going on over here?!!" I noted the screen said waiting for approval and I was waiting for that to happen. He yelled, "You have to put your card in the reader!" I told him I was paying in cash. He yelled, "You have to push "Pay Inside". I told him I already did that. Then he yelled, "You have to pay inside first before you can pump!!!" I asked why there wasn't a sticker on the pump to indicate that to the customer (as I've seen such stickers on places who do have that requirement). He again yelled, "There are no pumps in the country where you can pump before paying cash. You always have to pay first!!!" (Calm down already). So I went in to pay in cash first and he continued on and on and on about how there are no pumps in the United States where you can pump before paying and how stupid was I to think so! I told him there certainly are stations where you can pump first and then go inside and pay. He called me a liar and asked me to show him such a place. I told him about another Marathon station in NE Mpls on Johnson Street where I buy gas frequently. I pump first, then go in and pay. And there are quite a few other places where I buy gas that do the same. He called me a liar again and again claimed there are no such gas stations in the United States. So it appears this employee is grossly misinformed and would rather argue with a customer and call customers liars than admit he is wrong or at least could be mistaken. Oh well, it's not like have to ever buy gas at his place again and I won't. Why would anybody subsidize this behavior? To be clear, I have no problem with paying cash first before pumping gas. But every place I've previously encountered that requires this has had a sticker on the pump so you know what to do. Since this pump did not (and I've pumped-first, paid-after at other Marathon stations), it came as a surprise to me when Mr. Yelling Employee came barreling around my truck lambasting me with his incorrect information about how all the gas pumps in the entire United States work. To the manager of this place, Mr. Yelling Employee desperately needs some intense customer service training. Or just fire him. He was the one ringing up customers at about 12:55 pm on 5-3-2025. He reflects very poorly on your business. I can only image the type of encounters other customers have had with this individual.
