I was a random walk-in customer. 2nd time here in 5 years. I bought a battery and had to install it in the parking lot. As I was installing the new battery the gentleman recommended. I had an issue with something. I went inside and asks if they could grind something down for me in the back. The guy said of course. He went back and ran the grinder. Handed me the part back. I asked to buy him lunch and he declined with a smile and said he was glad he could help. This is the number 1 reason I come to Napa anywhere in the United States. They are ALL ran by local car dudes that just want to help and provide great customer service. I highly doubt this would happen at pep boys or Walmart auto center. So thanks fellas. read more

I have been to many states, but I have never seen customer service like this. Teach your employees how to communicate with customers. If they have problems at home, let them leave them at home and not pass them on to the customers. I asked to spell out the name of the parts so I could write it down, but the worker started spelling it quickly and rudely, as if he didn't want to do it. No offense, but if a female walks into a shop, at no point should she have to feel like she needs to prove her knowledge of what shes trying to purchase. I heard good things about this place, but first off, driving to the back where napa and sec is, I'm fairly certain I completely jacked up my tires...y'all should think about paving that. Next, your parking lot is about the size of a drive way in fishtown....if you squint you can find a spot. Then you walk into this dingy poorly lit "building" and bam...a bell rings and suddenly a bunch of the most pompous men ever suddenly know kore than you about the car you built up yourself. Yeah. I don't know Speed Equipment Corp or Troy J. but I do know the automotive business, and if you buy an electrical part, install it in the vehicle and find out that the part was not the problem, you can not return the part. The seller can not sell the part as new, as it has been installed and is not used, and it may have been damaged when it was plugged into the electrical system, so I agree with the seller. This is why you take the vehicle to a professional technician and have him diagnose the problem. read more

This will be the one and only time I use this business as I purchased a Blower motor resistor for a 2008 expedition believing this was the defective part it turned out to be the blower motor itself was bad and not the resistor .I attempted to return part and was informed that" we don't return test equipment " . I in good faith bought the part believing it to be the problem which it was not . I said fine for 99.10 they lost my business, no were does it say it can't be returned. Live and learn and at least have a spare part, but will not do business there again. I recommend you do business else where ,especially if you buy the wrong part the first time. 100 DOLLARS to lose a customer not out to get over but just a mistake on which part was bad, for me cheap for them a lifetime of buisness.
