Spectrum is awesome! We had Daniel come treat our urine stained carpet and the difference was amazing. The urine smell was gone completely and left with a fresh laundry smell. First ever experience with professional carpet cleaners but I was blown away by the results! I really didn't hold out much hope that it wouldn't need to be replaced in order to sell my condo! Lots of houseplants and puppy mistakes left their marks! Brandon performed miracles in a really short time and was so kind and easy to work with! Thank you Spectrum! This is an update that will assure future customers that Spectrum stands behind their work and their reputation. As I stated in the first review, Brandon did a terrific job, especially on the huge water stain that is gone! However, a couple small areas still needed attention after drying. The customer service is excellent and anxious for me to be completely happy so they sent Ryan today to reclean! He made quick work of the problem areas and I will be passing on the good word to my condo neighbors with confidence that they too will have great results! read more

It was our first time buying a home and the first time we had to get an old carpet professionally cleaned. These were the first people I talked to and Donna was so pleasant on the phone and was also able to give me an estimate right away. After checking with a couple of other carpet cleaning companies, and setting up a couple appointments for estimates, I decided to pop into Spectrum's office to meet them and see if I got a good vibe. Jim, Donna, and Diane were just lovely and made me feel very confident that I was going to get a fair deal and great, professional work. They even showed me some of their qualifications and reviews which they had more of on paper than online (as an old school biz). I was impressed enough that I decided to go with them right there. Very conveniently they were able to come out the very same day (because of a last-minute cancellation) and knock out the three rooms that we needed steam cleaned. Josh and Jim got to work and a couple of hours later they were wrapped! We were very pleased with the work they did as they certainly exceeded our expectations for what could be done to the old, pet-affected carpet we inherited. Moreover, the process was easy, friendly, and quick as it was all done on the same day (lucky for us). Of note, Jim explained to me that their business model does not involve up selling once they are in the residence (as, apparently, many carpet cleaners do), but quoting a fair price upfront which almost never changes. I appreciated his honesty and liked the fact that I didn't have to feel pressured later, but could just agree to the price up front. Great work. On time, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I had various cat throw up stains, dried Oxyclean which seemed to bleach my carpet, and a host of other stains left by my former roommate. After Josh finished, the carpet looked good as new! The only downside is that they are on the pricey side. For a small room, cost was almost $170. Either way, I will definitely use Spectrum again. read more

Great quality work--our carpets look brand new! With a baby on the way, we had planned to get our carpets cleaned after having lived in our home for a little over a year. They were starting to look worn and were showing signs of wear and tear. My dad recommended Spectrum as he works with them in a professional capacity. We are selling my mom's house and needed to have the carpet cleaned throughout. You could easily tell where the traffic areas were different from unused areas. I never thought it would all come clean. But the young man who came from Spectrum did a superior job. The carpet looked like new!!! Saturday morning I was getting my carpets cleaned @ 9am so that I could end my lease and get my security deposit back. Josh (and another very polite/professional gentleman who I deeply wish I remembered the name) showed up on time and were in and out within an hour. Deeply set in stains that I thought were impossible to remove were gone or nearly gone and the place looked 100x better than when they arrived. The process of paying was easy and quick and they definitely surprised me with the great work they did. I would definitely call Spectrum again to schedule an appointment and recommend it to anyone. Josh also explained what he was doing, the type of carpet, and cleaning solutions and clearly knew what he was talking about. The people on the phone when I called prior to the guys actually showing up were sort of polite but confused me a bit. All in all, great service! read more

Had them come to clean carpets and bar stools. The carpet cleaning is mostly good, but there was a stain on one of the bar stools that appeared when it was being cleaned. I questioned if it would disappear when the fabric dried and was told it would. If not, they would come back and use another product. It did not disappear so they came back to reclean it. The stain is still there, but this time they damaged the fabric. Very disappointed. read more

I would give a 5-star rating for carpet cleaning--Spectrum has been cleaning my carpets for several years and I have nothing but praise for that service--but more recently I have been trying to get a response about their tile cleaning service and that has been completely baffling. Last spring Spectrum owner was here doing the usual excellent work on my carpets and I asked about tile cleaning, he talked about it knowledgeably, gave me a rough estimate, I called over a month ago to go forward with that ahead of the holiday season ... message taken by receptionist, no callback. Three messages I've left with the receptionist and not one callback. I don't get it--if they don't want to do tile work, just say so, right? I was also interested in having a number of Turkish rugs repaired and cleaned, but not now! ... So I'm here on Yelp looking for an alternative service, not just for tile cleaning but also for my carpets and rugs. Geez. read more

These guys were great! They were professional, polite, and took their time to thoroughly clean our carpets and tile in our new house. The kitchen tile grout went from black to white, it was amazing to see the difference. The carpets, which are 17 years old, look almost new again, and they were able to remove some very tough stains.
