On Dec 16th at the Spectrum store in Inverness, Fl, my mother -- who is nearly 70 years old -- was spoken to in a condescending and dismissive manner by an employee named James. She was calm, respectful, and simply asking for help. The response she received was rude, patronizing, and entirely inappropriate. What makes this especially concerning is that this is not an isolated incident. Public reviews going back over a year describe the same behavior by the same employee -- repeated one-star complaints citing disrespect and poor treatment of customers. At this point, this is not a customer service lapse. It is a documented pattern that Spectrum has allowed to continue. When a company fails to intervene after repeated complaints -- particularly when older customers are involved -- accountability shifts from the employee to leadership. I am requesting formal acknowledgment, escalation to regional management, and confirmation that corrective action is being taken. This location is not customer friendly. James waited on me and has the personality of a fence post. Told me I should have returned their equipment to a UPS store instead. I've had Spectrum for over 4 years and have no problem with the internet and TV service. I just moved & they don't serve my new address so I cancelled. The customer service lady on the phone was very helpful when I cancelled and gave me the Inverness store address to return the equipment. I wish I had gone to UPS instead. read more

This is the worst office in the whole company. THE EMPLOYEES are rude and obnoxious. They sold ma a mobile phone with no Sims card .Which is a electronic brick and refuse to help mevwith it theuly have been charging me a regular maintenance fee and refuse to take it back. I wish I had read reviews before switching over for the cheaper. They promised everything on my phone would switch over to the new phone. It seemed like a good deal. But my information didn't all transfer and they took my old phone and sent it out. I don't have my passwords and wasn't aware I'd need them as I didn't ever use them with my old phone. We are new to Spectrum Cellular. Husband was having an issue with apps loading since starting with them. Went to the store and three employees were sitting around chatting, one asks what we need. My husband explains and the guys says, "well it's working now so we can't help you". Seriously?! There were no suggestions, just a crappy attitude and zero help. Needless to say, he is going back to our old carrier and I will pay my phone off early so I can leave too. My husband rarely gets agitated and also doesn't use his phone much, but he was very agitated by the rudeness and attitude of the employee who couldn't be bothered to look into the issue for even 5 minutes. We were in the store for about 1 minute and walked out because he or the other two sitting around wouldn't assist. I rarely write a review, unless absolutely necessary... By all means - DO NOT - switch to Spectrum mobile or Spectrum at all. If your previous provider is uncooperative, delays getting you final documentation, and withdraws funds from your bank account so you can't pay...Spectrum will deny your Mobile Transfer Reimbursement. After speaking with the store staff, customer service (Wanda & Kayla) and team lead (Patricia) on the phone, there are NO EXCEPTIONS. Not once was I told that if there were any delays or complications that I would not receive my reimbursement - I reached out to Spectrum multiple times before the deadline too. Even if you have been a Spectrum client for almost 20 years - no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Wait until you have paid off your current service or, better yet, choose another company. read more

Walked in the store and was rudely treated from the moment I entered. Was there to purchase a brand new ZFold6 and was treated badly. Told they had none in stock and would be lucky if one came on the next shipment in the next four days. After asking for them to order me one they would not. And acted as if I was an inconvenience, instead they told me to call and order one myself. This all happened while 3 employees were standing around doing nothing, and did not have issue with the way I was treated. So.... My service went out for my phone, cable and internet. I called Spectrum and reported this at 6 AM and was told everything should be restored by 8 AM. I called Spectrum back at 9:50 as my service still had not been restored. I was told that there was a outage but everything is working. When the customer service representative checked he found out that my service along with 2 neighbors was still out and hadn't been reported. I repeated that I called Spectrum and reported it at 6 AM. very bad service! i signed up for a year bundle,house phone,internet,cable. then i turned in old cable boxes that were used and out of date when they installed the service to save the rental fee, so one month later they raised my bill, there excuse always is the taxes went up. when in all reality when you try to save they take. they have said i could not get the mobile deal unless i increased internet speed, but i recieved an e mail saying i can, be careful folks this company is highway robbery if your not paying attention! i do not recommend them, unfortunatley they have monopilized the market like att and ma bell back in the day the same crap is going on! read more

Probably one of the worst spectrum stores I've ever been to. You go in and ask about why your account is locked or anything to do with new service and they talk down to you like you're stupid. I've been in the store twice and both times they talk down to you like you're a waste of their time. I had a simple question about why Spectrum told me I had to come to the store to reset my security code and the guy kept saying I had to call spectrum and that they don't deal with resetting security codes. Eventually, he told me my security code, which I wanted from the beginning, but was very disrespectful and rude.
