    I made this Yelp account just for this one specific review and to ensure my distaste for this…read morelocation is known as a good venting session. To sum it up, I came in to pick up a new phone through my warranty and I am not very phone savvy when it comes to the technical aspects. Well before I left, I asked the agent that was helping me if everything was good to go as my iCloud was syncing to my new phone and he ensured me that the iCloud syncing can be done at home. All of that for him to tell me that I can erase my old phone. Well come to find out, nothing on my old phone was transferred and honestly it is very disappointing and a huge inconvenience. Yes I will live on, but I do not recommend coming to this store for absolutely anything, because they more likely than not will become one of your biggest inconveniences for the following days. Now this may just be me venting but seriously, I have to start from scratch and redownload all of my apps and for some of the apps I can't even regain important messages regarding my job. If you are getting a new phone, don't let them fool you, and verify, verify, verify. Ah and I think the guys name is Vincent, I could be wrong, but he's the big dude that wears a mask. Yeah I don't really care, the last place I will be coming to fix a problem is this location. I might as well move to Verizon since I have a clean slate now. I really needed to upgrade my old phone to newer Samsung and it just so happen that TMo was running a promotion of 50% off if you have a Military Plan and verified military. Walking into the store, I got greeted immediately. Both staff were assisting customers, so I had to walk around the store and explore their promotions and devices. I forgot her name, but she was nice, she apologized for my waiting, I was like too easy. I am not surprised this store gets busy all the time, it is located inside the mall. Since it was closing when I came, it wasn't all that bad. I explained to her my concern and what my mission was, that is to get out of the store with the new Samsung Galaxy S9plus in my pocket, I mean more like in a paper bag. She looked into my account and viola, she was like Sure! She asked me what color I wanted, I said Blue. She went in the back to get me the brand new unopened, boxed phone. As easy and fast as that. I left with the new phone, I was thrilled. When I got to my place I noticed that she put in a wrong receipt, oopps. I called the store past 7pm, knowing the store would have been close by that time, but she picked up, and apologized. Those are the qualities of great customer service. I'd make this as my home TMo store. Go Magenta.

I called iFixandRepair and they quoted me for my repair on a Tuesday. By Friday, I had my Apple Watch fixed! Alex did an amazing job on the repair. You can't tell I had it fixed at all. It looks brand new. Very pleased with everyone at the Skibo and Hope Mills location. They were amazing and promptly got my watch fixed for me. I will be taking all repairs to them in the future and will recommend them to all my clients!

    Stopped in to get phone button replacement, phone wouldn't boot up, got there when they opened over…read morethe weekend. First open sign was on but door locked, soon as I pulled the locked door the young man came out and unlocked the door along with a lady who was behind me, the young man looked at the phone and told me if I knew the age of the phone and said it was five years old. The store phone was ringing off the hook and the associate was not thrilled at all. The lady behind me said you need more help or someone to answer the phone, he replied "the boss is a cheap ass" that put à damper on things, then he told me there was nothing to do and to buy a new phone as it's cheaper than the replacement. 150 for the repair is cheaper than a 500 dollar new phone, Yeah.. time to leave... The last time I was in that location for a broken screen there was no issue the older gentleman who was there was great friendly and very helpful and taken the time to replaced the screen. After returned home I searched Google there was a work around the power button and I got the phone to reboot. The strange part it work around was posted by ifix posts. Lesson learned, don't go on the weekend. Cheers ** Update for 5/9/26** Went to west Fayetteville location to have CPU swap on phone, gentleman working was great, he knows his craft and very dedicated and loyal employee. I understand why the gentleman at the Skibo location was upset mostly due to mismanagement by the owner of the Cumberland county location's and not knowing if their locations will close due to mismanagement. The gentleman repaired my phone in 30 mins and there was no missing information or problems with any part of my phone. The handful of employees left working these locations are very dedicated to their craft and to the brand. Management a different story. Good luck moving forward to these employees! Cheers!

    I am writing to express my absolute frustration and disappointment with Asurion/Verizon's handling…read moreof my teacher's device return. The situation is completely unacceptable, and the lack of accountability on your end is astonishing. My teacher returned a brand new device, in perfect condition, exactly as instructed. She followed every step of your return process, shipped the device back promptly, and has confirmation that it was received. However, despite doing everything correctly, she is still being denied the $229 refund that she is rightfully owed. There is no excuse for this. There is no justification for this delay. And there is certainly no reason a customer should have to chase down money that rightfully belongs to them after fulfilling their part of the agreement. You have created an undue burden on a loyal customer who has done nothing but trust your process, only to be met with the runaround and no results. Instead of following your own policies, you have left my teacher waiting, calling, and getting nowhere. This is not only bad service; it is disrespectful and negligent. We expect this refund to be processed immediately without any further runaround and excuses. I hope you will correct this failure on your part and inform us when the refund has been processed. I look forward to hearing from you.

For context, my teacher has been dealing with some absolute dishonesty and, frankly, fraud, and has been requesting a refund from Asurion, all because they don't want to give her 240 dollars even though she returned a BRAND NEW iPhone 16, AND raised her monthly phone bill to $400 a month, which is outrageous. They are edging her refund and screwing her over with this monthly bill and not paying her, they are starving her CHILDREN, this is all of Asurion's fault, and I want her to get her refund before I sue Asurion for emotional stress, on not only me but my teacher as well. You have 24 hours to reply before I send the higher-ups to retrieve not only the phone but also the money. -Your Worst Nightmare
