The staff and administration present as if they thrive off parent involvement and accountability when in actuality they want the students to simply know the answers and test high, with no interaction from parents and when parents step in to seek guidance, support or clarification and attempt to hold staff and administration accountable they find any reason they can to paint the parent as the issue. Not only have I filed a police report against a teacher this year, I am now on my THIRD formal complaint with the board, have pulled my child and will be moving forward with legal steps. Corte Sierra is one of the safest and advanced schools in my opinion. They have done amazing at being support for my son who needed speech services, all the way to bullying. Some of the teachers are original teachers from when I was in 3rd grade back in 2002/2003. I travel 14 miles to and from to get my kids to CSE and it's worth every penny.

Lots of mis-communication between staff (teachers, administrative and bus drivers) My daughter loves this school. It is a charter school. Uniforms are a must and Fridays are Dollar for Duds ($1 to dress casual) the money goes to the school or charities. It needs a lot of work but I know they will improve fast since it is a newer school.
