I should have stopped at the RaceTrac but this smaller gas station was on the side of the road I was traveling so even though it was a couple cents more I opted for convenience. I pulled up to pump 13, entered my card, and clicked the handle of the pump so I didn't have to keep squeezing it. When it got to my desired amount I tried to release the handle and it was stuck. I couldn't turn the pump off. While wrestling with the handle the gas started spraying me, my car, and the ground. I am lucky it didn't get in my eye and blind me not to mention the danger of catching on fire. I went inside to get some help and nothing. No manager on duty, no offer to help clean up, no concern, couldn't care less that I sprayed $10 of gas everywhere. All I got was a phone number to call. I had to drive home covered in gas on hold for an hour before I could reach a live person in customer service. They gave me a case number and said they would check the cameras. I will never stop at a Speedway again. In near 30 years of pumping gas I have never had anything like this happen to me. The smell of gas is still in Apple watch. I can't get rid of it. On my way home I saw a Wawa less than a mile down the road from the Speedway. If only I had known I would have stopped there. Avoid this Speedway at all costs. read more

Plenty of pumps, never super busy. Great to be able to get in and out quickly!! We visit a lot of Speedways to rack up our points, but recommend this location if you're in Davie. read more

Clean place, plenty of pumps so even tho is always busy theres plenty of pumps! Their convenience store inside offers a variety of coffees and even sandwiches! You do get bonus points and a $.10cents off per gallon if you use their card! read more

I generally like Speedway for their convenient locations to fuel up and their convenient stores to grab a bite or drink quickly. They also have a Speedway rewards program that awards points on your fuel or store purchases. Tip #1- even if you use a corporate fueling card like I do, you can swipe your speedway card first. On this visit, I fueled up my rental and went inside the store for a Gatorade and snack. Gatorade was 2 for $3, nice score. Careful of this gas station, fraudulent charges were made using my card info (I paid at the pump). I know it was this station b/c immediately after putting in my pin, it said "Please see cashier." I thought to myself hmm that's weird I know for a fact I have money in this account. Right when I was about to go inside to see the cashier, my bank sent me a text alerting me to fraudulent charges totaling $650. I understand this can happen at any gas station, so I am not blaming this location for the fraud. The reason for my one star is b/c when I notified the two employees (a young lady and a young man) as to what happened, they got defensive as if I was saying Speedway charged my card. I explained to them that I am notifying them not to blame, but so they could shut down that pump or at least put up an out of order sign so they can inspect it. I logged into my bank's app to show the employees the multiple charges that were just made and the young lady's response was, "that says Ohio not Florida." Umm DUH again I'm not saying Speedway charged me $650, I'm saying criminals are using your pumps to steal so obviously the charges aren't going to say Speedway smh. The next day, I drove by the same pump to see if they put up a sign. Surprise, they didn't! So they care nothing about protecting their customers. I was working for the speedway on davie rd for 5 days the asst mgr is rude and nasty she does not know how treat ppl she does not know how to pull her employees over to tell them when something was done wrong she is not professional at all so I walked out on her on my last day and I never went back. Thank goodness there are other gas stations in the area because the Spanish woman (I believe her name is Maria) who works in the evenings is a total nightmare!!! I never leave bad reviews but this one is necessary. She's so rude for no reason. I can't even chalk it up to maybe she's having an off day because it is EVERY SINGLE TIME! This is the most convenient to walk to without having to cross the street so sometimes I'm forced to pop in here but my goodness it's never a pleasurable experience. And believe me sometimes I WILL go elsewhere just to avoid dealing with her. I just went in to pay for gas and get change for air and rather than the NEW associate giving me 4 quarters she gave 3 quarters and a $1 coin. We tried telling her that she gave us too much and the miserable woman started yelling "no we don't have change! We don't have it!" She wasn't even listening to us try to explain that we were given too much. We go back in with the overage in smaller coins and the poor new girl was dealing with another customer who needed a refund for the wrong type of gas and rather than training her she just stood there and offered ZERO assistance. Horrible service! All the workers were aware of me as they were talking amongst themselves while I waited to be checked out. After patiently waiting for them to finish their conversation I decided to go to another store and the cashier offered me service as I walked out. My sister went into the store afterwards to attempt to purchase our drinks and the workers were still talking. The cashier said In Spanish "He sent his girlfriend in here now" as my sister walked in. When the cashier finally helped her, the cashier stated rude comments such as "She smells bad" in Spanish not knowing that my sister understands Spanish. The Cashier yelled and got really rude, the other employee behind the counter wasn't doing anything. Apparently there wasn't a manger there and the cashier did not have a name tag nor wanted to provide her name. None of the employees in the store wanted to provide cashiers name. Absolutely horrible customer service as I go out of my way almost everyday to come to this location! Today I had an email coupon I scanned it through spot you and the attendant deleted it before she could scan the code and charged me full price I asked her why it's still full price? She told me that she deleted the code. I asked her if she was still going to honor it? She told me no!!!! Maybe they should do a little more employee training as to customer service!! This is the worst gas station I've ever visited. This is the closest location to my residence and I avoid this place at all costs. First of all their pumps are always really slow. This would be a minor inconvenience but the worst part is how the store is run. There will be a line of 8 people and they'll have one register open. They'll have 2 other employees working but one was talking to a group of his personal friends and the other was restocking coffee creamers. Open up another register for 10 minutes until the line goes down. But the reason I'm writing this review is because last night I went there and grabbed some chocolate milk and it was spoiled. We just had hurricane Irma and they are apperntly selling their supplies that got ruined during the storm. This place is not to be trusted. I would go across the street to the Racetrack if you need gas in this area. read more
