So far no. Today we're switching phones. Walk in and the store has sign in that didn't let us sign in because we're not already customers. We waited 10 minutes. 3 people there that see us waiting don't say a word and call others up that showed up after us. We speak up and it's as if we just walked in for them. I canceled my cable tv one day into the next billing cycle and Spectrum wants to bill for the entire month for $250. It's despicable to charge a customer that much for something not received. The utilities in Wisconsin can only bill for what is used and this should be no different! I will be killing my cell phone and internet as a result of this! Run far and run fast with this company! DO NOT DO A TRADE IN. I had called concerning a scam of a trade-in program. I had called twice before with a complete different answer to a difference for trade offered and what received after "inspection". $300 extra charge after the fact. Escalated my call to "leadership" They act like this is a "red carpet" offer for their near and dear customers. High disappointed. I asked if they can review recorded calls where I was told the apparent "misinformation". No answer besides rereading me the amounts. Total scheme. Bait and switch to the highest degree. read more

Worst company I've dealt with! Was with them for 20 yrs. When I moved, I turned in all equipment, but they said I still had a piece. It needed to be turned in within 90 days. Within 30 days they had a collection's company calling, asking about 15 year old piece of equipment that I didn't have. Will never again deal with spectrum! One screwed up company! read more

Unfortunately we didn't have other options so were stuck paying the spectrum premium. The actual service was probably a 2 star. The customer service and pricing as many have said would be a 0 star if possible. They play the classic pricing promo games and keep lowering the quality of the service each time they do it. They also require you to prepay each month and when you cancel they refuse to credit/refund any of the portion of the unused service amount. If you are looking for a company that cares about the customers and not about the bottom line, look elsewhere. BTW - TDS is now offering fiber optic cable at 50-70% less cost for similar or better service. Everyone on our block has changed and been very happy thus far. read more

I had this service for many years, lost phone & internet and cable for a entire week due to a lightning strike, that is how fast their service is. My bill doubled with out any notice, customer service said they could put me on a different plan but I had to pay the bill anyway. I told them to shut it off. They did, the next day. Zero stars. Don't make the mistake of signing up with Charter! Look at Charter's terrible reviews everywhere. Consumerist magazine (not-for-profit subsidiary of Consumer Reports) calls Charter the "worst company in America." It's no wonder Charter went bankrupt a few years ago. This sleazy firm's business practices include: - cutting your satellite cable, then insisting that customer fight with Charter's 3rd party unlicensed contractor instead of honestly owning up to their mistake and correcting it. - moving your first bill due date ahead after first bill, without prior notification (told this is a "standard" Charter procedure on 2nd bill) - insisting that customers wait 45 days (unbelievable but true) for Charter's Autopay system to take effect, then warning that double payments may occur when customer attempts to make a one-time payment prior to the interim due date (as a safety measure) - moving from CSR agents in South Carolina to the Phillipines, where they lie to customers by claiming healthy account status with zero problems and confirming Autopay sign up weeks ago, then cutting off all services including (Emergency 911) shortly thereafter, without prior notice - migrating from helpful humans to speak with or chat online (about no-service issues) to worthless automated systems - poor no-service reliability I really wanted to love Charter. Our credit history is well above 700 and we always pay bills on time. But after several serious attempts to cooperate with Charter, acting as a good customer to straighten out their billing errors, all of our attempts have been futile. I recommend that prospective customers view the 800+ complaints about Charter on another website, plus other sites, before wasting your time. I'd give zero stars if I could. Spectrum sales person showed up at my parent's home, after dark, in the middle of the week, uninvited. My father invited him into the house and he walked right in and sat down with my dad, without a mask, in the middle of the pandemic. My mother came downstairs to find a complete and total stranger in her house. The sales person's name was Dewey. This sales tactic alone, showing up at people's homes at night, especially senior citizens, seems predatory but Dewey had come to my parent's house two days earlier and had been told they were not interested. He then showed up again two days later and convinced them (two 80 year olds) to switch their cable and Internet to Spectrum. They made an appointment for someone to come install the equipment. All the equipment was mailed to my parent's house. The installers showed up on Friday, February 26, 2021. I took a day off from work to drive out to my parents house, 90 miles away to supervise the entire process. The installer showed up, walked around the yard and the house, and told my parents they could not get Spectrum service there, that the infrastructure had not been built yet and that no one in their neighborhood could get Spectrum service yet. The installers even told us that the sales people have been told this, that Spectrum is not currently available in this somewhat rural area, and the sales people don't listen, they just go around trying to sell services that people cannot even get in that neighborhood, all to get a commission. So now my parents are stuck with all this extra equipment, because there's no UPS store in their town, and I wasted a day off for nothing. Yesterday, I spent an hour on the phone with Spectrum customer service, and I was told that someone would come get the equipment from them today. It is now 6:45 pm and no one has shown up to collect this equipment. read more

Customer Service Reps are quite nice and professional; the only reason I gave them one star. The price for the services is ridiculously high, but they have the market cornered here in Beloit, especially for apartment renters. I thought I would never say I miss Comcast, but I do; at least they gave you more services for the price and services I actually used. My internet is probably the only solid signal I receive, but I had to have their receiver because my receiver "broke" a week after I signed up with Charter. The phone service is an irrelevant service these days, especially since everything is wireless and runs on cell towers. Their "deals" are always tied to the phone service, aka Voice, which again is worthless to the majority of the population. The channel selection is weak and I constantly have to unplug and then restart digital receiver to get the cable signal. The really bad thing is this happens on clear sunny days, not cloudy stormy ones; so much for cable being more reliable than satellite. If you are going to get a "deal" on tv services, might as well go with satellite, so at least when your bill increases the second year, services are more worth it. The On Demand feature is pathetic to say the least. Due to cable services like this, is why people are cutting the cord. read more
