I did get an invoice with the previous unpaid payment in there, which I paid in full. In a couple days after, the service was discontinued without a notice of the date it will be interrupted, without any call or notice of the specific date of the discontinue of service. I called and was charged $15 to continue the service for a couple more days until they got the new payment. They did not believe me that the payment was on the way; and that is after 30 years of paying without complaining of their increased fees. They treat their customers terribly.

This last week I have reached out both by the Chat site and by phoning several different DISH customer service numbers, both to no avail. The Chat site agent "chatted" briefly about my inquiry as to "when" we might expect the return of these channels then directed me to connect to a technician which would happen after I paid a $5 fee. REALLY ? So I then tried to call several different times to DISH customer service numbers only to get a recording telling me my wait time to talk to a "real" person would be 45 minutes !!!! I could put a "hold call" on which I then would be notified when they could talk to me but both times that NEVER happened !!!!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I just hope I can reach someone to let them know when we CANCEL our DISH non-service ! So many better options available out there.

    The nightmare is finally over with this internet provider…read more Summary since my last review: -Multiple "unexplained" outages. -Discount periods became less and less where I was calling every two months to get a new one re-applied -Final discount ask was not granted and I was only given a slightly higher speed -Cable re-bury effort after our line got cut was redone 5 times and still kept popping up. They claim to bury 18 inches but it looked like 4 or 5 inches at best -Unexplained bill increases. Most likely pulling back their covid-era speed increases by charging their customers. -Customer service chat/phone call is the worst I've ever dealt with. Agents need to have the issue repeated multiple times. You're reporting an issue and they say "excellent, I'm glad to hear that and hope you're doing well". Either not understanding or not listening. -Canceling was very painful. Could not be done through chat, had to be done over the phone, was transferred 4 times and kept getting asked to renew. I'm still getting calls and emails to reactivate my service. I also had to pay Fedex to ship my equipment back, I couldn't drop them off at this location. I know most internet/cable companies are poor but WOW is by far the worst I've ever had. Avoid at all costs.

Of course I lost everything I had downloaded onto the DVR only to have the same screen freezing happening midway through a downloaded show just like before. Dish Network was sub par, but this Direct TV is even worse. Seems like they don't care enough to get the two networks to mesh correctly for their customers. Can't wait for the fiber optics to be installed next week. I finally won't need the satellite.

Fantastic...sadly only for the first year not 2 as i thought (goes up to $150). love the free movie list, yay free movies, oops only if you subscribe to the channel! Um then it isn't free is it. Im glad direct tv had DVR however know that selecting "record first aired only" means nothing because it will record every season of the show and if you delete a recording it will record it again. The sound is all over the place, i have to turn up and down durning shows. Argh so annoying. i am glad i got the dish planted in the ground instead of on my roof i feel it helps with weather interaction. The one thing i was worried about was it going out in bad weather. Well that issues doesn't exist the one time it went out was during a severe storm and it only lasted 10 mins. Update on that...its summertime apparently clouds are an issue, 80 degrees and no signal! Also one channel has been off for a month now all my true crime :( Also you can restart shows and movies thats awesome, however the show will jump about the quality is only good when you record the show. Another issue is you can set your DVR to record a show that you don't actually get so you can look forward to a movie or show only to find out it didn't record. The internet is great and its fast.
