We stopped by The Farmhouse Cafe in Cheney, Washington for a little dessert and coffee, and we're…read moreso glad we did! We enjoyed the huckleberry peach cobbler topped with ice cream, along with a nice cup of coffee. The cobbler was absolutely delicious--the perfect combination of sweet huckleberries and peaches, especially with that scoop of ice cream on top! While we were there, we checked out the rest of the menu, and everything looked delicious. We'll definitely have to come back hungry next time and try a full meal! If you're ever in Cheney, WA, The Farmhouse Cafe is definitely worth a stop. Great food, delicious dessert, and a good cup of coffee!

The restaurant seems to be a family ran business. Sadly, this review isn't good. We went on Sunday around 11:30 AM. The restaurant wasn't busy, only 3 other tables there. We ordered a basket of buttermilk biscuits as an appetizer. My husband ordered a Loaded Breakfast Burrito. My mom ordered the Florentine Benedict with house potatoes. I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer of biscuits. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I don't know why it took so long. It took another 10 minutes to get our food. 40 minutes for food is ridiculous, especially classic breakfast food! Our server didn't come by with any update while we waited. My husband loved his breakfast burrito! My mom enjoyed her Florentine Benedict. I didn't like my Eggs Benedict. The Benedict serving was huge! The hollandaise sauce covered half the plate! The portion of the smoked ham was generous, but not proportional. The amount of ham was too salty for the meal. My mom and I agreed the hollandaise sauce was overwhelming and bland. I added pictures of our leftover Eggs Benedict, still so much hollandaise sauce left. The hash browns were salty to me, but I am sensitive to salt. I'd come back for the biscuits. The portions were big, but bigger isn't always better. Bene's, another breakfast restaurant down the street is exceedingly better for Eggs Benedict.

Following what others have already stated, everything we ordered was absolutely perfection! I've…read morenever been able to say that about any dining experience ever. I was SO thrilled that this was the first time I could eat a buffalo wing chicken flat properly. The bones just slid right out. By the way, the appetizers in the pix were half eaten. LOL We couldn't wait to dig in and forgot the initial picture. The onion rings were not only crispy, but you could get a clean bite without stringing the onion through. The fried pickles were spears and not overly salty chips! The bacon on the burger was a quality that supersedes any fine dining restaurants order of bacon as a side as it was hearty, thick, crunchy and flavorful. The oil everything was fried in didn't have a hint of fish flavor or old taste either. It did seem that they were still training server staff as there were several stops at our table with other patron's drinks and food before it found its rightful owner. It was kinda fun to view other dishes as this was our first visit. It is a tad on the pricy side, but if you are looking for quality food cooked correctly, it'll be worth it, just maybe not every week. LOL The drinks from the lounge were absolute heaven, although again, small glasses and lots of ice with a big price tag. The one thing I will have to pick on just a tad is the signs claim of "fine" dining. There's always room for improvement right? Now I'm not saying at ALL that their establishment needs improvement, only that if I'm looking for fine dining...it will entail more comfortable seating and a less cafeteria environment, staff not adorned in t-shirts and jeans, and more on the menu that isn't typical bar fare. They could use some more Dinner style items on the menu. All in all, don't miss, worth the trip if you don't mind paying a little more for a memorable meal.

They appear to be out of business. It was a great restaurant/bar to go to when camping over at the…read moreLittle Diamond KOA.
