    Spectrum Wi-Fi is horrible ! Their service always is out ! Their business practices are bait and switch. I'm moving on.

Every interaction feels like a stressful nightmare because nothing is ever handled correctly the first time. I recently discovered I had been paying for FOUR inactive lines with no devices attached for nearly three years. Then when I called to disconnect those lines, Verizon somehow disconnected MY actual phone number instead while still trying to keep hotspot charges on my account. The constant hidden fees, billing mistakes, activation charges, and "upgrade fees" on supposedly "free" phones are beyond ridiculous. Why is a customer of nearly three decades still being charged activation and upgrade fees? Meanwhile, my daughter switched to T-Mobile, paid zero activation fees, zero upgrade fees, kept her phone, and her bill was exactly what she was promised. Imagine that... honesty and competent customer service. Verizon clearly no longer values loyalty, because long-term customers are treated like walking wallets instead of valued customers.     So disappointed as I was really looking forward to moving my service to Frontier/ Verizon Fios…read more However this was not to be. My original install was scheduled for July 5th. When no equipment or installers arrived, I spent an hour and a half on the telephone trying to sort it out. The four people I spoke with all apologized and couldn't understand why or how it had been canceled. An email arrived advising that I was to do a self install, although no equipment has ever been sent and it would be impossible for me to install FIOS! Another install was scheduled and assurances made that the installers would in fact come the following week July 10, and the equipment would be there prior to that date. When no equipment arrived and they did not show for a 2nd time today, I called in to cancel. 6 different people all politely apologized to me and tried to assure me that they would come on a third scheduled appointment on the 12th! Seriously? Imagine my surprise when I received a bill today from Frontier for services started on July 5 ( original scheduled install date) Dennis in the retention department finally was able to cancel my order, cancel my account, and request credit removing all charges. Yet it will be 7-10 days for approval, he tells me not to pay this account, and there shouldn't be a problem. I have an order confirmation # and it won't be a surprise to me if I have to follow up on this also. I have no confidence in Frontier after so many blunders and wasted time. My service was never even started, but they are billing me for it. Each time I have had to call in, it take several people and about an hour and a half transferring you between departments. Do you have time for this? I would hope this organization takes a real look at their lack of communication between departments and becomes more proactive than apologetic.

Then you will have to call them back and wait 30 minutes then explain to the rep only to be transferred to support with a grand total of 2 hrs on the phone.     While the service is working, their Fiber 1Gig options is very quick, however, I just had my first…read moreoutage today (4 weeks after install) and the customer service is non-existent. Regarding customer service alone, it would be a zero rating. First, went to their app, but it insisted that no outages were present in my area (well, that was false). Then started a chat, but the bot went on for 1.5 hours with notices of please wait ... finding an agent. About 45 minutes in, I also called customer service, only to stay on hold with no help for another 45 minutes, with constant message for me to try out the Frontier App. Finally, I received a text, where Frontier acknowledged that there was in fact a "data outage" and to expect a fix in another 2 hours. During this time I was never able to speak with a real person via chat or phone.

I use wireless for my work so I was in a very unpleasant situation the last two weeks of living in our home. This is the only utility company I have ever heard of that shuts down services without speaking to the homeowner first to verify. Then, to top things off, they had the audacity to send us a $58.00 bill, with threat of collection, for a disconnect fee, two months after we left the property. Yes, you read that right - they charged us $58.00 as a final con job and then told us they do this to everyone when they end their service with them.

I've been one of the customers at an AT&T Store that needed like an hour with a service representative. But if you know that your store provides services that take an hour, it is ridiculous to only have a single person in the store. I came on a weekday, well after lunch. I was greeted, and it didnt take long to know this wasn't going to be a quick in and out for me. I took a seat. I waited at least 25 minutes before another person came in. He stood by a table, still as anything. The Lone Worker went over to him (WTF I've been here almost half an hour?) asked what he was going to need, he said he wanted to buy this thing. Lone Worker said it would be a minute. Walked by me to the back. GOOD, I thought she was getting another body on the floor. NOPE. When she returned, she went right back to the original people, carried on. After about ten more minutes, the first guy left. Soon after, another fellow came in. He was greeted, and then ignored. More time passed, and after about 45 minutes of my total wait time, the Lone Worker asked what I was going to need (Still not done with original customers). Turns out - I COULD HAVE DONE IT ONLINE. I was mad as hell. Not at the Lone Worker, but at whoever schedules this store. Had another human employee been there, I would not have wasted 45 minutes of my life, they would have sold that one guy the thing he definitely wanted, and probably taken care of the last guy too. (The guys working there seemed as if the pod people from Invasion of the Body Snatchers had already switched them out. No lie.) But, hey, let's focus on the good folks at the Gunn Highway location. I needed to replace my glass-based screen protector and my SIM card. I arrived within 20 minutes of closing time. I explained I could come back if it would affect their closing. Candice said, "nothin doin!" (OK I took some liberties with the dialogue recreation. I mean, heck, folks haven't said that since, what, the 1950s? LOL) Anyway, she did a great job. Carlos participated in the discussion and taught me some things about the iPhone I didn't know. TL;DR: Convenient location! Great folks! I recommend you check them out.
