After months of coming here once a week or more I feel it's pretty safe to say: it's a pretty mixed…read morebag. Often my coffee is perfect and everything is fine, but equally often my order is completely incorrect. Getting a full flavored latte vs light flavor. Or getting handed a bragel with extra cream cheese vs when I asked for none. Forgivable, honest mistakes that happen in a busy place. Today, however, was super frustrating. The barista added whipped cream to what was supposed to be a latte with a single pump of chai. She was annoyed (I assume with herself) and asked me if I wanted to try whipped cream on my chai charger. I was trying to clarify the drink that the barista had made (to make sure it was what I ordered) and started arguing with me about what a chai charger was. I gave up and walked away, only to find she had in-fact made it full-flavor. EDIT: Two hours later I went back up and ordered the same thing again. It was, again, made incorrectly. She called it out as a "Chai latte with one pump less of flavor". I again asked her to clarify, and then had to explain to her twice what I actually ordered and had to *ask* her to remake it the right way. Ugh.

Stopped here this morning for the first time. It was teacher appreciation day, so they were giving…read moreteachers a free 16oz drink. I got there right when they opened, so there was no line, very quick. The staff was friendly and my drink was pretty good. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the drink would have cost over $5 if I hadn't gotten mine for free. Seems a little pricey, so I wouldn't come here frequently.

Gosh, I didn't know what I was missing. This is a true IYKYK! Once you have visited Horrocks, you will return for life. This is a magnificent, rustic, unique, expansive establishment that offers a cornucopia of items. From floral, to meats, cheeses, wine, speciality items, fruits, snacks, vegetables, hard-to-find items and more. There is so much more! Things that stood out even though I loved everything about this place: -the vast selection of canisters of olive oils -the vast array of different varieties of balsamic vinegars (amazing!) -house made items in every area -house made popcorn with so many flavors, so fresh. -the many, many homemade soups: probably around 20 different kinds and delicious. -a ramen bar, what? -bakery -pizzeria -exotic fruits and vegetables and regulars ones too -the wine bar: sip while you shop. -house-made sausages and cheeses -house-made jams, jellies, local honey -extensive variety of spices, herbs, flour and grains - great service, very helpful. This is a must try and truly a destination. I cannot wait to shop and browse here again!

Picture a massive Costco sized store, but instead of big brand bulk items, it's local delicious specialty food items. You can find interesting things here. I recommend you set aside two hours to explore. I'm serious. They have a bar that also includes non-alcoholic beverages and the shopping carts include a cup holder. Where to start though? Fruits, vegetables, soup bar, cheese galore, huge candy bar with Michigan fudge... Lots of frozen meats and vegetable packs, a chilled dairy room, fresh sausages. Oh, the COFFEE and the OIL section?! Yes, you can taste the different oil flavors. And you can and will find the coffee that suits any taste. I make a 1.5 hour drive to go here every now and then, and it's always worth it. Bring reusable bags to keep your frozen food cold. And don't step in the plant section unless you want to come home with some flowers or a pretty plant, it's too tempting! I'm not saying anymore. Either you go or you miss out on the magic
