I called Spectrum intending to cancel my TV service because of the cost, and I was fortunate enough to speak with Sebastian in Austin, TX. Not only was he friendly, professional, and informative, but he also took the time to review my account and find ways to lower both my internet and TV bill. On top of that, he helped reduce my mobile bill as well. I usually dread calling customer service because it can be frustrating and time-consuming, but Sebastian completely changed that experience. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care about helping me find the best solution. If there were more people like Sebastian in customer service, calling these companies would be a much more pleasant experience. Thank you, Sebastian, for going above and beyond! read more

Fiber internet with only like 20mbps up. 500 down is great, but very misleading they totally neuter you with that abysmal upload speed to convince you to pay for 1 gig symmetrical. 300 symmetrical would be plenty for my household. Silly. read more

They can improve their vampiric billing. Their inability to pro-Rate. Their lack of options to retain previous plans... instead shooting up 40-50 dollars after the fact. Major price gouging. I went to Astound instead. Glad I work for Apple, will tell lots of people to avoid Spectrum. read more

The free offer to test mobile service with new internet service - DO NOT DO IT. It's not worth it. My internet is down and unable to use my phone service. The only thing their customer service was able to do for me is send me a Sim card for my 1 month old phone and new service. I just buffers. read more

Outstanding Service at Spectrum Mobile - 22702 US 281 North, San Antonio, TX 78258 I want to sincerely thank the team at this Spectrum location for their exceptional service and support. Manager Matt leads with integrity and professionalism, creating an atmosphere where customers feel truly valued. A few days later, Alexandra stepped in to assist with a very complicated and challenging issue, and she handled it with grace, clarity, and determination. Overpriced for what they're offering! I found a less expensive WiFi carrier that doesn't gouge their customers. I would have given a 1/32 of a star or less, (negative stars would be nice.), if it was available! Thanks. read more

i had spectrum internet for over 3 years and they kept going up every year until i just swithched! they told me i would not get another bill as long as i turned in the equipment, which i did. weeks later, they took another payment from me and said they don't prorate any more. they never said i should wait until a certain day to cancel. so i ended up paying for 2 services in 1 month. when i called to complain, all the way up to supervisor level, he offered to send back the equipment to use until the end of the month..... really? my advise to everyone out there is "stay away from spectrum". too many outages and they offer low prices to get you in. and when they say you can get the current promotion when yours expire. that's not totally true. it depends on who you get on the phone. smh! ‍never again!!!! read more

I always process payment via bill pay from my bank . Spectrum received the payment but hadn't posted it to my account yet. The collections calls started I explained to 15 collections representatives about Spectrum having the check confirmed by my bank . Guess what today during my work from home shift Spectrum disconnected my services while I was on the phone with a customer. I paid using my debit card it took them 15 mins to restore my services. Spectrum will now be doubled paid this month do you think I'll get a refund no I was told I'll have to file a dispute with my bank . Spectrum has the worst customer service ever! read more

i spoke with customer service- associate was nice pleasant- we discussed adding modest Television service- so I could drop Dish- I currently get existing phone and internet Package- from Spectrum- their pricing seemed reasonable- I am not gonna save a lot- by doing this, We discussed pricing- I never even gave them the Verbal okay- agreeing to this price deal- to send me the DVR television box- i was just shopping- get pricing- channel info etc. then the girl informs me the box will be at my doorstep on Tuesday- and I should wire it in myself. I did not even get the chance to review the channel line-up yet- being emailed to me to see if it meets my needs. - Its strong-arm the customer into opening the box and agree to something- Today, right now- that's when i went ballistic- once i was informed the box is on its way- Huh? I made it very clear- that it better not be- i will use a hammer on it- return it in shambles- Who of sane mind- would deal with a company like this !! and the pressure to swap my phone plan over- to them was more strong-Arm tactics- i like my phone plan- its $15 per month- so right at this moment- Dish network is not looking that bad- no Rain- so my picture is clear- what an Experience- with the office in san antonio is it- ?? Complain about dish- if you must- but I really think- Spectrum are akin to organized crime- Maybe why i cancelled with them 11 years ago- and now doubt I will ever return as a Customer- i only called in for pricing- and a few days to sleep on it- ?? unheard of with these Texas bullies- take your cable- and Cram it- new england customer- on High blood pressure medicine- I just popped three more pills- Can u believe the stones on this Company ?? adios- Hopefully forever read more

0/00000000000 I just got yelled at and told I am not a customer. My husband and I are military. We move a lot. We have phone lines, internet lines and BECAUSE we changed our address it's consIDERED A WHOLE NEW ACCOUNT and I am not a customer nor authorization user. THIS MAKES NO SENSE !!!! I can't keep calling to add myself. This is a joke. I need to get my internet without my husband being here. I need to get settled in but I can't because I'm not considered a customer. And than the managers pretty much said I have no say and they have all the say so anything I complain about won't even be considered. I know understand all the bad reviews. Your instore service is SLOW. When there are 13 people waiting all customer stations should be used. In between customers it seems to take long time to call next customer. There is absolutely no sense of urgency at this location and it is clear they do not value their customers time. Someone from Spectrum came to our house while we were out of town and installed a ground wire to our Spectrum box. Great! right? They left the control box open and left our fence gate open. Neighborhood dogs got into the yard and destroyed or carried off my wife gardening equipment and other person belonging. We found a few things scattered around the neighbors yards. Really $shitte work. What a load of crap. Spectrum sucks especially with a 35% rate hike last month. read more

Called to drop Spectrum TV. The Inter net speed is so spotty that the TV does not work. After giving it three months to improve I called to drop the service. When the customer service found out why I was calling they hung up on me four tims after having me wait 20 + min each time read more

This was the place that was the last straw lol. I had asked to switch to their devices and was first sent just the modem lol. Kept using mine cause they said for me to drive to a store and pick up the router. Huh what me do their job wow. So now been having trouble with my wifi. Called last month and they are telling me a technician has been inside my place and found something wrong. Again huh what . When and who let them in cause I am the only one who lives here. Their answer was I do not know thats just what it says and they are going to keep calling you about it. Again huh what who is calling me. Nobody has called me about anything. Their responce well they are going to keep calling you. I missed the NCAA mens basketball game cause of spectrum and now it was a playoff game. Left to get something to eat got back and it is out. Called and was told the first time that it might be my device since it is not theirs if it does not come back online in a hour call back. So called back and now it is we cannot service your device you need to get our router so we can trouble shoot. Both times neither person said there was a outage in my area. So went the next day and Jessica gave me a router and the ac plug thats it. got home called to activate and it says i have some issues to resolve first again huh what why didn't Jessica do that when I was at the store. Then it was no cable to connect the 2 devices. Was told we could mail you one or you can go back and get it. I went to Metro and they set their device up for me and showed me how to use it in store. 54 dollars for unlimited data. So Sad lol. Then Spectrum when I wanted to cancel well it takes quite a few last ditch sales offer before you get mad and tell them just cancel. Reminds me of the scammers online who do not listen to you. All in All I finally cut the cord. I hope Spectrum shuts down or gets bought out by somebody else again cause it is worse now and sucks big time. Thanks Jessica for showing me the light. read more

Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) is terrible. I had to get Spectrum at my townhouse as they are the only provider for cable & TV that I can currently use. My HOA does not allow dishes of any type and they are the only one with cable in the ground for my area(sucks for me). When I set up service for Cable and Internet on the phone the lady was trying to upsell me even after I told her I was not interested as I had already done my research. Then I told her that I had a modem and router already and would not need to rent them from Spectrum. Surprise, surprise, what showed up at my door???...Spectrum provided model and router. Now I have to take time off from work to try to return these two devices. I regretted having Time Warner years ago, I am already regretting Spectrum and it has only been a week. On a positive note, I have had plenty of time waiting in the Spectrum store trying to return these devices and write this review. I hope this helps someone out. read more
