I was here the day after Christmas around 11 o'clock and nobody was in here. I was hoping to find some 50% off Christmas goodies, but failed. I did buy two small packs of Walkers shortbread stars, so it wasn't a total bummer of a visit.

I actually ordered one on the CVS website but they haven't even shipped it yet so I had to go to a physical store and find another one. I called before going and they said the pharmacy has some. I arrived at the pharmacy, was ignored for a few minutes, and then they said they had some back there - but they did not, so I should check the front. I went to the front and the cashier said they had a few and asked me how many I wanted. I would go back to the CVS if in the area but I think I will stick to my 14 Mile one otherwise.

I went to fill a prescription that I have been filling there for the last 15 weeks and Maria. I told her that I would bypass my insurance and pay cash like I have been doing for the last 15 weeks and she stated that it was a violation of CVS policy to allow me to pay cash and bypass insurance. I explained that it was my legal right to pay cash for my medication and not my insurance and she stated that CVS policy supersedes Federal law. I recorded the conversation. I have called CVS customer service and the executive pharmacist. Steven returned my call and said they were going to escalate it. I will be without medication starting tomorrow. I will no longer use this Pharmacy. I will find a mom and Pop local pharmacy and start using them for my medication. When a pharmacist tells you that policy supersedes law, there is a legal issue. According to the law, I can pay cash for my prescriptions.

Not to sound like the Penthouse Forum, but I've walked in on the clerk having sex not once, but…read moretwice. This is not a good thing. This 7-11 is different from the other two 7-11s in the area because it's closer to me, and is crummier. They never seem to have what I need (it's small, but pita bread would be nice), and the guy behind the counter always seems more concerned with his girlfriend than the customers. The parking lot (like most 7-11s) is cramped, and hard to park in. Plus, the liquor store right next door has twice the space, and I never have to worry about the staff copulating when I enter. If you really need 7-11 (maybe if you're a Slushy addict or something), go to the other one that's literally 1 mile north.
