To the contrary, Jerry came out the same day to give us an estimate, and he completed the work four days later. Jerry took about an hour longer than he had anticipated because he was dedicated to making sure everything was up and running perfectly before he headed out. He was polite, clean, honest, and meticulous. Overall, we could not be happier with the service we received from Control Freaks and would not hesitate to refer them to friends and family. We will certainly use them again in the future.

After decades with Spectrum and extortionary costs, along with dismal in town (Appleton) speeds…read more(contrary to what they advertise), we finally switched to TDS. Our monthly cost have gone from $250/ month to $50 a month which is guaranteed for 2 years. We still get all the streaming services as before (using Roku stick for both services.) Best of all our internet speed has gone from 60-75 Mbs to 500 Mbs upload as tested with a speed tester. What's really unbelievable is that we waited so long to do this. And having to going in to the Spectrum store in Appleton (which is mandatory to discontinue the service) we did not complain and were friendly, being happy to be rid of this costly and terrible internet speed service. The agent on the other hand looked like he was a ticking time bomb ready to explode at any second. Even though it was a terrible visit experience, we were just as happy coming out of the store as going in, being relieved at having made this switch.

Tim took the time to personally come over, confirm Danny's suspicions, and collaborate on a plan to resolve the issue. They even coordinated with Caden, another team member, to assist with a specific step of the repair. Our home is older, and we discovered that our kitchen piping had been slowly eroding in the basement crawl space for years before finally bursting. This caused sewage water from our sink and dishwasher to seep into our concrete cinder block basement wall. Within hours, the Rausch Plumbing team had completely re-piped the entire system and provided helpful recommendations for potential restoration work. These guys were outstanding! Hardworking, professional, and genuinely kindhearted. Their level of service and respect was unmatched. My husband and I even joked that Danny was so great, we could imagine inviting him and his family over for a backyard barbecue! My experience with Spectrum has been nothing short of a nightmare. The way they treat their employees is appalling. Instead of holding management and office personnel accountable for their mistakes, the burden is unfairly placed on hardworking employees. It's clear that Spectrum prioritizes protecting those in higher positions while disregarding the well-being of their staff. What's even more disturbing is the company's apparent acceptance of discriminatory practices within their ranks. Supervisors are allowed to discriminate, abuse, and harass employees based on their gender, race, sexual orientation, and more, creating a toxic and hostile work environment. Furthermore, when employees try to hold Spectrum accountable for these egregious wrongs, they face even more distressing challenges. Instead of addressing the issues and fostering an environment of open communication, the company resorts to retaliation, threats, and harassment to silence those who dare to speak up. This intimidation tactic not only intensifies the distress for the employees but also discourages others from speaking out against the injustices they face. It is deeply troubling to witness a company that not only allows discrimination and mistreatment but actively suppresses any attempts to seek justice and positive change. This behavior further highlights Spectrum's lack of commitment to creating a fair and inclusive workplace. As a result, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of taking these serious concerns into account when considering any involvement with Spectrum as an employee or customer. Such an environment is detrimental to the well-being of its workforce and does not deserve support or trust. I spoke with the dispatch and service managers for We Connect multiple times throughout the day and they are unwilling to honor their commitment to service my Hughnest installation on the day committed. Getting customers to sign documents agreeing to perform work then leaving the job site is dishonest and probably part of a scam to bill for more services. The service manager will only allow a technician to come back on a different day and I am required to sign new service forms allowing work to be performed. It looks like they are double billing for work. Customers should be aware We Connect LLC is operating with shady business practices.
