I finally had had enough and despite having the same equipment the entire time, was told by customer service that I would owe them over $400 due to recently adding another wireless Joey to the network (about a year ago). The customer service rep kept trying to sell me on better deals to stay and when I refused became irritated at me for not listening to him. Unbelievable. Was paying them $180/month, so switched to Tablo and pay nothing per month. Best choice I made, despite the rip-off on the $400 charge to close out. They won't survive long with this kind of service.

They finally decided to send me a new one, which I have to wait a week for when my current DVR won't record and if I wanted it in two days, I'd have to pay 20 bucks. In addition to this dish has raised my fee every year for the last three years. Is this what you call customer service? Is this what you called trying to retain loyal customers. I left DIRECTV because of poor customer service now I think I'm just gonna go straight streaming. I could not recommend DISH to anyone.
