They make you fill out so many forms about your babies schedule and instructions to just do whatever they want, feed them when they want as well as changing their diapers. They would put products on my baby's skin without my authorization. If you call during the day to see how your child is doing, they would get annoyed and give you attitude. All they want is money, don't let them trick you with the security systems and nice daycare, they do not care about the kids. All of the staff look unhappy and not wanting to do their jobs. I DO NOT recommend this daycare to NO one. Don't trust them specially with vulnerable infants. My experience was awful, I gave them time to put their shit together and spoke to everyone, even the director, to avoid writing this review and having to switch daycare. I think I trusted this facility way too much and had very high expectations, this is why now I'm so disappointed. My baby's first day when I picked up my 3mon old baby her pants were all wet of pee, my daughter was left alone in a corner awake in a swing far away from the other kids and unattended by the teachers, when I grabbed her she was freezing, the air conditioner was too low so when I carried her she was shaking, she was only given 2 bottles of milk during the full 8 hours that she was there (my baby eats a lot) I told them her eat schedule and wrote everything down on a form they provided, she usually eats every 2 hours and even before. When I saw her pants wet and felt how cold she was I asked the teacher (Jayda/Jayra whatever her name is) her answer was "well I just changed her diaper!" (with a nasty attitude) I replied by showing her my baby's pants so she can notice the wetness on it (she never made eye contact) she proceed with grabbing a tablet and slamming it in front of me to show the times she was supposedly changed but that doesn't really means she was changed on time cuz she can document what ever she wants on there and not necessarily be done. I was so irritated that I did not react any other way then just grab my baby and leave the center with my eyes full of tears. After I got home I called and spoke to the manager (Ashley I believe is her name) the director (Kimberly) was also aware, supposedly everything was gonna change but I was already concerned about my daughters safety and treatment. The next day that teacher (Jayda/Jayra) wasn't in my baby's classroom but the teachers there were still not following my baby's schedule, they were not giving the baby her bottles on time, they would always put the excuse that baby was sleeping. I also took my baby some sleepers so she can stay warm in her classroom since it was so cold in there but they would take it off and lose her socks.The third day when I went to drop her off, I went in the classroom and I waited almost 10 min for the teacher to go inside the classroom to take my baby so I can rush to work but she was too busy gossiping with another teacher in another classroom. Every time I use to go drop her off or picked her up, there was a different teacher which didn't know anything about the instructions I had gave to the previous teacher, their communication skills were horrible. This is not a place to trust, it's full of unprofessional and poorly trained staff that are only there for a paycheck and not necessarily because they like kids.

Unfortunately it just didn't work out and we decided to take our child out after four months of enrollment. It was just a series of events that led to this decision, but the worst part is how it ended. Since he started in April, we felt like he's been out of the daycare more days than he attended(2 weeks for covid closure(thankfully my son didn't have it), a little less than a week for coxsackie closure(unfortunately he caught it from one of the kids), a random day in June, these upcoming two weeks for training and Labor Day, and possible two weeks Christmas Eve thru New Years break) and we're still paying for all of those days he's not attending on top of paying for a sitter while the daycare is closed. We wish we were aware that they have extended breaks instead of just major holidays like the other daycares in the area. What make matters worst is that they have a system where you pay for the month in advance. We notified them in August that our child will no longer attend the center in September(the month we recently paid for) and requested to get the money back. First we was told that our agreement states we have to give a 30 day notice(which it absolutely doesn't). When we went over the agreement and explained how it doesn't, we was just told that accounting team won't give a refund with less than a 30 day notice. I honestly feel scammed for my hard earned money and this experience has left a real bad taste in my mouth. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had and no parent should have to go through this.

My toddler has been attending Meadows since she was 10 months old, and we have nothing but good…read morethings to say. The staff and teachers are communicative, kind, and caring. We know that our daughter is always supported and loved, and she has adored her teachers in each of the classrooms she has entered. The school has a good balance of learning and play, and as our child has moved into the toddler wing, there are more and more interactive activities for her to do. The leadership builds community within the families and really loves when they are involved, and they are also communicative about issues/changes to schedules, etc. We have had few problems, but when something comes up, the issue is handled right away. One of the things that we love is the diversity within the school and the celebration of so many different holidays. We get to share some of our traditions and traditions we get to learn about the other students', which is something that we had been looking for in a school. We are so so happy that our child is at Meadows, and we look forward to our continued relationship with her school!

I live in one of the best school districts in NJ but we switched to Holy Spirit School three years…read moreago and I am so happy we did. Wanting "more" for my children, we looked at various private schools in the region that had high levels of academic focus, strong community and that "something extra". After visiting several school we chose Holy Spirit for many reasons but it was the only school that really stood out as having that "something extra". First, their true commitment to growing the children academically in the most personalized manner was incredible. Allowing them to move forward and learn at their own pace and encouraging them to grow not "waiting for the others to catch up" as we saw in public school. But also, when they need help or a little extra, the teachers and staff have gone out of their way to work personally with the children to help them understand and excite them about the learning. The teachers are always available and happy to offer extra tutoring which is wonderful. The kids are nurtured in a "family" environment to care for, respect and help each other. Beyond the academics there is a community of involvement among the parents. The school events and fundraisers are great fun for the extended community, not just the school community. Annually the entire school rallies around the "school play" which is the largest and most incredibly well produced and directed school play I have ever seen. The kids are from 3rd- 8th grade and they blow the socks off many of the high school productions we've seen. For those 4 months of practice and rehearsals, those kids are a part of something wonderful that they will remember and gain skills they will use for the rest of their lives. My children love Holy Spirit and so do we!

Granted this was during COVID but none of the other schools had such a high turnover. It was also messy, disorganized and their communication was horrible. I think could have lived with all that. However, my 3 year old came home with a black eye one day. She told me that "Ms Yin Li kicked her in the face with her foot because she was angry that she would not fall asleep during nap time". When I called the school the next day to ask what happened, the principal, owner and other staff, tried to give me 100 theories as to what could have happened to her (she must have bumped herself against the cot, she probably hit herself against the bench because kids fight for the red bench, it happened outside of school, etc) instead of focusing on what my child was saying. I tried to have the school press charges against Yin Li, but she had already also resigned and they told me it was "too late" (maybe 5 weeks had passed since the incident) so I decided to file a complaint with the state (which came back inconclusive but at least I reported and recorded the incident). Please don't send your kids to this place, there are other much better schools in the area. Unfortunately, today I felt the need to review this business due to the trauma my son has been facing. My son attended this center for less than 8 months. In which two major head injuries occurred (see photo). One hematoma on the forehead which has left him with permanent muscle tear and is visible when he cries or laughs real big. Second injury was staples on his head because they allowed another child to hit my son with a very heavy plastic toy that gashed my son's head pretty deep. This is not ALL staff but certainly some young ones who clearly are not meant to be in The field to care for children. Sadly also management not being more proactive to make sure teachers are more aware of the children's surroundings. These are only 2 incidents that I felt justifiable enough never to return. There were other incidents of my child constantly being bitten. My reason for writing this is because the staples incident occurred 4/4/2025 and today my son had a complete meltdown scared to return to a new daycare... still naming the child from kindercare who hurt him. I'm not blaming the child I'm blaming management for having people who don't care and for not being more involved in the classroom. When my husband returned the following Monday to retrieve our sons belongings the staff didn't even bat an eye and that's very sad to hear. The reviews you see here are from management office pushing to get reviews from both parents and staff. They aren't real reviews. I only know this because I was one of the parents who received those request in November/December. Due to the biting incidents it took me awhile to review. But after the hematoma I removed it. All bad reviews seem to have been deleted. I hope they do better... for the children's safety and for the parents who have to work and shouldn't have to worry about their children's safety.

The director who recently retired has passed the reins to her son, Mr. Chuck, who is by far one of the nicest people we know. He is caring and flexible. Taking the lead, you can visibly see him adding new ideas to an already wonderful program. As if that is not enough, he is a part of the local EMS team. Often sporting his uniform, if that does not provide comfort, I don't know what does! The reason we selected CLC was simple. THE STAFF!!! No high school/college turnover here. This is a dedicated group of women, most of whom are grandmas and with CLC for 10/15 + years. Each one is truly better than the next. If we ever have a question, they usually can be the first to provide an answer. When all is said and done, its about your child being happy and you must comfortable. There has never been a day where we leave our daughter with worry, and never a day she comes home from school without a smile on her face! This past Sunday she asked me, can I go to school? That's when you know you found the right fit!

I was informed at the time that this type of contract is typically offered to teachers; however, the director offered it to us as a courtesy when we were preparing to leave, due to the school's 12-month schedule and lack of a guaranteed September spot if a child is withdrawn for July and August. I was clear with the director that I am not a teacher, and the contract was still offered and signed. Based on vocal and written communication, my understanding was that this agreement allowed my child to be out for July and August while maintaining her enrollment for September. Recently, we were unexpectedly asked to confirm our intentions for the next school year. When I referenced the 10-month contract, I was told someone would follow up with me, which did not happen. I then emailed for clarification. The owner responded by stating that I had misunderstood the agreement, despite the contract and email I had in writing from her outlining what the 10 month contract is. When I said I would need to consult a lawyer if the agreement was not honored, I was told the owner does not deal with "litigious people," and my child was removed from the program in the middle of the school day. Separately, my child reported being hit by another student on multiple occasions. When these concerns were brought to the owner, I was told that my child was lying. There was also an incident where staff commented negatively on my child's lunch, telling her that yogurt was unhealthy, which I found inappropriate. This review reflects my direct experience only. I encourage parents to ask detailed questions, get all agreements in writing, and carefully consider how concerns and disputes are handled before enrolling.
