In the interest of fairness and transparency, I'm disclosing that the issue was resolved after 8 days and additional phone calls by me since my last review. I was offered a modest credit but given the time I spent chasing this down, I remain unsatisfied as a customer and will pursue with the appropriate regulatory and consumer agencies. we sat there for 30 minutes waiting, which is no big issue until one out of two of the workers started arguing with me. i had signed in and my name was printed on the screen of walk in customers, my name had disappeared from the screen without even being helped. when the worker had asked us to sign in after sitting there for 30 minutes i simply and politely replied that i had signed in moments ago and my name wasn't there anymore. he being to interrupt me and say that he's called out 5 names and no one responded. mind you my name was never called and he only called out 2 names that he repeated 5 times and i respectfully said my name wasn't called. he said he didn't want to argue while his voice was beginning to raise and he repeated that he called out names already. he then made a very sassy side remark about me to another customer who had walked in. read more

I spent three days calling Spectrum to verify cancellation request. Took equipment to UPS to return 4 items. UPS gave me return receipt verifying 4 items shipped. UPS tracking verifies shipment received on 12/19. Now email from Spectrum claiming two items missing. Glad I took pictures of four items returned. Cancelling service has been a nightmare! Would not recommend this internet service provider at all. read more

Where do I start? I've been in the store twice. Once to join (shame on me) and service was just so so and once to return equipment after canceling one month in. The store staff had approximately 5 guys working, one changing out signs with a line 8 people deep. Not impressed with the service level at all. The internet service is a joke. My husband worked from home and we were constantly losing service which also affected our Tv. We made it one month before having to change. Let me be clear in that I was NEVER advised that Spectrum charges you month to month with NO prorate. The bill was 9/24, I canceled 9/28 and was charged through 10/24!! They say I electronically accepted this term which I dispute and believe this to be an incredibly DECEPTIVE practice. Now I'm expected to pay this bill and my husband was laid off. Please do not make the mistake of going to spectrum mobile , it's a nightmare bill with horrible service. Was lied to by worker that gets paid on commission, now I'm stuck until I pay off phone or wreck my credit because they won't fix bills ever and their Verizon coverage sucks . Was with Cricket for years before this and trying to find a way back . Do not do it. You will regret it. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service experience, I called to cancel my Internet the first day of the billing cycle, they informed me that they would not pro-rate the bill and proceeded to charge me the entire amount. I was made to pay an entire months service without them providing that service for a single day. read more

Salespeople will not leave me alone. They come at all hours of the day and night. Their service sucks. I had it a year before Bright Ridge brought in fiber optic. It was constantly not working. They refused to send techs out to fix it. Then would claim I'd see an adjustment on my bill, which I never did. These people just can't take no for an answer. I'm happy with my fiber optic and don't want their crappy service. It's bad enough I deal with all the junk mail from them. Now I'm dealing with salespeople constantly stopping by offering "free" internet with a TV package. No thanks. I'll gladly keep paying for my fiber optic that doesn't give me any issues. If you can get fiber optic, I highly recommend it. read more
