Spectrum customer service is terrible/ Spectrum abused autopay service by filing for pmt multiple times Sept Oct November found out because charges due amts changed every cycle/ so in dec I canceled autopay then in Jan they used autopay after I canceled autopay in dec / so account was overdrawn for 2 months in a row and was given free internet for Jan Feb and March/ so situation is unacceptable and seems spectrum basically stole then doesn't make me whole Deserves 0 stars read more

i had spectrum internet for over 3 years and they kept going up every year until i just swithched! they told me i would not get another bill as long as i turned in the equipment, which i did. weeks later, they took another payment from me and said they don't prorate any more. they never said i should wait until a certain day to cancel. so i ended up paying for 2 services in 1 month. when i called to complain, all the way up to supervisor level, he offered to send back the equipment to use until the end of the month..... really? my advise to everyone out there is "stay away from spectrum". too many outages and they offer low prices to get you in. and when they say you can get the current promotion when yours expire. that's not totally true. it depends on who you get on the phone. smh! ‍never again!!!! read more

I always process payment via bill pay from my bank . Spectrum received the payment but hadn't posted it to my account yet. The collections calls started I explained to 15 collections representatives about Spectrum having the check confirmed by my bank . Guess what today during my work from home shift Spectrum disconnected my services while I was on the phone with a customer. I paid using my debit card it took them 15 mins to restore my services. Spectrum will now be doubled paid this month do you think I'll get a refund no I was told I'll have to file a dispute with my bank . Spectrum has the worst customer service ever! read more

i spoke with customer service- associate was nice pleasant- we discussed adding modest Television service- so I could drop Dish- I currently get existing phone and internet Package- from Spectrum- their pricing seemed reasonable- I am not gonna save a lot- by doing this, We discussed pricing- I never even gave them the Verbal okay- agreeing to this price deal- to send me the DVR television box- i was just shopping- get pricing- channel info etc. then the girl informs me the box will be at my doorstep on Tuesday- and I should wire it in myself. I did not even get the chance to review the channel line-up yet- being emailed to me to see if it meets my needs. - Its strong-arm the customer into opening the box and agree to something- Today, right now- that's when i went ballistic- once i was informed the box is on its way- Huh? Someone from Spectrum came to our house while we were out of town and installed a ground wire to our Spectrum box. Great! right? They left the control box open and left our fence gate open. This was the place that was the last straw lol. I had asked to switch to their devices and was first sent just the modem lol. Kept using mine cause they said for me to drive to a store and pick up the router. Huh what me do their job wow. So now been having trouble with my wifi. Called last month and they are telling me a technician has been inside my place and found something wrong. Again huh what . When and who let them in cause I am the only one who lives here. Their answer was I do not know thats just what it says and they are going to keep calling you about it. Again huh what who is calling me. Nobody has called me about anything. Called and was told the first time that it might be my device since it is not theirs if it does not come back online in a hour call back. So called back and now it is we cannot service your device you need to get our router so we can trouble shoot. Both times neither person said there was a outage in my area. So went the next day and Jessica gave me a router and the ac plug thats it. got home called to activate and it says i have some issues to resolve first again huh what why didn't Jessica do that when I was at the store. Then it was no cable to connect the 2 devices. Was told we could mail you one or you can go back and get it. I went to Metro and they set their device up for me and showed me how to use it in store. 54 dollars for unlimited data. So Sad lol. Then Spectrum when I wanted to cancel well it takes quite a few last ditch sales offer before you get mad and tell them just cancel. Reminds me of the scammers online who do not listen to you. I asked if they had another modem because mine wasn't working I was told to sign into a tablet, waited an HOUR for them to tell me they didn't have that kind of modem anymore. SERIOUSLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. they saw my modem in my hand and couldn't told me they didnt have that one but no they decided to be rude and have me wait just to say no we don't carry those in this store. Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) is terrible. I had to get Spectrum at my townhouse as they are the only provider for cable & TV that I can currently use. My HOA does not allow dishes of any type and they are the only one with cable in the ground for my area(sucks for me). When I set up service for Cable and Internet on the phone the lady was trying to upsell me even after I told her I was not interested as I had already done my research. Then I told her that I had a modem and router already and would not need to rent them from Spectrum. Surprise, surprise, what showed up at my door???...Spectrum provided model and router. Now I have to take time off from work to try to return these two devices. I regretted having Time Warner years ago, I am already regretting Spectrum and it has only been a week. On a positive note, I have had plenty of time waiting in the Spectrum store trying to return these devices and write this review. I hope this helps someone out. read more
