There's a strong emphasis on supporting the whole student, and we're encouraged to continue our education and professional growth so we can better meet their needs in all areas. What really stands out is the support from the admin team. They don't just oversee they listen, guide, and help us grow into better teachers. You never feel like you're doing it alone here. I work at the middle school/high school, and I honestly love the culture. The staff here are fun, positive, and genuinely work well together. We all have the same goal: helping students succeed and feel seen. The staff and administration present as if they thrive off parent involvement and accountability when in actuality they want the students to simply know the answers and test high, with no interaction from parents and when parents step in to seek guidance, support or clarification and attempt to hold staff and administration accountable they find any reason they can to paint the parent as the issue. Not only have I filed a police report against a teacher this year, I am now on my THIRD formal complaint with the board, have pulled my child and will be moving forward with legal steps. If you are an active, involved, and communicative parent this school will not be supportive. They focus on high score students and if your child begins to struggle in any capacity.. well it's up to your child to figure it out because 9 year olds are expected to be independent with their academic career. All while the administration allows for staff to intimidate, harass, bully, and use bias towards youth.

Corte Sierra is one of the safest and advanced schools in my opinion. They have done amazing at being support for my son who needed speech services, all the way to bullying. Some of the teachers are original teachers from when I was in 3rd grade back in 2002/2003. I travel 14 miles to and from to get my kids to CSE and it's worth every penny.

From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have gone above and beyond--not just to "watch" the kids, but to truly teach, nurture, and connect with them. The growth I've seen in my children has been incredible. My oldest has graduated out but my youngest comes home excited, confident, and full of new things he's learned. What stands out most to me is how intentional the focus is on true development and connection. They don't teach just about letters, numbers, or milestones--they help each child grow into themselves with kindness, curiosity, and confidence. As a parent, specifically a single parent, I'm especially grateful for how seamlessly their approach aligns with the way I raise my children at home. The parallels between their teaching style and my parenting make it easy for my kids to absorb and retain what they're learning, which has made a huge difference in their growth. It's rare to find a place where you feel your children are not only safe, but also understood, supported, and genuinely loved. That's exactly what this center has given us. Lots of mis-communication between staff (teachers, administrative and bus drivers) My daughter loves this school. It is a charter school. Uniforms are a must and Fridays are Dollar for Duds ($1 to dress casual) the money goes to the school or charities. It needs a lot of work but I know they will improve fast since it is a newer school.

We found where we belong at Heritage Elementary. From the curriculum offered to the respect given to students and their families. Students are allowed to be themselves in a welcoming and secure learning environment. The environment at this school allows students to grow and encourages them to strive to be even better. My children regained their confidence thanks to the staff at this school. They felt welcomed from the moment they stepped in the front office: With each staff member we encountered, the welcoming feeling grew even stronger.
