Very slow service. Waiting in line with 8 more customers standing behind me.

Customer service needs a lot of help. Very long wait times just to return equipment. It took me over 45 minutes to get waited on. No appointments were available because the website appointment system was not working. When canceling my service, it was very difficult speaking with the agent. He was trying to convince me to stay with Spectrum even though I was adamant I wanted out of Spectrum.

Currently still waiting. Number 6 after 45 minutes waiting already !! Seriously ?? Wow!!

Absolutely horrible in person service !! 2 employees that work super slow. 1 employee is still with the original customer that she was with over half an hour now!! Seriously ?? Got here over 35 minutes ago and still 2 people ahead of us with a lobby full of customers. At least a dozen customers just sitting around waiting!! And most seem to be standing here with modems in hand!! Our modem went out and was told it would be fast to just come to the local store to swap the equipment out. You can't even call the store directly to find out if they have the equipment that you need.

Spectrum Mobile - Altamonte Springs - Motorola Razr+
Marisa F.

I've been a Spectrum customer since I moved to Altamonte Springs four years ago. I was forced by the complex that I live in to sign up for Spectrum Internet. Unfortunately, it was the only available provider for the area at that time. Little did I know, I was actually signing up for endless problems and tons of wasted money and time. I began with their basic residential Internet service, which included a router, modem, and "instructions" for self-installation. However, the process was far from smooth. I had to trek to a Spectrum store to pick up the equipment--no delivery or home installation options. The monthly cost was decided on the spot, and I assumed it would remain consistent as long as I paid my bill on time and made no changes. But that's where the frustration began. My bill has steadily increased while the speed has decreased. Worse yet, I discovered that the router and modem they provided only work one speed at a time - 5G or 2.4 GHz- not both simultaneously. I had to choose between the two, leaving me unable to use devices that relied on the other frequency. When I attempted to upgrade my internet speed, I hit another roadblock. Upgrading meant I couldn't use technology I'd already invested in, like my video doorbell, WiFi locks, and security cameras--all of which operate on the 2.4 GHz band. Spectrum's solution? Either switch my entire network back to the slower speed (and pay extra for nothing) or buy an expensive modem compatible with their service. On top of it all, the customer service at this Spectrum store was non-existent, at best. The staff were downright disrespectful. Upon entering, I was not only NOT greeted, I was actually ignored! I received no acknowledgement until I stood at the register for several minutes as I waited for the two employees to finish their private conversation. I finally interrupted, thinking their attitudes would turn to remorse (even if it was fake,). Instead, they looked at me with surprise. One of them still said nothing to me and walked away. The other reluctantly attempted to solve the issue I was having, but made sure that I was aware of his annoyance and impatience while did so. In short, if you're considering switching to Spectrum, I would politely advise reevaluating your options.

Spectrum is probably the absolute worst cable I have encountered in my adult life. I would give a zero star if I was not force to put a star

I recently purchased a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I believe her name was Madeline (she was in…read moretraining), was helping me. She was so kind and did an amazing job describing my options. While speaking a man with roller shoes "skated" over. Not very pleasant, more like cocky. He said he was a manager and his name was Tom. I made it clear I did not want to change my plan. I WAS grandfathered into the military one plan and Tom told me since I was grandfathered into the plan it wouldn't change. He also told me I'd get Apple TV for as long as I had a plan with T-Mobile, which I later found out was another lie. Tom told me it would take a while to transfer my items from my old phone to the new one if I wanted to walk around the mall. I left Tom with my phone, phone case and screen protector. When I came to pick up the phone, I asked where my screen protector was. Tom told me he threw it away because it wouldn't fit my phone and was broken. I've had that Zagg screen protector which cost me $60 for 2 years and while it had scratches it still protected my phone screen which was in perfect condition. I was saving it to put on another one of my phones. I saw Madeline go up to him, I'm assuming to talk to him about it, but I heard him say "NO". So I'm out a 60 screen protector which has a lifetime warranty because of a bad decision Tom made. So I get my bill and see my plan charge went from $55 a month to $75, and no this does not include my new phone which is on a separate line under equipment charges. So Tom changed my plan WITHOUT my permission and threw away my lifetime screen protector. I called T-Mobile after realizing this and to say the two representatives I spoke with were appalled that a manager would change my plan without permission is an understatement. The representatives were both so kind and fixed the situation for me. I HIGHLY suggest not going to this store unless you want to get scammed.

this T-Mobile in the Altamonte mall needs better trained employee at all times. it feels like they…read morehire people and throw them on the floor with 2 weeks worth of training. I wanted to switch my phone number onto a new phone and add a new number to a phone already on the line. Why did this dude DELETE THE WHOLE E SIM before I was able to transfer ALL OF MY INFORMATION onto the new phone. MIND YOU i asked multiple times to check what phones they have in stock as I did NOT want to proceed with the process if the phone was not available. NO not the case he continued to fill out the tablet. He really sucks and needs to be fired. Not only was I left without a phone he deleted all the 8 years worth of information I had. GREAT THANK YOU SO MUCH.
